I feel like I've been taken advantage of. My fireplace/chimney was supposed to be cleaned and inspected so I could use my fireplace. They are trying to up-sell me.

I had my wood fireplace cleaned and inspected. I was very impressed with the amount of time he spent cleaning my fireplace. He did a very thorough job. I've had other companies come out to do this before and there was no comparison on the job I received from Detroit City Sweep. Don't hesitate to use this company.

The gentleman that did the work was very nice and professional.

The appointment for 1 p.m. was for a window of time, between 1 and 4 p.m. The technician (Chris) called about 30 minutes before he arrived, which was helpful. He did a great job inspecting my fireplace and going on the roof to inspect the chimney. He really knew what he was doing and made recommendations of things I needed. His work was professional, clean and thorough.

Dwayne was knowledgeable about chimney and fireplace. Great job cleaning with no mess to clean up. However he did not have proper equipment ( 40 foot ladder) to get on roof to inspect chimney and cap, just made observation from ground level. This is why I can't give all 5 stars.

The chimney sweep was very polite and finished installing the chimney cover quickly. He gave good advice concerning my fire place. I will rehire the company in the fall for a cleaning

Gave me good info on the problem that I was unaware of. I ended with getting some bricks in the chimney based replaced, mortar touched up and a new ash clean-out door as mine was 110 years old.
