Description of Work: I have a rental that was vacant and needed it cleaned so I could rent it out. I join Angie's list to locate the right person for this job. There I found Beacon Cleaning Services. The reviews were outstanding. I spoke with Christine (a.k.a. Sting- Ray Cleaning Services) to make an appointment, asap .The services were performed on October 9, 2012. Initially, there was a problem locating the home, so they were a little late but that was ok. I live out of state so I had my sister meet the cleaners vat the property. She informed me that one maid cleaned the bathroom for an hour while the other maid concentrated her entire time cleaning the kitchen. I spoke with Christine several times over the telephone from the property. She contact me when they had ompleted the job and I gave her my credit card information. I assumed everything was 'spin and span'. Well, needless to say, it wasn't. I was unable to make the trip to Detroit until recently, 11-29-2012, Upon my visit to the property, I was very upset to find the condition of the kitchen and bathroom not acceptable. The kitchen faucet had crude wrap around it, sink with grease build-up inside, under the sink cabinets were not cleaned and the front of the cabinets weren't not even wiped. And the bath was just as bad........under toilet not cleaned and medicine cabinet was never touched........and I actually paid for this. The property could have used a deep cleaning but they didn't do a good light one. Very, Very disappointed.

Description of Work: Melissa and Angela from Beacon Cleaning arrived on-time and spent every minute of the 3 hours they were at my home working hard--and it shows!! I am extremely happy with the work that they did to help get our house back in order after a very hectic summer of combining an elderly parent's household into ours. I would/will definitely schedule them to work with me again. Thank you, Beacon, for improving my outlook and giving me some greatly-needed free-time to spend on family, instead of scrubbing!

Description of Work: This service was was overpriced. I paid $95 for an hour and a half for cleaning that was the bare minimum. When I specified tasks they were not completed to my liking. Also, I provided my vacuum which they neglected to empty before use which resulted in some internal problems in our brand new dyson. Time availability was also an issue.

Description of Work: We were moving into a new house and wanted to have it "deep cleaned" before we moved in. (The prior owners had several small children.) The team arrived promptly, had a great attitude, and managed to clean even more than we expected. A completely positive experience, and we will be hiring them again!

Description of Work: This company came to my hom, gave me an estimate for my floor.. I had to call them twice.they never came back like they said they would. Not VERY RELIAVLE. I WOULD NOT REFER THEM TO ANYONE IT DID NOT GO WELL AT ALL. THEY SAID THAT THEY WOULD CALL AND GIVE ME A TIME THAT THEY WOULD COME OUT. THEY DID NOT. I HAD TO CALL A SECOND TIME. THE WIFE SAID THEY WOULD CALL ME IN ONE HOUR. IT HAS BEEN AT LEAST 3 DAYS AND I STILL HAVE NOT HEARD FROM THIS COMPANY.

Description of Work: Received an estimate within 24 hours of request. House was cleaned 48hrs later by 2 amazing young ladies. They were prompt, professional and did a great job for the first time deep cleaning. They went around and we discussed what was a priority and they made sure to get those. Even saw something that looked important and handled it, after bringing to my attention, though we hadn't discussed it early on. They updated me to let me know what they couldn't get to, which wasn't much, (lowest priorities). We went around together afterwards to make sure all was to my satisfaction. I will use this service again, and will request these ladies as well. Working with Chris to get this scheduled was delightful. She was able to get me in earlier due to a cancellation. Very pleased!

Description of Work: I called and talked to a man who promised to have the woman call. I have never heard from anyone...
