He swapped out 5 outlets, installed 3 light fixtures and fixed my doorbells. I was very pleased with the work he did, and he is just a agreat guy to talk to. I'd definitely use them again. Description of Work: I waited a while to review so I could calm down. I'll try to stick to just the facts. | |They put in an outdoor electrical outlet on the front of our house. I had the appt date written down as 12/8. They showed up on 12/7 when I wasn't there. I may have written it down wrong, but there was no call to confirm the date ahead of time. My husband was there and was working from home at the time, so no one oversaw what they did. | |They installed the outlet sideways and really close to the ground. (Wish I could attach pics to this) If something is plugged in when it rains, water gets in because the door goes sideways instead of up-and-down. He didn't hook it up to the indoor switch, so we had to buy a timer, or else go outside whenever we want to turn the Christmas lights on or off. He didn't ask my husband how he wanted it, just cut the hole in our house SIDEWAYS. | |We had bought the deal through Angie's list, paying $109 for $200 worth of services, but they added on stuff to make it $280 so we had to pay an additional $80. They added about $30 to the invoice for the outlet itself. When I searched online to figure out how to keep rain from getting in, I found the exact model at Lowe's for $8. | |My husband asked for an estimate to get an additional outlet done on the back of the house, and the guy said it would be $200. That's funny because the outlet in the front of the house cost $280. Why would the back one be only $200? There's no way we would have them come back to do more work, but my husband was working at the time, so he didn't know what the guy did.
