 + -1 moreThe tech called to confirm arrival and arrived during the arranged time. The tech looked at my garage door and told me I had a very old door. That is true, it is old. He said that he didn't see this type of door very often, may be once every 5 months. He told me that it would need more than a couple of screws. He then went outside looked at it and then came back in and said he couldn't fix it. His appearance was not professional, his demeanor was not professional, in fact bordered on hostile. When I attempted to write a check he said they did not take checks. I called the company and the woman who answered the phone said they did not take checks, she didn't know who told me they did. The whole experience was a total waste of time and $29. I would not call this company again and now I'm skeptical about the recommendations on Angie's List.
Description of Work: The bracket for my garage door was broken. I needed the bracket replaced. When I made the call for service the person who answered did not ask any details about my door or what the problem was or what type of door I have. She told me there would be a $29 service charge. I asked if I could pay by check, she said yes.

Description of Work: My garage door was off track and the owner himself came out and worked on the dorr and within a hour I was back in business. I am a faithful user of my garage and being with out it was hard to adjust to. How did we make do with garages before the wonderful openers. LOL I sure don't want to have to do without it.

Description of Work: I used him in an emergency after hitting the garage with my vehicle. He was able to repair, rather than replace the door. His cost was very reasonable and he didn't take advantage of the situation. I used him a second time a few years later.

Description of Work: Replaced a broken spring and also the other which was old but not yet broken; cleaned up and lubricated all working parts; installed a handle so that the door can be opened much more easily.
