B & D Cleaning

There were 6 people in the house for 2 hours, which is too many people. I didn't see the difference that the 6 workers made when I got back. I wouldn't recommend them. I'm not quite sure what they wanted. I would not use them again. I'm not trying to put them out of business but I think two cleaners are enough.

Well a year went by and I asked Mother if she ever called the cleaning service. She said no she had forgotten about it after my Father had passed away. So I called them shortly before Thanksgiving. I must have called like 5 times before I finally got someone. They said this was their busy season and they couldn't come out this week, call again next week. So I called next week and set an appointment for Friday. Well they called my on Friday and said they couldn't make it out , would next Tuesday work ? At first I agreed but later my Mother told me she was having visitors on Saturday, so she would prefer if they could still make it. I called them back and they said they would make it but it would be later. Well they did not show up on Friday. And when I called them on Monday to see if they could come out on that Tuesday, I did not get an answer on their telephone service. I have since tried every day for the past two weeks but have been unable to get a hold of them. Some service, take the money and run!!!!!! .

Communication was a struggle. At first I sent messages thru Angie's List and reply time was long. I then called direct and was able to schedule appointments. The first appointment was cancelled last minute due to staff illness. The second appointment she was due at the hose in the afternoon cause I was out in the morning. When I got home there was a voice mail stating that their other a.m. appointments had cancelled and they were just waiting to clean my house could they come sooner. I returned the call when I got home but got no answer. I left a message and have not heard from them since.

I ended up having it refunded because I had to reschedule a bunch of times. However, they were professional when I communicated with them by email.

They never called or set a appointment. I tried to calling them but nobody answered. And I paid 99$ for the coupon that never been used. And I would like to be refunded for this money.

I purchased a big deal house cleaning. The provider then contacted me by email and stated the he would not service my house, because the distance from his work location was too far. After 4 weeks, my $99 fee was refunded by Angie's List.

They were OK, thought given there were four our five of them that they could have gotten more done in the time allotted. Missed some basic things in the kitchen, like cleaning on top of the refrigerator.

The service was okay, they did a fine job and it's pretty much of a basic cleaning. There's this 2 men and they came in and they're here for about 2 or 4 hours each.

All in all, it went quite well. I had never had anyone professionally clean my home, so I did not know what to expect. Two young ladies showed up with all their own cleaning supplies. They were very personable. My stove was gleaming, but other areas of the kitchen were missed. A super job was done in the bathroom. Then they used my floor cleaning machine and washed the floors in the kitchen, dining room and hall. This is what was done in two hours.

I called them a couple of times. I did speak with someone once and left voice mails, but they have not got back to me yet. They did say that they only have regularly two cleaners so I assumed that they may be backed up.

I have messages with B and D but I'm waiting for a call back as to what dates are available to come out! I sent another message today reminding them to let me know! Thanks!!! Girls (3) were prompt, friendly, and had all supplies. I only wanted certain things done in the kitchen, living and family room. I went over this with the girls. After they left I noticed a few things that weren't done that I had requested to be done. I would like to recommend that the girls have a notebook and write down each item/area the customer requested to clean - this way they can divide the work and each girl would know each job she had and then everything requested would be completed. Otherwise, very nice girls and enjoyed having them over!

Canceled three times. Extremely inconvenient.

The service was okay. There was a mix up because we were out of the range of their services so there were some communication issues, but that was not on my end. When we finally got the service they did a good job and provided the service they advertised. The advice I would give them would be to make sure in the future that they make clear whatever restrictions they have in their service areas. Initially that was not clear, but since that time I think they have gone online to specify the areas where they do service. Their pricing and quality was fine, but they don't service my area.

In our early contacts, I mentioned I wanted my bathroom and ovens cleaned. When they arrived, I was informed they do not clean ovens as part of this package. We had 2.5 baths cleaned and the kitchen counters by 3 people in 1.5 hours - it is my assessment that they could have accomplished a lot more during this time.

They did an excellent job, and I will definately use them again in the future.

They did a good job. They used their own supplies. They were busy with the deal, so it took a little while to be scheduled.

The service went excellent. The only issue was the scheduling portion. Once we overcame that issue; it went perfectly. I am sure that weather and timing were factors in that issue. The crew consisted of the manager, Bobie, and her 2 assistants. All superb in what they do and knowledgeable about the tasks at hand. We are happy to have them as part of our repeat provider list. On Jan 4 we purchased the deal and at first the service provider called, and we missed it because I was in the restroom. We immediately called back but there was no option of leaving a voice-mail or even calling them back. Then, week passed by there was no contact from the provider. I eventually wrote them a message to call me or set up the appointment for as soon as possible. They emailed me that I can text them and let them know when is the best time for us. I did and they were not available for any of the dates. They were only available after Jan 20. Even though the date given by them did not work out for me, but since I really needed the cleaning I told them to confirm the deal and send the information at what time they will come. Then a week passed by again and we heard no response from them. Then I text ed them again to please confirm my appointment and tell me the time otherwise refund my money. There response came immediately at this message and they said,"call Angie's list for refund." So now I am contacting Angie's list for a refund. Thanks.

It went fine. I wasn't even here when they came...my mom was but they did a good job.

They did a nice job and were friendly. I would use them again.

Bobbi, Jodi and Jamie were very nice and did about as well as can be expected. These rooms were very bad with lots of grease. They stayed longer because they couldn't finish in the pkg time frame. I appreciated the flexibility. They missed a few smallish things but overall a really good job. Also, like I said they were very nice under difficult circumstances.

The number one problem was arranging a time to do this job - it took over three months. Now I suspect the company will say we, the customers, were the problem...and there might be some truth to that. But the bottom line was we purchased this "deal" in late August and the job was not completed until December 9. This was a huge issue for us. Regarding the quality of the cleaning, I thought it was fine. We asked them to clean our basement. I felt they did a good job with that effort and they had time to do some of our bathrooms.

I'm very disappointed. I have a bad back and needed help cleaning my house before Christmas. B&D Cleaning notified me that they were unable to schedule me before Christmas. I feel that this kind of deal should not be offered without giving the customer a heads up about the timing issues. Especially when it's two weeks before Christmas.

Offer was for 4 hours of cleaning, purchased on 11/12/2013. When purchased I was asked to give 3 dates for service, I gave 11/22, 11/29, 12/6 and that I would be contacted to confirm. Then on 12/8 I received a message (was using Angie's List for messages) asking if the week of the ninth was OK. I responded that is was fine and to give me a day and time. I did not hear anything until I messaged again 12/14 or 12/15 asking what happened to the week of the ninth. The response was they were very busy and to call. We messaged back and forth, I thought it was settled on Friday 12/20 between 1-2 then saw another message that they filled the spot. After getting this message I finally called on 12/20 . The excuse was they are a small company and I did not call so it was my fault.. I see they are running more specials for cleaning. I would not recommend purchasing until you have a firm date for service. Their work was average, considering my house was filthy and messy they did OK.
