I informed Mr. Richardson of my location the first time I called him and he said that they did work in my area. We discussed the sizes of the walls, the type of renovation needed, the colors and styles that I liked and we set the wheels in motion to get going on the project. He has now left me with the tiles and the new faucets paid for with no contractor. He says 50 miles is too far for them to come, even though it's only 35, and he knew where I lived at the beginning.

Outstanding - Dave kept me informed every step of the way. We decided on the style, the tile and the details of the new shower. What impressed me was the thoroughness of his work. He cleaned the inside and outside each day. He did not rush the job, and he was on time and on cost. Again, every detail from shower head, to the color of the tile to the style of the tile was discussed. I would highly recommend Dave and his work to anyone who wants a job done right, the first time

Dave responded positively to our overall design plan even though we had not worked out all of the details. We described how each piece should be and he found or built exactly what we wanted. This included finding just the right vanity and creating a shower stall lined with the perfect tile. The floor tile and granite counter top matched very well. The glass vessel sinks were exactly what we wanted.

We contacted Dave Richardson regarding the renovation of the master bath in our new house after finding his information here on Angies List. From the first contact, Dave was punctual and helpful. As we described what we wanted we sensed that he understood completely and that was confirmed by the final product. We described the type of vanity we wanted and he found one at a reasonable cost. He gave us the walk-in shower that we described. He moved the closet door out of the bathroom and repaired the wall. The tiles he selected based on our descriptions were perfect. The bathroom is exactly what we wanted.

The contractor gave us an estimate, and said he could start the next week because he was finishing another job. He finishes a job before moving on to another one. The place was gutted quickly and efficiently. When it was became obvious that the 6ft X 10ft room was too small to have the barrier free shower and to turn around in it, Instead of giving me something that I wouldn't’t be happy with Dave suggested to make the space larger by knocking out a wall and taking some space from an adjacent bedroom. Everything had to move. The supply and waste lines were dug up and repositioned. This was a lot more work, but Dave stuck to the agreed price. Was Dave good and would I recommend him to anyone…The answer is a resounding yes By the way, the bathroom is beautiful

David was very responsive and accessible. He reviewed the existing bathroom, understood our needs, and suggested various options. He had pictures to help convey how a suggestion might appear. Every detail was discussed concerning all aspects of the project. The agreement was written and very clear and concise. The price was very reasonable. Material was purchased and delivered to the construction site the day of the agreement. Construction began the next morning. David, was very specific about all aspects of the remodeling project and performed all work himself to ensure quality. The work was performed very quickly, but scheduled at times that were convenient for us, the home owner. The contractor's many years of experience on similar projects produced a much superior finished product than I expected or envisioned. All materials used and work performed were first class.

My wife and I are exceptionally pleased with the work David Richardson performed for us. David is a true master craftsman. He removed the old tub, and stripped the tub area down to the bare studs. Next, David chipped out an area of the slab and moved the drain to the middle of the shower floor and built the shower base. He then installed new green board, tiled the entire unit, and installed the new fixtures; shower head, faucet, and handicap bars. The job took several days. At the end of each day, David cleared the area of any debris and left the area as neat as possible. He did not leave tools or supplies in the bathroom overnight. We had full use of the bathroom in the evenings. All work was completed within the time period and for the price as given on the statement of work David provided us before work began. We couldn't be more pleased with the shower David built for us and will certainly call him first for any other tile work we have done. We found David polite, personable, and above all, professional at all times.
