Had some scheduling issues, but was able to get the work completed. While the scheduling had some issues, the quality of the work was excellent.

They were fast and efficient. They also cleaned up well behind them selves.

Just wish they would have charged me less than their usual fee of $175.00 because our chimney is brand new (gas) and clean and only used a few times. Needed to get a few twigs out the chimney that chimney Swift’s left, but not much there. Birds has flown South for the Winter. The technician was so nice and explained everything he was doing/did.

He explained everything thoroughly and offered us the best price. He completed the job efficiently and cleaned up the old damper parts. This is the second time I have used Detroit City Sweep, the first time for a fireplace cleaning. I am very happy with their services and would highly recommend them.

They called prior to coming in the window of time scheduled. Thoroughly cleaned up. Very pleased.

I scheduled an appointment with a operating window between 1pm and 4pm on October 30th. I called at 1:50pm on the appointment date to confirm. I was told that the assigned technician will call. I did not receive a call and a technician did not show up. As of October 31, I still have not received a courtesy call to re-schedule or an apology for the inconvenience.

He was great, and told us a lot about a gas fireplace in our new house! We were use to a wood burning fireplace!

The work was done quickly and cleanly. I am a novice to open hearths, and Steve patiently explained to me how to make a fire safely.

Although this company may clean and maintain wood burning fireplaces very well, that are not adept at working with gas fireplaces. The technician could not adjust our valve properly and said we needed a new one. We declined. Another company came in and made all adjustments in 15 minutes.

They were professional and punctual. They put down covers to protect carpeting in living room and also had covers on their shoes. After taking preliminary pictures inside of chimney and outside, they detected an area in chimney that was in need of repair. We had them to return to repair the chimney and also place a covering over the top to prevent additional birds from entering through the chimney. Very satisfied.

They did an awesome job! I didn't realize how dirty my gas fireplace was until it was cleaned. I knew it needed to be cleaned, but when they were done it looked brand new. They were professional, courteous and efficient. I will definitely hire them again.
