Very disappointed and getting angry. We had a 30x60 pole barn poured last October 1st. By the end of November there were cracks everywhere. We reached out to them in November with pictures and explained the issue. We spent a lot of money to have a floor that is cracking that soon. He then told us that is normal, and that it was not structural. We asked to have him come out and inspect the floor. We received no response. The cracks have gotten progressively worse and are now big enough to fit a coin in them. We are trying one last time to reach out and hopefully have this resolved before legal action is needed. At this point I would not recommend them to ANYONE. Also. We opted out of having saw cuts due to the owners opinion. He said the cenemt will crack regardless. The cuts only control where it goes. Thats fine. But we have large cracks that are shifting and they refuse to come at least inspect the work. He is claiming the floor is sound without even seeing it.

We hired Marchbanks Cement works to remove my old driveway, walkway, half of our garage floor (which was sinking badly), and install a new parking turn/around. They did an excellent job. Our property is on a hill, and there were years of settling concrete, and some areas where the old block had crumbled, so there were lots of little thing that needed to be taken care of as a part of this project. Most all of them were handled before they left with just a few small things that we took care of when they were done. There were a few bumps along the way but the Marchbanks family took good care of us and we are very pleased with the results. I highly recommend them to anyone who needs a high quality job done by friendly and courteous contractors.

The owner and crew were timely and courteous. We are very happy with all work performed. They removed the old cement front porch that was covered in slate, which got very slippery when wet. Also several of the slate pieces were popping off due to water getting underneath and then freezing in the winter. The new porch and steps were poured, tinted and stamped to resemble the previous look. A few days later, they returned to stain 'grout' lines to complete the look. Overall we are very satisfied, in fact this is the second job were hired them for. They had poured a back patio at our previous house, which we were also very satisfied with. Obviously or we would not have hired them again. We would not hesitate to recommend them to our family and friends.

Gary Marchbanks performed the work. He poured the first step when it was too cold and did not take the proper steps to insulate it resulting in the concrete falling and ended up not square and hanging over the edge of the walkway. He tried replacing it again at my insistence but not after a personal attack on me and was extremely unprofessional. I was shocked at how he treated me. The second step was poured but it started raining and he knocked a piece of cardboard into the top of it resulting in a gouge and his only remedy again after my insistence was to fill it with epoxy which was not the same color or consistency so looks like an obvious patch job and looks terrible. After measuring the second step, it was clear that it was also not square with a 1/2 inch difference on each side. I am extremely disappointed in the quality of work and professionalism of Gary. He refused to correct the problems even though he knew I was dissatisfied and no longer will answer my emails. I paid him $300 and now I have to hire another contractor to replace the step once again. UPDATE Gary did return a portion of my money which was appreciated.
