Maki's Tree Service

Maki’s tree service did an outstanding job from start to finish, they took down a very large Maple tree in my backyard, cleaned up all the wood chips and graded the soil when they finished. Highly recommended.

Last May they ground up and removed the stump of a pine tree that was blown over. Today they came and removed two box elder trees that were diseased and threatening the electric lines and the house. They used rubber pads to protect the grass. They worked non stop till the job was done. The cleaned up the job site. I will definitely have them come out again if I have more tree problems. Their price was less then the other services I had interviewed and priced the cost of the job.

We used the company back three years before after the storm. The company was very professional and successful. They came in on time, and did a very good job. They did clean up everything very well.

They had a crew of 6 men; all of which were almost continually working in the cold and wet. They cleaned up as best as they could with the snow still on the ground (which left more branches when that melted, but not their fault-). I actually saw one of the guys picking out branches from the broken fence on the side, with clean up! They had one guy up in the trees on a rope, and as mentioned before, all worked together to bring these very large branches down, without causing damage to shed; privacy fence and deck, which all make our yard difficult to maneuver around in. All branches were ground up; Mark was there the whole time, working along with them. The ice storm had done a real number on our patio/yard, and it was amazing to see the whole yard after they were done with their work! They were here easily 4 hours, were polite, hardworking, and I believe everyone of them needs to be proud of the work they did in less than optimal conditions! God bless them; we were very happy with them!

Have used this company twice. They have the equipment and the crew has the know-how to do any kind of tree removal. When removing stumps, they removed any roots that were at ground level. Took away all branches and debris, raked the areas clean. Four of my neighbors used them after seeing what a great job they did.

I have used Maki tree service in the past and the work was done professionally. The more recent estimate I received for tree removal was nearly 4X higher than another service so I went with the lower estimate.

Really well. Mark gave the quote and the work was done a few days after I hired them. They left the amount of wood that I asked for. All the guys were very nice and professional. They came with 4 trucks and a chipper, and the work was fast. They did a great job and told me how long to wait to plant grass, etc. I asked Mark to quote on a couple of other issues in my yard (shrubs and another tree), and will be calling him next month to do those.

They came out within 48hrs. And provided an estimate to cut down and haul away a large limb. Decided to go with someone who was able to take care of it immediately.

Arrived at 8:00 AM with 5 trucks and cherry picker. Crew laid down plywood on lawn to avoid ruts from equipment. After removing the trees and grinding th stumps, the crew thoroughly cleaned the area. Job completed by 10:30 AM

Made appointment for an estimate to have some trees removed. Mark was on time and provided me with the estimate within minutes. Wanted two of the trees quoted removed as soon as possible. He told me they should be able to get them out sometime this week. I told him Mondays would be best for me. He asked if I was going to be around all day and I said I would. He said they could be back later that day to remove them. The crew showed up around 5:45, were very professional and got right to work. They were very delicate in keeping it from rubbing hitting the house and the fence on the other side of the trees. They had them down and completely cleaned the area up all within 45 minutes. I will absolutely have them back to take down the other trees I had quoted.

They gave us an estimate and performed all their work in a very timely fashion. They were courteous and efficient workers.

Everything went great. Mark Maki, his crew and all their equipment arrived right on time Sept. 21. They had big chain saws, a cherry picker and a huge woodchipper. Within 2 hours all my trees, 11 pines and 4 maples were trimmed and cleaned of dead branches. Two trees cut down, weeds trimmed, roof cleaned off and the yard cleaned of all debris. It was fun watching them putting the big branches in that huge woodchipper. Everyone was very kind and professional. I certainly would hire them again.

Their work was responsive, timely and professional. They do primarlily large jobs and mine was relatively very small. However, they handled it with the same respect one should expect and as though I was a much larger client.

They did a very good job. Their prices were more reasonable than the others who gave us estimates for the job. They were quick to come out. They were interested in working with us. They made sure that they did not do any damage to the property. I would use their services in the future.

A neighbor's back yard tree had become extremely intrusive on our house and back yard. The sprawling 100 year old tree with sizeable limbs, had grown to where it was completely blocking any sunlight on the back side of our house and back yard, causing mold. Also, huge tree limbs had broken off over the years causing extensive damage. I spoke to my neighbor about my concerns. I asked her if I could hire a tree service company that would "trim" and "eliminate" some of the troublesome limbs from her tree. She was in total agreement that the tree needed dire attention. I selected Maki's Tree Service from 3 estimates I received from local tree service companies. His estimate was the middle priced one. My reasoning for choosing Maki's was rather simply, he seemed most knowledgeable and he's concern about not damaging either my neighbor property or ours when removing some of the limbs from the tree. Due to rain and bad weather my scheduled appointment time was posponed twice. I was disappointed about the delays but I did understand safey came first. After waiting almost 3 weeks, Mr. Maki and he's crew, of approximately 12 men, 3 heavy duty service trucks, and a commerical size chipper, arrived friday morning at 9:00 a.m. sharp. I watched with amazement as each man worked diligently and accurately with each limb they removed. From the beginning to end the job each man demonstrated their expertise's. Maki's Tree Service did so much more than I thought they would, not 1 flower was distrubed and not 1 small limb was left behind. I now have some sunlight in my backyard and my neighbor still has her 100 year old tree.
