when I called to schedule appointment it was scheduled for the same week. Tom Bennet came out to complete the inspection. Tom was prompt, courteous, and professional.

Steve was very friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable. Before Steve came the system was loud and not running properly and after he was finished it is running great and very quiet. We are very thankful Steve came and now we are ready to face the cold winter months.

Dave S. and Austin showed up at the time they had said they would be here. They were very professional, they checked what needed to be looked at on the furnace, before starting the work replacing the air conditioner outside. They explained what they were doing. Weather was very hot and Austin was doing most of the work in the sun and heat, but he just kept at it and did an excellent job. I had some plants right around there, and had asked them to be as careful as they could, I overheard them mentioning it also while working to be careful. They were finished earlier than the time I was given for them to come out. Steve showed me several things on the furnace and explained them, also told me how to keep the water drain line clean, replaced the filter on the furnace. When installing the thermostat, I was asked what settings I would like it at, they also went over on how to use that programmable thermostat. They cleaned up all the mess and were gone in such a timely fashion, and I was left with a much cooler house. Thanks so much for a job well done.

Our salesman, Dave, was most knowledgeable and helped making our decision easy. Dale and Austin installed our new unit and were prompt, courteous and professional. They left no trace of them having been here, save for the new air conditioner and memories of their smiling faces. During the estimating process Dave explained everything clearly. We understood the cost and value of various products. When Dave left his last words were that everything was included in the price, there would be no additional cost. Scheduling the work was fast. I called on Monday and they were here on Thursday. Andy and Bill worked hard Thursday and Friday. They ensured everything was install correctly. When making install decisions they did what was best for the system and not the easiest for them(they spent allot of time in the hot attic). When they needed assistance they called in other service men. For example the AC unit needed to be lifted over a 6 ft wall, so they called for help and in a short time 4 other guys were at my house hefting the unit over the wall. Due to the location of my furnace and AC it took 2 full days to install. The guys cleaned up between days and after the work The process from a consumers perspective went very smooth. Andy, Bill, Dave and Brian took allot of time to explain the unit and all of its components to me. They answered all of my questions with clear and detailed answers. After installation I was very pleased. The unit does everything I was told it would do. The installation went as it was described prior to start and the price was exactly what was quoted, As Dave said the price included everything that was required to properly heat and cool my home. It went very well. My 30 year old heat pump went out last April timeframe. I used Angies list and had 6 companies provide quotes, most were local to the Howell area. I investigated Geotherm, but determined that was too much for my house $20K - $30K. I also investigated converting to propane - quotes from $14K - $18K, plus getting a propane tank in my yard. All the other 5 companies wanted to quote a whole new furnace system and heat pump, the least expensive system was $10K until Davison came out. They were my last quote, and I was so pleased when they said I only needed the heat pump and air handling system. I even called back a few days later to make sure I was going to be covered. I have had the new system since last July and am very pleased with it The only issue was I let them install it close to my bedroom area outside, and out of the way of my living room view because the installer said it would be very quiet. Well it was an extremely noisy system especially once the heat kicked in. so much so that I called to see if they could move it. At first they wanted to charge me, but then agreed to move it for free, but then we had to wait until after all the snow. So finally this April they were able to move it and it is much much better. I think it is noisy because its a bigger unit than my old system. I found Davison to be easy to work with and think they are there for the customer and offer what is needed for a house, and did not try to oversell a system over and above what was required. I feel I am knowledgeable at HVAC systems now, and just be careful when getting quotes, you do not always need the the highest SEER, My old system was an 8, and I now have a 13 and can tell the difference in my bills each month. I bought an affordable system, and feel a 18 or higher for my 1900 sq ft house would have been too much for my house and too much money, and the cost would not outweigh the benefit for years.

Purchased a hot water heater from Home Depot and Davison Heating did the installation through them. Great service, communication, etc. Inspection done by the township found that a second shutoff valve needed to be installed before final approval and they worked diligently trying to get in touch with me to finalize it. I would definitely recommend them again!

Responded promptly and quickly fixed the problem

Initially everything was okay until I made it clear that I would not listen to any hardcore sell about my furnace not working properly and needing this or that and if I did not get it done something drastic would happen. After I made that statement the facial attitude completely changed and he was at my house less than 20 minutes total. No way he cleaned the ducts and the furnace in that time. My grade of "C" is only because personable phone conversation and professional attitude in my presence. No I would not use them again.

Good thing I had heat and not that I had none because 2 months later they still hadn't called. I called them and asked if they had forgot . The man that answered the phone said he'd call back. When he got back with me he said their quote was $700.00. I said I'd get back with them...When I called back I ask to talk with one of the owners. I questioned him about the high quote, Randy and Willy offered to come take a look for there selves. After looking it all over they stuck with the original quote made by the service man. I started calling a few more places I found out that price was 4 to 5 times more than anyone else. I had another company come to fix the problem. They took one look and found a loose wire on the zone valve. Seriously a loose wire? This service man said no charge. I called Davison to let them know I was not happy with them, Randy the owner said "Sorry". Wish it had gone better, my trust in them is broken

Our old water heater had built up sediment on the bottom of the tank and was making popping noises when the water would heat. We called Davison Heating and Cooling and had the tank flushed but the noise continued so we decided to replace the unit. I called and the next morning they were here with our new water heater. Work was done professionally and will definitely hire again.

They were very prompt; I called them right after lunch and the technician told me he would be here about 3 p.m. that same day. He actually arrived about 2 p.m. and had called prior to make sure he could arrive earlier. He was very knowledgeable and a nice person. I chose him because he was on Angie's List and he is located only about a mile from my home. He gave me an estimate prior to coming out; so that was good.

overall davison heating delivered on the promises they made. they started early and stayed late and finished job in 2 days. cleaned up and removed old equipment.

We had Davison Heating and Cooling out on an estimate for a new furnace/ac to replace our working 25 year old Lennox systems. They seemed knowledgeable and friendly. Actually, one of the owners came out because the sales person was out of town. We didn't use them but they certainly would have been a good choice.

Davidson did not charge for this service. We got three bids on the installation; Davidson's was not the lowest but they worked with us on the bid and ended up giving us a larger air conditioner to go with the furnace so we were pleased with that. They were not upset when I called to tell them that the state inspector came and said they needed to come at a separate time to correct their errors. I will use them again in the future.

They gave me a good price, and they were very polite and they did good work. They came to me from a recommendation from someone I respect. I plan on using them in the spring to clean my air ducts out.

They came right out and fixed everything. We would recommend them because they came right out, they were prompt and they got it done fast. Their price was good. I think they did go around their price. They were punctual as they came when they said they would. The guy was very professional too.
