Horrible! about 8 weeks ago they came out and installed them as they did them they ruined my landscaping and the trim and caulking looks horrible. Above the window the guy that did come out a week after and said it was done wrong said there would be water settling at the top and it needed to be redone… still no one out here to fix. Called today and everyone was out the lunch at least that is what there secretary told me and that they would call me back and nothing!!!! That’s ok they got paid so I guess that is all that matters!!!!

Very impressed with the installation crew who were professional, knowledgeable and did a good job with clean-up. The failure is the complete lack of communication by the main office. 1. We were not contacted the day before installation to inform us what time to expect installation crew. 2. A voice message left as not been responded to. 3. They also did not inform us the shower doors had not been received. A shower rod and a cheap plastic curtain was provided. I rate this company -10 for lack of communication. It’s been almost a week since installation and we still have not heard from D&W advising when to expect completion of the job...so very disappointed with D&W’s lack of customer service.

They arrived on the date promised and used a large crew to completely tear off and reroof our house in less than two days. Workers were considerate and communicative. Job site was kept organized and after completion of the job the surounding area was thoroughly cleaned. We were very happy.

Sales process was good. The install process went well too. It took about 4.5 days to complete. They did have to come back out to replace some of the glass due to scratches or incorrect glass (Missing tempered glass) but they handle it all very nicely.

We're getting ready to have a sunroom built. It hasn't been built yet. On quality, from what we can see from there showrooms and from other jobs they've done, I'd give them an A.

Terrible...the lst crew was very destructive in and outside the house..Since installation have had rain, dirt, and even snow enter house...have called...sent texts etc and issue still not fixed after several years...will not return phone calls....from customer service to owners....very poor people to do business with after they receive your money..and yes they in the past did send out so called repairman but same problem after they left and unfixed.

Jobs were very well done -- excellent quality, completed on time and at a very competitive price. Would definitely hire them again

They're good. They have a good product. We had a lot of issues with the measurements. The interactions were good. They had to come back 4 times to correct it but they did it. The work turned out good in the end. They could have done it right the first time.

I had 4 window companies come out and give me quotes. Without a doubt, Dale, from D & W was the most professional, informative and easy to work with. He provided a most competitive price, and with the advantages of their windows, I went with D & W. Advantages of their windows included they make their own windows, and so I was only dealing with one company for both installation and manufacturing. If I had a problem, I had to make only one call and avoid any possible finger pointing between the installer and manufacturer. A 50 year, transferable warranty was also very impressive considering I will be selling my house in a few years. I had thoroughly researched window quality and I felt their product was second to none. Dale explained that not only did their windows/doors meet or exceed Engerystar ratings of 0.30 U-factor or less (windows rated 0.27-0.28, doors at 0.30), but that they used virgin vinyl and also provided a solid filler in the frame. Compare that to other window manufacturers whose window frames are hollow and use recycled vinyl, which will breakdown over time. . I thought Wallside windows would be the best value and cost, but they were not. I believe their window frames are hollow and I wasn't impressed with the company and their advertising which I consider very misleading. Have you noticed their TV commercials claim every week, that their current offer of 50% every window expires on Tuesday? They have been running that ad for a long, long time. They simply renew it each week I assume. And they offer 5 year FREE financing? Their salesman reiterated he couldn't guarantee the 50% off price past Tuesday. I planned on using the free financing but then I was told that there was a "cash discount" of $1,400, which meant that if I financed I would pay $1,400 in finance fees. They don't call it interest, but they get you if you want to finance. And they were not the cheapest compared to D & W. . Weatherguard Windows also come out. Granted, they offer a commercial grade window which may be superior to a certain degree in construction, but not for $20,000. When the salesman quoted me that price and I told him I would have to consider it, he asked me that if he called his boss and got his approval, and lowered his price to $14,000, would I sign that day. So obviously the company was still making a profit at $14,000, but this salesman was ready to charge me an additional $6,000 without a second thought I told him to get out. The installers arrived on the day promised and at the time promised, and they said it would be a 2-3 day job. It took them 2.5 days to complete. Removal of the old windows and clean up was very satisfactory. I was surprised to see that the overall rating for D & W was a B grade, because of the 4 companies that I received quotes from, D & W had the best salesman, the best price, the quality that I wanted - solid frames, Low-E and argon filled, Energystar rated (I received a $320 rebate from Consumers Engery for this rating), and an installer that has being installing windows for D & W since 1989.

Installers were very good but I requested their best and got it. They were on-time, professional, and did good work. They told me about 2 broken rivets on 2 separate windows that were broken where others would have ignored it. I called to schedule service the next day and they sent out a technician to fix the problem. So far, all is well....I would recommend this company again and might buy a patio door from them next summer.

I am very happy with my new windows and door. Josh and Eric were the guys who did the install. They did a great job very nice and friendly guys.

The windows were installed late. Several phone calls were made to the provider to determine the cause of the delay. They provided no credible explanation and now the "promise" date has been moved to the second week of May. The owner did visit the home to look at the installation after full payment was withheld. All the issues were reviewed. Afterwards they out a repair person who only serviced one window saying that this was all the work order called for. Unfortunately, even that window was not "fixed" to our satisfaction. The basis of the "Bad" or poor ratings above are resulting from D&Ws lack of responsiveness, inability to meet or exceed promise dates, and not taking the initiative to contact the customer when promise dates are not met. These vinyl clad windows did not meet our expectations by a wide margin. They use standard size glass, the is a gap between the outer glass and seal which D&W says they can not fix, some of the upper window frames are sagging which D&W says is normal. The D&W website says they are "professionals that will custom manufacture each window and frame" . The windows they installed do not totally fit that description and statement. It appears they use standard size windows and frames. So the moldings are very large to allow these standard window units to fit the rough openings.

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!! initially started well salesman came and gave a quote. told us windows would be installed in 6-8 weeks, he promised when the crew left it would look as if they weren't there and we'd have great windows. after over aweek, i called because they failed to send out the final measurement guy. fast forward three months which is over the 8 weeks max promised by sales the crew shows up to install..they showed up 3 hours late so had to return a second day. they cracked and broke drywall in two areas in my home, left cigarette butts and debri all over outside and inside...inside they left debri and industrial strength cleaner on my 3 year old sons bedside table and bookshelf, shims on dressers and in beds, nails on the floor and dressers they put my children and dogs at risk for injury with their carelessness . Now on to the windows they were dirty, had extremely rough serrated edges on the lift handles, only positive is that they were new and I could tell the difference between them and old. I called D&W and the manager was not helpful he said the crew was a little sloppy, I say no not a little sloppy they were negligent! The owner called and said he'd send a guy out to fix the drywall, the handles, and clean the windows but I should know that they don't and I repeat DON'T wash windows he basically told me that they install them and don't care how they look after & that he was doing me a huge favor by having his guy clean my windows. .seriously!?!?! as promised his guy did come, was still unhappy with the handles and cleanliness of my new windows. the handles are not smooth and look unprofessional, my child could have done a better job smoothing them out. I'm extremely unhappy all around with the quality and workmanship that we received from D&W and I urge consumers to veer away this company.

Salesman was very professional. I received 3 quotes and D&W had the best price and claimed the shortest wait time. He pointed out that they are very professional, use tethers on a roof as steep as mine (which added to the cost) and would keep the site clean. He did a good job of explaining the process and what types of materials they were going to use - shingles, underlayment, drip edge, vents, etc. When I made the deposit, I was told the wait time was 2-3 weeks and the job would likely be completed in 1 day but may take 2. They brought the dumpster out 5 weeks later and were to start the following day. Weather was not the best, but it took them another week to start and did not finish for 6 days after that. This is fall in Michigan and I understand weather dealys, but the weather was fine between the time I paid the deposit up until 5 weeks later. If they would have kept close to the original time line I am sure the work would have been done in 1 or 2 days as suggested and I would not have had a dumpster blocking my driveway for 2 weeks. Also, was told how great they are at keeping the jobsite clean, but during the process there were old shingles and dripedge all over the lawn, sidewalk and porch. After they left I picked up several (more than 12) nails from my driveway and also some from my neighbor's driveway. I also picked up shingles, pieces of metal, flashing, and other debris from my other neighbor's driveway. My yard, porch and flower beds also had alot of nails and debris in them - along with some sections of gutter-guards they knocked down and left at the foundation. As far as the roof goes, I am sure it is installed fine and will not leak, but a few shingles on the ridge cap are sticking up and I am nervous the wind will tear them off. And there is a spot where the step flashing is showing alot where it wasn't before but I am sure that is cosmetic only. If this is graded pass-fail, I would have to pass them. The only real problem with the delay was losing access to the driveway and garage for a week, but it was easy enough to work around. I am dissappointed in the mess both during and after the job, especially after being told how great they were in this area. I can put the gutter guards back up and I am sure ridge cap and step flashing are not major issues.

They had excellent customer service and the workers were very good and very thorough; the work they did was excellent.

We called Dand W to come out for an estimate, they came out the following week but after that, it was hard to get ahold of the sales person we had been dealing with. He said we could meet him on Saturday Morning at 11, we got there at 10:30 to see him driving off. We then talked to the owners son but at this point still don't have an estimate, they would get back with us? Two more weeks go by and still no call so my husband went to their showroom to speak with the owner, by then, we had wasted 6 weeks! He apologized and offered us a 4 season room for the price of a 3 season room to make up for the problems we had with them. He sent their people out and they put a beautiful room in the place of an existing glassed in aluminum porch. Large windows, sliding glass door, thick walls to keep it cool in the summer and warm in the winter. We Love it! Minus the problems getting them to do business with us, even though we were paying cash, we got the room that we wanted and it's even nicer than we expected !

It went very well. We are very happy with the service, quality of work. Both installers were very professional, courteous, pleasant and timely. Windows look great.

I called them to receive an estimate for a broken window. I asked for them to replace one window double pain. She estimated 65.00 but said that I would get half off installation due to calling before the end of march. I was then told I would have to wait until April 7, for an appointment. Due to getting half off of the installation I was going to wait the ten days. They came out and gave me an estimate for $160.00 including full installation. He would not address the march offer of half off the installation stating it was only half off for a full set of windows and left the home stating he had to go. I called the place and asked for a manager, I spoke with a lady that stated no they were not going to give me the discount. I asked to please talk to the manager. She then stated she would call me after speaking with a manger. She called me back this morning and stated they were not going to honor what I was told and before I could get any compromise out she hung up on me. If a man's word means nothing why would I do business with them in the future.

ron and his crew were on time,polite,they worked quickly and were very experienced,you could tell his team has been working together along time because they each had their own job to do and things went smoothly.i also had ron take out a patio door and install a 36"door w/inclosed blind.he did a great job,,he was very reasonably priced ($300.00)considering the amount of framing he had to do to fit the new door in,i would recommend ron to everyone

My salesman was friendly, professional and knowledgeable. He was very thorough in telling me about the product, features, and the benefits it would provide to my house. I agreed to have the work done, and he gave me a time frame when I could expect the installer to call. At this point, this is the only criticism that I have. I was expecting the door and windows to be done and installed by mid-October. This is what he said I should expect. I waited way past that time until I had to call him around mid-November to see what was taking so long. He was surprised that I didn't have it in yet. He got right on it, and I had the door/windows installed shortly thereafter. The installer was nice, professional, quick, and detailed. He did an excellent job, and before I know it I was enjoying my new sliding door. So, I would've given As across the board, but I had to give a C grade for responsiveness, because there was too much time elapsed between when my door was built, and when I actually was able to get it installed. I would hope it would not take that long again. I would use them again.

Ordered end of April and was told it would take about a week to build and I would be contacted when it was done. I had to call them in two and a half weeks to find out if it was done or not. It was so went and picked it up.
