+ -1 moreOur furniture was damaged during a move and we asked our insurance company to hire Able Repairs to fix it (we met the company after an earlier move and had been amazed at the quality of the repairs). While Able was here fixing insured damage, we also hired him to repair a nasty scar on the kitchen cabinets. He spent about an hour total on our three repairs and the result, as expected, is impeccable. You have to really know where to look to find any trace of the former gouges and scratches. Duane Smith was exactly on time for the appointment and took great care to protect neighboring surfaces from his repair products.
Description of Work: Duane repaired two gouges in a piece of fine alderwood furniture and some deep scratches in a damaged kitchen cabinet. With both pieces, he filled the damaged wood and refinished the surface in a way that makes the repairs nearly invisible, which is his specialty.
