There was a miscommunication between Home Advisor and this company. The company apologized and rescheduled even though it was t their fault. Nice tech, Chris, was on time, honest and pleasant. Good work on our fireplace.

Detroit City Sweep was on-time, courteous in our home, and very professional. We had ordered cleaning and inspection, as we had just purchased our home and wanted to be sure we wouldn't have issues when building our first fire in the fireplace. The technician, after reviewing our chimney, decided we didn't need a cleaning and charged us only for an inspection. We were very impressed!

Representative was professional (knowledgeable about task) and friendly (pleasant demeanor and forthcoming with helpful information). And punctual!

After a scheduling snafu (miss) I called and they arranged a reschedule with multiple apologies. Chris who showed up was a consummate professional at his job. His attention to detail and cleanliness exceeded expectations. The work performed met my satisfaction. Chris is a solid 5 stars.

Steven did a great job getting our fireplace ready for winter

Not only did I end up with a thoroughly cleaned chimney and fireplace, but I learned a lot about building fires in my home in general. The serviceman was prompt and friendly - and careful not to let my cats outside, which is a first. I will definitely call Detroit City Sweep again in the future.

Thorough and knowledgeable

Chimney service. Don't research or look at reviews for any other company. They are it! Unbelievable communications, timeliness and professional demeanor of servicemen as well as quality of service. Can't get anyone better. And if you are a price shopper? You're Not going to get better on that aspect as well

Came out at scheduled appointment time and very professional. Turns out I only had a loose connection in one of the wires so no major work was done but, the technician did explain proper maintenance for my gas fireplace and that he can come back and clean it whenever I am ready. Also gave me some other information I asked for regarding placing a fan

On time eager to work very nice and went right to work on chimney. Would give James more than 5 stars
