BLOOM! Garden Center & Elemental Design

Description of Work: Bloom took over Lotus Gardenscapes, who installed all of our landscaping. Bloom honored some of the warranty work, but in a choppy fashion. We were paired with a landscape designer who was either late or canceled appointments on us. Our soil was never properly amended. Plants weren't properly planted. Invasive weeds were introduced by their mulch and I was directed to an article about how to handle them. We were nickel and dimed on everything since the contract was written up by someone who was no longer at the company, so the "new eyes" on the project took that as an opportunity to take advantage. Bottom line, the owner of Bloom should've gotten involved in my scenario and come to the house rather than have an overworked person who didn't care about an "inherited" project deal with it. After two of my initial designers left (One quit, the other got fired), the company was sold in the middle of my project. The whole scenario was disastrous and I'm left having to deal with fixing it to actually look like it was done by a professional company. Landscaping companies who have taken a look at it to fix it cannot believe how sloppy of a job was done. Never dealt with such a disastrous outcome when hiring a "professional" company.
