Description of Work: Gave us an estimate and showed us some work he did with other people. We agreed on a price and a window timeline.

Description of Work: I gave sam my money on or around May 5, 2014 for cement work at our house. After three weeks and no contact I started to call to ask when he would be performing the work. He never answered my calls and his voice mail was always full. He did answer when I used a phone with a number that he did not recognize. He told me he would look at his schedule and get back to me. After a week of hearing nothing from him, my husband got him to answer a text message. He indicated that he would give us a refund of our deposit or do the work on June 22. We told him just give us our money back. June 22 came and went. We still did not hear from him. I contacted him again, this time his voice mail was not full, and I left a message stating that I would contact the local media about him if I did not receive my deposit. He returned my call with a nasty voice mail stating that I need to learn "contract law," and that I would not get my deposit back. That was the last contact we had with Sam...
