Kearns Brothers did very well. They were very professional and left their work station clean.

This provider was very punctual and professional. All details were explained to us and was performed in a timely manor. My wife and I were impressed that the workmen were not looking into our home as they were working. The clean up was well done and we were very satisfied. We were able to work with our insurance company and the appropriate transfer of the payment was uneventful. We would highly recommend the Kearns Brothers for home repairs.

We were gutting our living room and pulled the insulation down from the ceiling. We discovered 2 soft/rotten spots and there was clear water damage to the decking boards. We called Kearns on the Saturday before Easter. Michael told us that because of the holiday weekend he could not make it out to our house, but he came on Monday for an estimate. After a thorough check, he explained that not only was there damage above our living room, but soft spots all over the roof. Also, our soffets were inadequate for air movement. After getting an estimate (and hearing the same issues) from another company, we decided to go with Kearns because of their promptness in responding. The actual roof replacing did not occur until almost a month later, due to rainy days and backups on other jobs they had. It took only 2 days; one day for the complete tearoff, 13 decking boards replaced, and new roof; the second day they replaced all soffets & gutters. The price was a few hundred more than estimate, but we understood at the start the price would be dependent on how many decking boards were replaced. My husband wanted an adjustment regarding a gutter & downspout, and that was completed within a few days of us calling them back. Michael was very courteous, the crew was personable & cleaned up after themselves. We will definitely use them again (but hopefully, won't have to on this house!).

We were very pleased with Kearns Brothers and are very comfortable recommending them to family and friends. Why? from the beginning our salesperson was professional and thorough. His presentation included the elements that we were interested in such as how the roof would be installed - pointing out important elements that would increase the longevity of our roof. He was careful not to disparage his competition. We also had a insurance claim in progress and asked them to take pictures of the roof. We received the pictures via email the same day. We were promised one day installation and they delivered starting around 8:00 and finishing before 3:00. The foreman was attentive and saw to it that literally not a speck was left behind. A bill was left the same day. There was a minor issue with the final cost but that was resolved within an hour on a Saturday!

They were able to get done in one day. Very professional. Did not try to upsell and made sure that we were educated in making our decision.

Clean up was excellent except for a few nails found around the property. Overall very pleased and would recommend to others.

All of the work went exceptionally well. It began with the customer service. My family and I experienced a Tornado on 3-15-2012. The house suffered extensive damage to the exterior as well as interior. Kearns tarped the roof and cleaned up the yard right away. They were there quickly and just wanted to help. The owner of the company, who lives in the community, was actually helping with some of the manual labor. My wife and I decided to use them to roof our house. The roof was installed and the job was cleaned up in 4 hours! We were one of the first to have our roof done in the neighborhood. We were so pleased with work they had done on the roof we decided to hire them for the windows, siding and gutters. Everything was highly coordinated and went as smooth as possible. I am a very picky/high maintenance person when it comes to work being done to my home, cars, etc. I usually do most things myself. They had there work cut out for them. Kearns Brothers exceeded all expectations in quality, customer service and reliability. Most of the questions I had would be addressed without me having to ask and there were a lot of little things done that showed they were going the extra mile. All of the exterior lights I purchased were installed by the siding crew without me having to ask. When I had to replace my deck at a later date they came out to make some siding modifications at no charge. These are just a couple examples. During all of the work the Mike Kearns kept me updated on everything going on. I kept a close eye on all of the work and did not have 1 issue. That is quite impressive for the scope of work that was performed. There has been follow up for the past year on Kearns part. They have proven they care about their clients. I have not had 1 call back in the year that has past. I would not only recommend them for the work they do but how they do it. Great company that really understands people. Thanks Kearns.

I contacted Mike Wall ,an employe of Kearns Brothers for an estimate.. Within one day he had called back and set up a time that was good for me.Whitin an hour of Mike's arrival, I knew everything I needed to know about roofing and who should get the job! I had contacted one of those "big box stores", you know the one with a commerical on TV every ten minutes, what a mistake! I had to call the main office when my salesperson didn't answer my call,. they didn't have any idea of who I was. In less than week or so ,Kearn's delivered the supplies bright and early (about (7:00 am). The crew arrived at 8:00 sharp and started to protect everything with tarps The large crew hit the roof..Just my luck, a large thunderstorm was heading in from the west. The crew had to take cover for an hour.As I/we waited ,the Kearn's Brothers office called and said that would be sending out another crew after the rain so that they could finish the job for me! Who does this now days? The other crew arrived and everything was done by 3:30, clean up and out of the drive. What a GREAT job! Hard to believe but there's more.I just sold my home at the end of February and told the new owner their was a transferable warranty,but the transfer fee was $250 ( I think) Just for the heck of it I called Mike Wall at Kearn's to see if he could help out. Mike checked the dates and said since it had been a few months since the job had be completed he'd waive all fees.Again who does this any more?? My only regret, waiting this long to write the review.

The work men for the insulation work were polite, got right to work, and cleaned up after themselves. They had us look at the work after it was done. The cost of heating the home is much less this winter. We saw the completed gutter and downspout work after it was done. You couldn't tell anyone had been there, except for the completed work. They work well, match the color of the house, and the installation was done correctly and as described. We highly recommend Kearns Brothers for this work, even if the cost was above the price of other estimates.

Kearns Bros. came out promptly and did the work on my roof in one day. Everyone involved was polite and professional. They were able to locate the source of the leak, tore off old materials and replaced with new materials. The clean up around the work area and the surrounding yard was perfect. Knowing that they provide a lifetime warranty on their workmanship is very reassuring me. Finally I can stop worrying every time it rains! I was becoming desperate over having had two other companies work on the problem and not getting results, but Kearns Bros. were by far the most professional company I dealt with over this problem and they got the job done. Not just got the job done but in a way that was prompt, professional, and courteous! I would highly recommend this company.

Kearns did an excellent job start to finish. The quote was competitive and the job was completed in a very timely manner. Together we set the date and they arrived on that date. The crew was very professional and did a great job in communicating the status of the job. It took 2 days and they arrived early on the second day to finish the work. The roof is the best looking in the subdivision. I am very pleased with the job. If I had to do it all over again, the only thing I would do different is I would have discussed where it would have been best for them to access the roof. During the roofing process, a few perennial flowers were trampled but within a month they had all regrown. The way the house is landscaped, there was no avoiding a few trampled flowers .. I just would have preferred to pick the location. Not a big deal since the flowers cam back quickly.

We contacted Gary Holm at Kearns, and he came right out, sat down with us, and discussed the options available to us. He answered all of our questions, and helped us pick out the right shingle for our needs. They then gave us multiple homes in our area to drive past in order to pick out the color that best fit our brick color. They scheduled us for a work date for the roof, and a separate date for replacing the windows. They did the work on the dates that they had promised, and completed the jobs timely and professionally. They also did a wonderful job cleaning up after the work was complete. From the person who answers the phones, all the way to Gary and Mike Kearns, this company is courteous, professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. The quality of their work is second to none, and we would strongly recommend them to anyone wanting work done right, by individuals who are accountable and who take pride in their work!!

We had Kearns Brothers put a new roof on our home back in 2010, and were very happy with the quality of the materials, the work, and value received for the price paid. They weren't the cheapeast, but the quality of the materials they used and the professionalism of their salesman and work crew was well worth it. Many neighbors have had roofs replaced in recent years, and it takes days or sometimes more than a week. We have an architectural (i.e., steep) roof, with lots of valleys, and they got everything done in one day and it looks great! It was because of this experience that we included Kearns on the list of contractors we had quote new siding last summer (2012). We received 5 quotes. There was a really wide range of prices (the highest bid was twice as much as the lowest), and Kearns wasn't the cheapest, but still very competitive, we chose them because of our past experience. Their salesman, Michael Baker, took the time to help us pick siding and trim colors, and he recommended some things for our project that we hadn't thought of (a different way to trim around some of our windows). There were a few delays in start date due to material availability, but Michael kept us in the loop and worked with us to accomodate our vacation schedule and our painter's schedule: delivering all the trim material a week early so our painter could paint the trim boards ahead of time which saved us money. It took the better part of a week for them to complete the project, which was what I expected, and they completely cleaned up the job site every day, and were back again the next morning until it was all done. Another thing that impressed me was that they had someone from the siding manufacturer out to consult on the best way to handle a few unusual areas, and then had them come back to look over everything once the project was completed. When it was all said and done, we were very happy with the work, and had several neighbors compliment us on the results.

I had the pleasure of working with Brendon Brownfield from Kearns Brothers, Inc. , while searching for the best roof replacement . Although they did not have the lowest bid, the service provided was where the true value was. Everything Brendon said would be done, was. In my opinion if you are looking for a roof that will true stand the test of time, spend the money once and call Kearns.

After finding some roof issues on the house we had just puchased a couple months earlier we called Kearns Brothers to come out and evaluate the situation.Michael Baker a Kearns Brothers sales rep. called and said he would be out the next day to do a complete roof inspection.After Michael did the inspection he went back and worked up a quote for us.The next night at 7:00 pm after I got home from work Michael came out and went over everything that he found.Michael had even taken a video for us to see everything that he found while up on the roof and in the attic.After Michael explained everything to us and all of our options we decided to have Kearns Brothers do a roof tearoff and new roof installation, Before doing the roof the crew removed a fireplace stack going thru the roof that we did not want. They later sent a painter to patch the drywall and repaint the ceiling.After he was done you could not tell there was a hole there before.On the morning of the roof replacement several workers showed up and they had the old roof ripped off in 2 hours.Three hours later Michael was sending me photos of the new roof to my work e-mail.The workers did a good job of cleaning up after they were done. This is when the last worker leaving our backyard left the gate open.Not knowing this my girlfriend let our dog out in the backyard.After about 20 minutes she went to let the dog in and found out the dog had wondered out of our yard and was nowhere to be found.Long story short the dog got into some chicken bones down the street and got one lodged in the back of her throat.After she came home we had to rush her to the vet.Michael called after learning of this and stated that Kearns Brothers would pick up the vet bill witch was 368.00.I think that speaks very highly of Kearns Brothers.While Michael was doing the inspection in the attic he recommended we blow in some more insulation to bring it up to R-49 value. The crew that came out to do the insulation was very good and cleaned up after they were done.After we had the roof and upper trim done we decided to have the trim around the windows and doors done also. Dave and the crew that did the trim,soffit and siding were also very good.After removing the old aluminum trim around the front picture window there were some wood issues and they brought out some new wood and replaced it all before putting the new trim on.The crew that did the gutters and gutter guards also did a good job,We are very happy with everything that Kearns Brothers did to our house and garage.Throughout the whole time of doing all of this work Michael Baker was in touch with us to make sure everything was going well and on schedule.Michael would also visit our house on the days that the workers were there doing work to see if they needed anything or if they were having any issues,If you needed to get ahold of Michael you just had to call Kearns Brothers and if he was not in the office they paged him and he would call you back shortly there after.We our going to have some mortar work done in the spring and I will call Kearns Brothers to do that also.

I had my roof, siding, gutters, and windows replaced by Kearns Brothers. After visiting with the salesperson, I could see that their products, crews, and installation practices were superior to other companies that I got quotes from. The crews were extremely clean, polite, and professional throughout all phases of the work. After seeing the crews in action, it is obvious why the people that referred me consider Kearns to be superior and trustworthy. The salesperson made us feel completely comfortable with the whole process, and was always there to answer questions and to make sure the work was done to our satisfaction. He also helped us with the rebate information for our windows which was nice. Its all of the little things that really set them apart from other companies. .In the spring of 2012 I met with Rudy ,the Kearns Bros. sales rep,to see if our roof needed replacement.It was determined that the roof had some problems developing but that a new roof could wait until the fall.In August we met again and at that time an estimate was prepared by Rudy .He explained the GAF roofing system they used and we discussed the different shingle options available. After reviewing the estimate and the materials Rudy provided,I decided to go with Kearns Brothers.I had received two other estimtes for the roof replacement. I chose Kearns for the following reasons: * References provided all gave positive comments concerning their roofing jobs *I liked the concept of the GAF roofing system they used *I liked the fact that they used their own workers and not contract workers When it came time to complete the job the crew showed up at the time that was scheduled.They did the necessary prep work and were soon fast at work replacing the roof.It was scheduled to be a two day job but they completed the roofing and clean up in just one day.We were happy about that.We were very pleased with the work done by Kearns Brothers and would recommend them and use them for future work.

I called Chuck Saltmarche, the Kearns Brothers representative, on the recommendations of two of my neighbors who had used his company to replace their roofs for an estimate. Mr. Saltmarche returned my call in less than one hour from the time a message was left for him and made an appointment to come out the next day. He arrived on time for our appointment and took all the time I needed to explain what was needed to replace my roof and showed me all the material options that were available to me. I had my estimate in less than 48 hours. I had received some other estimates that were several thousand dollars cheaper so I called Chuck and asked him to review the other estimates with me so I could understand the price difference. During our price review meeting, Chuck never down graded his competion. He only stated the differences in material used by Kearns Brothers and the reliabllity of the company. He took the time to carefully explain why using the more expensive material would be a better long term choice for my home. After he left, I went and talked to my neighbors who had worked with Chuck and Kearns Brothers. They both agreed that the level of service and attention they recived was well worth not going with the lowest bidder. During the actual roofing, Chuck was on site each day and made sure I knew who the crew leader was and called several time to make sure things had gone well on each work day. I would recommend Kearns Brothers, Inc. to any one needing a new roof.

Kearns Brothers was amazing. They were the most profesional of the three quotes we received. Gary Holm was punctual, friendly and professsional. He stayed in touch from our first call, through the estimate, and until the job was completed. The day of the replacement was very smooth. A huge team showed up and completed the job in a single day. They were very careful with our house by protecting windows and shrubs, they worked very hard until after 8 pm to complete the job, and the clean-up process was very meticulous. I could not have been more pleased with my choice of Kearns Brothers. We had roof damage after the second winter where some shingles were blown off in a bitter storm. After one call to Gary we had a repair crew out to the house to inspect the damage and make the necessary repairs. I recommend Kearns Brothers as one of the best home repair professional firms with whom I've ever done business.

We got our roof, siding, chimney, windows, and gutters all done with Kearns. We couldn't have asked for a better team. Everything was done in a timely manner. Everything looks wonderful. We are so happy choosing Kearns. Highly recommended. Great pricing and no complaints!

We had salesman come out and give us a quote for replacing our roof. We appreciated that the salesman was not pushy (unlike another company that came out and wanted us to sign their estimate immediately). We liked the quality of their products so we went ahead with their bid for roofing. We have had no problems with the new roof and were pleased with their work. We were surprised that their rating was only a B on Angie's List when the previous roofer we used had an A rating and we had nothing but problems with that company. (Our previous roof was installed over 25 years ago so hopefully the other roofing company has improved their work.)
