Beacon was very prompt in calling me back, scheduling, and sending a list of items to clean at the house. The cleaners arrived on time and were very friendly and professional. They got right to work and worked efficiently and thoroughly. We did a walk through together and caught a few spots here an there that needed attention, but they hit everything I requested before leaving. They did a wonderful job with my windows and blinds. It was so wonderful to come home to a clean house!

I called Chris last minute and needed a deep cleaning because I had last minute company coming in town. She was very nice and professional, she was a pleasure to talk to. Anyway she sent out 2 ppl that were very nice and professional they said they go to college at Western. and clean up there too I couldn't believe what a good job they did , they got stains of my counter that have been there for years. I have 5 cats and there was alot of hair on my furniture that they cleaned. My bathrooms sparkled and kitchen smelled great. They are hard workers you should be proud of them. I will use them again. The bathrooms upstairs did not look like they had been touched. There was still mildew in the shower, pee on the floors and the house did not smell like it had been cleaned. When I came home to inspect I insisted that hey clean the bathroom stall again and told the owner I would not pay for the extra time. The house was complete free of clutter and should have been able to be cleaned completely by two cleaners in 3 hoursThe staff was two college students, very nice and personable but would not pay to have this service again as I can do what they did and save myself $195. Very disappointed and the unhappy.

I had them clean my vacant house. Nobody was there to watch them. When I came to inspect the work, hardly anything was done. I was expecting 6 hours of ?deep cleaning? on my 1000 square foot home, two people for 3 hours or 360 minutes of work out of both of them total. I know how long in takes to clean the house as I have cleaned it myself for 11 years so I knew something was fishy. I itemized all the work that had been done and it added up to 139 minutes. I was generous with my estimates. The owner said the girls actually stayed over (3.5 hrs.). If they were there that long, they were not cleaning. Then she owner said she would come over and rectify the situation but I itemized her work and only logged another 30 minutes. So total 169 out of 360 had now been done. I asked the owner to itemize the work on her own to show that 360 minutes that I paid for had not been done but she refused. The owner told me she found one little spot on the door to magic erase but the whole door had magic erase marks on it. How is that possible. She told me the walls would not come clean with the magic eraser but there was only one little spot on the wall that had eraser marks on it. hmmm. I later did all the walls myself and they came clean. She would not acknowledge only 169 minutes of work was done out of 360 I paid for. I proposed I pay for 169 minutes out of 360 but she declined and charged me the full amount. Bottom line is don?t waste your money. Go with A2 Green Clean or L & S QUALITY CLEANING Updated 7/26/13 I have never talked to the employee only to the manager. A previous time I have given the employees very good tips.

First of all I called in the midst of a very busy time but they were able to squeeze me in within several days because I lived in the neighborhood where they people working. I had them come in for 6 hours of deep cleaning and they worked every minute of it. The asked questions rather than guess what I wanted done and then they worked. They didn't ask me how I wanted this or that or how to clean certain things....they knew exactly what they were doing and they went ahead and did it. They changed sheets on bed's and my husband remarked whoever made the bed must have been in the military. So well made and secure that making up the bed in the morning takes seconds instead of having to pick quilts off the floor or having all the covers end up on one side of the bed...small thing, but for someone with limited ability and energy it feels like christmas to be able to do something so simply. If I never have them come again (but I will), I would have them come over just to change the sheets. and make up the beds Excellent and the most thorough job on floors I have ever seen-both carpet and hard floors I couldn't see a single dog hair after they were done and not even in a remote corner. They finished with 15 minutes to spare and asked what else they could do to....they ended up cleaning the landing and stairs to the basement....and they were as clean as everything else. They were polite, cleaned and replaced everything. They didn't cut any corners. I will have them back again. I think they would be excellent to have in once a month. Their rates are reasonable for regular cleaning....and I know things would be CLEAN WELL whether I was home or not when they came.

Ray came to quote the business a few weeks prior to the date of service. The date of service was important because I was having furniture delivered that evening, and planning to put my house on the market for sale in the coming weekend. The floor looked better than OK prior to Ray's efforts, but I wanted it to look great for buyers. Ray said that he had done many floors like mine and it would be no problem. The quoted cost was $225, which is about what I paid the last time it was done. Ray arrived on time, which is the only thing that was done right. He started in the family room, and but whatever solvent he was using was not stripping the previous wax well (after he left I called the company that did the previous waxing and he confirmed they used "standard-nothing-special" floor wax). Next Ray starting calling people he new to try to get advise. He had a couple different buffer pads but didn't know if the roughest one was safe for my floor. He called someone, and that person gave him the name of someone else to call. That person, a total stranger, told Ray that the courser pad was fine. So Ray applied the solvent waited and then tried the rougher pad...with no improvement in results. At that point he started making excuses..."I've never had a problem with a floor like this"..."the stripper always works"... He gave me the name and number of person of someone else who apparently knows more than Ray and then he packed up his equipment and left. The result is that my house is now unmarketable because of the room that is half done. Furthermore, I'm probably going to have to invest in a much more expensive project to fix what Ray messed up. This will cost me $3,000 at a minimum and potentially hundreds of thousands of dollars in opportunity cost for not being able to put my house on the market until someone can come and fix the mess. There is a month wait for a supplier that can come fix it. I would recommend avoiding this company for any and all services.

Very pleased; staff were on time, asked good questions about what I wanted done and whether I had a preferences on how it was to be done. Very pleased with their efforts.

The owner was able to get me a next day appointment as she had a cancellation, which was greatly appreciated by me. The ladies were prompt and brought their own equipment.. All three ladies I dealt with were very courteous and professional. I had the ladies exclude the 3 bedrooms, and everything else was to be cleaned. I checked on their progress periodically. In the main bathroom, the floor and tub were done well, as was the sink. The full length mirror was not done and neither was the window sill or the tops of the cabinets for dust. Also, there was dirt on the walls which was not attempted to be cleaned. I did ask her to go back for that and she did, except for the wall, which remain dirty. The half bath was not touched at all, and unfortunately I forgot to double check that room, so it remained not done. In the kitchen, there were cobwebs left in the corners, which I had to ask to be removed, and after pointing this out, only a few of them were cleaned. Also the refrigerator top was not dusted nor the dirty door handle, which I again had to ask to do. None of the furniture was moved for vacuuming, which I would have been happy to do if they had asked. The corners and baseboards were either not done or not done well and I had again to ask them to redo it. This contract was for 3 hours, and at 2 hours and 15 minutes they said they were done. I did at that point ask them to redo the above mentioned areas, and also asked them to sweep out my laundry room as best they could. They did a bit of the center of the floor and that was it, no corners at all. All along I got the feeling they had one foot out the door, and I didn't want to keep having to ask them to redo stuff, so I let them go 30 minutes early, so that was my fault. For me, this was advertised as a deep cleaning, and I don't consider what they attempted a deep cleaning in any sense of the word... it is what I would routinely do for myself if I weren't recovering from hip surgery. The ladies, to their credit, were very nice and did ask several times if there was anything else, but I did get the sense they were headed for the door as quickly as they could, and I am not an aggressive person to keep after someone like that, so I just let them go. I gave them overall a C grade, but I would characterize it as more a C+ or B- overall, but those options are not there for me. And I just couldn't give them a B. Would I repeat with this company for this service? Probably not, at least not for the money I spent.

The girls did an amazing job! My house looked perfect after they left. They arrived on time, followed my directions and finished on time. The quality of their work is exceptional! Additionally, on a personal level, they were friendly and nice, but not chatty or nosy - just did their job and made you feel great about it! Fantastic!

I contacted on them for an estimate via a form on their website. They responded within 12 hours, apologizing for not providing service in my area.

They do a consistent and good job. Very professional and timely, saving me a lot of hassle. I would like it if just a little more thorough (for example on wiping down blinds and cleaning tile or hardwood floors). Still highly recommended and very minor things I spotted that should not be a problem. I recommend their recurring services.

Overall, I will hire them again, in hopes that they would use adequate supplies.

When I called Beacon Cleaning and First spoke with Chris one of the owners who was very nice. She told me her husband ray handles the hauling who was very nice and easy to work with. We talked about different options and he mentioned that he donates any items that are still in good shape to Good will and Salvation army. That sounds good to me since I didn't want to just throw these items out but I didn't want them here either. My schedule is not as flexible as I would of liked but Ray was great with working with me on that. He and another guy came out on an early Sat Morning and loaded everything up - He has one of those dump trucks and it filled it. So I was surprised he only charged me $150 so of course I tipped them both. I was so excited to have my basement back lol. Thanks guys I will have you out soon to power wash my driveway.

Very responsive and do a great job.

There were a few areas that I'm going to have them concentrate on in the future: Cleaning under the couches and chair in the living room - hardwood floors show a lot more dirt and dust. The showers in the bathrooms could have been cleaner - hair in the drain, cleaner left on the shower walls. Ceiling fan blades were cleaned, but the globes still had spider webs on them. The den evidently got overlooked when they dusted.

.I purchased a deal on Angie's List for 6 hours of heavy housecleaning. I contacted Beacon Cleaning Service via e-mail to set up an appt. The manager, Chris (sp?) responded within a few hours. I explained I would have a list prepared of what I wanted done and we set up a day and time for the cleaning service to be performed. The two ladies arrived promptly and after looking over my list divided up the work between them and got down to cleaning. They completed all of the items on my list to my satisfaction. The manager followed up to find out whether the work was done to my satisfaction--it was. I would like to note I would rate them as "Very Good" and would use Beacon Cleaning Service in the future.

Chrissy was great, very efficient and energetic. She handled everything quickly and efficiently. I was very pleased with her work ethic.

They were very flexible and happy to stay the extra time. The housewas immaculate. I am getting ready to sell my home and was thrilled with the job they did. I have since signed up for weekly cleanings.

I honestly was expecting to have to go behind them and touch up when I got home. However, I was pleasantly surprised. The girls did a fabulous job. They did everything I asked them to and the house looks great. They did a better job that I could have done! I wouldn't hesitant to use this company again in the future and I would specifcally ask for these two girls.

.They began working for us in February and have worked very well with us in establishing a routine and rotating schedule to regularly cover areas that might otherwise be overlooked. They have been cooperative of using green cleaning products to help protect some of the surfaces in our historic building and are thorough. They have provided backup staff for days when the regular housekeepers are not able to come in, so we have not had any issues with attendance. They have provided additional services for cleanup of some areas of the house that are being repaired and reorganized. It is early to tell how well they will continue to do over an extended period of time, but so far we feel very positive about working with them and are hoping to contract with them on a long-term basis. This property has been an expansion of services for them from what I understand due to the daily and weekly demands of keeping up a large residential property. They have adapted their cleaning processes very well to our needs, been very helpful in determining overall needs and have provided consistency in the quality of their services.

I was at mom's home the first visit, I wanted to meet the ladies cleaning her house. They were great. Then her cleaning day was change from Saturday to Thursday so different ladies showed up. I don't want her letting just anyone in her house. They showed up a couple of more times then just disappeared. I never heard from them again. One one visit the ladies were in a car accident and I had to call the office when they were late. Another visit, they were late becasue the couldn't find the house. I think they only cleaned for her four times. So needless to say, I was not impressed with the company at all. There was no follow through from the boss.

Decided I wanted to hire someone to spring clean on a general basis. Checked Angie's List as usual, and contacted Beacon for more detailed info. Spoke directly with Chris the owner, and she was able to schedule a cleaning for Saturday for the 3 hr. special of 195.00 The ladies arrived loaded down with all sorts of cleaning products and equipment. I opted to use some of my products and some of theirs. Lisa was the head cleaner and Corine was in training. Lisa had me give them the walk through, describing what I was interested in having accomplished in the 3 hours. Once that was done, both set to work. I was tired just watching them! In fact, I insisted they both take a break after a while which neither wanted to do but eventually they did relax a couple of minutes....probably because I was so insistent and they just needed to shut me up. I believe that breaks, overall, help keep the momentum going. At the end of the 3 hrs., I had a house that smelled really good (hubby even commented on the nice smell!) and I felt like I now had a really good jump on the spring cleaning. Obviously, 3 hrs. Isn't going to completely spring clean a 2400 ft. House that I have sorta neglected but it was a darn good start. I just set my priorities and whatever was left over, I could focus on those jobs myself. I will definitely contact Beacon in the future for other cleaning options. Good job by Lisa and Corine!
