We have been pleased with them.

I called due to a possible leak in my ac. Dave came out looked said he could not find one but it could be small. he said that I did have a clogged filter and that if I did not want to fix it right away, that I should just wait until spring!! I will be calling them back if not in the next week for sure in the spring. He explained everything to me and showed me what he was doing step by step.

From scheduling to the service call to repair to payment - all went very well and I was highly satisified with the customer service, the repair and the price.

I was very pleased by the discounted price they gave me. They were professional and on time. The only thing that I wasn't too happy about is that the person who did the job was short when answering my husband questions in explaining what he's doing.

My experience with National Heating and Cooling has been excellent. The salesman was very thorough, polite and honest in answering my questions and providing pros and cons about options. He spent at least 1 1/2 hours on the initial visit analyzing my home and gaining information to be used in making an accurate head load analysis. (Not all companies take the time to do this and all reports will tell you that this is critical and needs to involve more than just asking your home's square footage). An error was made in the original proposal with regards to the size/pricing of the A/C unit. When discussed with the salesman, he was most apologetic, sincere and corrections were easily handled. (We are all human and make mistakes...this was NOT an intentional error). The installation was completed over 2 days in a timely and professional manner. The installers were always right on time, tidy, polite and efficient. They even handled our intimidating (but very friendly) German Shepard dog with kindness. Before choosing National Heating and Cooling, I obtained one other quote from another highly rated company on Angie's list. There was NO comparison between these two highly rated companies. National Heating and Cooling won in all categories hands down! National Heating and Cooling was always professional, always thorough, always prompt, always responded to calls and questions and their price was better! National Heating and Cooling just returned to do their final adjustment for the A/C unit and, once again, the experience was excellent. I highly recommend National Heating and Cooling!

The technician quickly determined that the igniter in my furnace (circa 1980) was broken. Fortunately, he had a replacement part in his truck. Replacement and installation was fast. Due to a busy day with many customers, and the uncertainties of rush hour freeways, the technician was one hour late for the appointment. I anticipate using them in the future.

No problems at all - salesperson came to our house and explained their products and services, and we got the quote the same day. Installation was a couple of days after we made our decision. Installers were great - they were right on time, and did a great job. I would use National again and will recommend them to anyone looking for HVAC work

The team was on tome to remove old parts and break down and remove the old furnace. The crew that installed the new furnace was on time. Work was well done, leaving area clean and functioning well.

From the initial call around 7am to the same day completion, this company was totally responsive via phone contact. A less ethical company, knowing I was not on site, could have taken me for a ride by recommending unneeded repairs to thermostat, thermocouple, etc. They did not. They are true professionals and I will be using them for my primary residence.

Central air conditioning was not cooling and there was frost on the pipes. The company was able to come out the same day. The company came and believed there was a small leak in the system. The frost needed to melt so that they could run tests and be sure. They came back the next day for no extra charge. Added the freon and cooling is now working correctly. They were prompt, courteous and answered all questions. The main office called to notify when serviceman was on way. The price includes the service call and the freon. Check their website for coupons. Great job!

On 11/18/08, I left a message and received a call shortly afterwards, my furnace had went out, thus, I had no heat, I had to go to work, they arranged for someone to come after work, the service person quickly diagnosed the problem and replace the above mentioned parts, in record time, I was very happy to have heat again, also, the service person was a very nice man and did not mind me asking him questions

After setting up an appointment on Friday with the owner, the 20-year experienced sales rep came to my home on Monday and provided a quote. He was very professional and had a genuine personality to serve. The choice was easy after comparing National Heating and Cooling with the 2 other quotes. National H/C not only had the best quote, but also has been in H/C business for 50-years, accredited with the Better Business Bureau and Rated A on Angie's List. We immediately authorized the installation for the next day, Tuesday. Imagine that-next day service! Now that is SUPERIOR SERVICE! The installers were extremely professional, detail-oriented, and ensured cleanliness not only in the furnace room, but also ensured cleanliness by laying down plastic from front door, down the basement stairs, and to the furnace room. They performed a remarkable job and I'm very thankful to my friends who referred National Heatingand Cooling to me and to those at Angie's List for the high-ratings and comments.

We have used National Heating and Cooling for 15 years for our annual furnace inspection -- on the advice of a neighbor when we moved in. They have never disappointed us. They schedule appointments quickly and call when the serviceman is on his way. The personnel always arrive on time. They're also great on emergency calls -- I remember a guy getting to us about 9:00 p.m. on a sweltering day when the company was inundated with repair calls. We were thrilled to see him at 9:00, and though we told him he could come back the next day, he stayed, did the job efficiently and effectively, and did the company proud. National knows what the word "professional" means.

I was totally pleased with the quick response. Before I was off the phone, a technician was sent to my mother's home. He took his time carefully checking the system. I was impressed with the company suggesting a cheaper, more complete plan they were offering to evaluate the entire system, than the one I requested (which would have only involved checking the coolant level as opposed to the entire unit) which was more expensive by itself. I will definitely use this company again and recommend them to others looking for service. Angie's List is the BEST organization I have ever joined.

THIS COMPANY WAS EXCELLENT. WE DIDN'T HAVE ANY PROBLEMS AT ALL WITH THEM. THEY HAVE BEEN TAKING CARE OF MY HEATING FOR 36 YEARS AND THEY HAVE ALWAYS BEEN GREAT TO ME. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM.

I THOUGHT THEIR PRICES WERE VERY REASONABLE. THEY JUST DID AN ALL AROUND GOOD JOB, AND I HAVE NO COMPLAINTS ABOUT THIS COMPANY. I HAVEN'T HAD ANY PROBLEMS WITH MY FURNACE SINCE THEY PUT IT IN.
