Description of Work: Our front porch has received many compliments, but satisfaction was hard won. Found out the project manager assigned to us was fairly inexperienced. One of their more experienced workmen (Mike), who was committed to customer satisfaction and esthetics, made all the difference with regard to the end result.

Description of Work: Vinyl siding. The crew was very friendly and professional. They added features around the windows to give the house a real nice curb appeal. I only found a couple small details I wanted done a different way and they came out and made the adjustments at no extra cost. All work was done in the time frame they had quoted. I would recommend them and am considering them for for a basement re-furn as well.

Description of Work: Installed banister. Craftsmanship, fair. Punctuality, poor. Communication worse. Banister installed was not materials or design contracted. Small discount (12.5%) was given, however we are dissatisfied with the process and the product.

Description of Work: They built a garage in the neighborhood so I called for an estimate. The guy came out, talked, gave me a verbal 30K for the structure plus concrete then never heard another thing, no call, no estimate. 2 out of 5 contractors showed up, ended up with one quote and very happy with the results.

Description of Work: Called for a quote on a small remodel. Had an issue the first time that they attempted to come. I had asked for a Saturday morning and they said they would check availability and call back. Did not hear from them so we scheduled something else. Got a call Sat morning saying they were on their way. Told them they never confirmed, and we had alternate plans so we needed to rescedule. | |Made alternate arrangements and they came and looked over job. Architect was nice and said quote would be available the next day. It took two weeks and several unanswered phone calls and emails to finally get quote. Quote was a bit higher than the other contractor that quoted job. Other contractor was super reponsive so we went with him.

Description of Work: We have scheduled the work for Spring, 2015. Italy American was the most thorough and responsive contractor in providing us with a quote - some never returned our calls and others simply left a note on our door without discussion or any other follow up. While we definitely sought other quotes for pricing, reputation and workmanship, Italy American stayed in contact with us and their initial quote was the most competitive in the end.

Description of Work: I MOVED MY 96 YEAR OLD "MOM" IN WITH MY HUSBAND & I. WE DIDN'T HAVE ADEQUATE BATHROOM TO ALLOW FOR THREE PEOPLE IN A HOME (AT NIGHT). ITALY UTILIZED THE EXISTING CLOSET SPACE AND A PORTION OF ITS BEDROOM, TO ADD A HALF BATH. EACH TRADESMAN WERE SO NEAT, TIMELY, AND CONSIDERATE OF OUR SCHEDULES AND LIVING SPACE. THEY CAME WHEN THEY SAID THEY'D COME, THEY DID WHAT WE AGREED UPON. WE WEREN'T HOUNDED FOR PAYMENTS, EVEN THOUGH A PAYMENT SCHEDULE WAS WRITTEN IN THE ORIGINAL CONTRACT AGREEMENT. THE SITE SUPERVISOR WAS AVAILABLE WHENEVER I CALLED. AND, FROM THE BEGINNING, THE ARCHITECT/SALESMAN WAS NEVER PUSHY, AND HELPED US COME TO A FABULOUS DESIGN. IT ABSOLUTELY COULDN'T HAVE WORKED OUT, ANY BETTER! I LOVE OUR NEW BATHROOM (AS DOES MY MOM) AND I LOVE ITALY AMERICAN, TOO!

Description of Work: Gave me an estimate for a dormer. They came over an hour early before my husband was home and was kind of patronizing about services, didn't really give an estimate at all, said it would cost $2k to get that from a architect. Basically a waste of time. [Approximate cost: 100000.00]

Description of Work: poured cement for extended driveway and pad, fencing, an built garage to our specifications. Prompt, friendly, and responsive work crew and office staff. Planning on hiring again for next project. Tony was great to work with.

Description of Work: Driveway from the mouth of garage to the rear of house. Break up of concrete and hauled away. Workmen worked steady, were courteous. Cement work was completed in less than 8 hours. 2nd day, a small crew came to finish up and clean up was amazing. We would recommend this company to anyone. Our experience was good.
