They did a really good job. I am really happy with them. They were on time. They were very professional and very thorough. They were very respectful of the house as far as dirt and those kinds of things. They did a very good job. I certainly would use this provider again in the future.

First contact was an excellent experience. They let me give the measurements and description over the phone but seemed hesitant to take my word for the info since a wrong order meant one of us would have to eat the cost of a wrong order. They called back several days later questioning my info a little, so I asked if they could have someone come out and see for themselves. That would have been an extra $100 ! Fairly sure of myself since I installed the window myself close to ten years ago I told them to just order it. They estimated it would take two to three weeks for the sash arrive. After not hearing from them I called them back the fourth week. They said the sash had come in so I had to arrange for a service call to fix it. Earliest date was in three weeks! But, they were true to this date. Installer came when scheduled, had the right stuff, did a very neat and professional job. He used a drop cloth to protect our carpeting, took away all of the old broken materials and was very careful. Overall a good experience with the exception of the long wait for a forty five minute job.

We did a lot of investigation by the internet for the right window manufacturer and found that Andersen supplies a quality window. We visited a couple of showrooms, but were very impressed by Ward's hands on showroom. They talked to us about the different window options and we selected the proper window for our home. Luckily, we had a very knowledgeable salesman that walked us through their process and he suggested we let them pre-finish the door and windows. They did a fabulous job. We would use them again..

The salesman, Chris Goett, was very nice and professional: he took preliminary measurements and gave us an estimate which my wife felt was a little high, and after about a week he got back to us with a more attractive offer which we accepted. From that point until installation, our experience was unsatisfactory. After not hearing from them for 6 weeks, I called and only then was a man sent out to take final measurements. When I called a couple of weeks later to make sure that the windows were ordered, I was informed that the mesurements were undecipherable and so we had to schedule someone to come out and take the measurements again. After that was done, we finally received the windows (again about 2 weeks later than were were told). We rejected two of the windows because they were a different style than what we had ordered. I should say that the installers (whose name I unfortunately have forgotten) were outstanding; quick, very professional and beautiful work.

I would give them a triple A rating. the workman were neat and very helpful. The foreman came out twice to visit with me to make sure I was happy with the job they were doing.

We originally visited the Cand L Ward Meridian Mall showroom in fall 2011 and looked at the windows and patio doors. they were very helpful and informative, so we scheduled an appointment for them to visit our home. The sales person came out and measured all the window/doors, answered our questions, and gave us a proposal. They were a little more money than the other companies, however, we plan on living here for many years. About 5-6 weeks later the crew arrived to install products and they did an AMAZING job. Not only were they neat and clean (unlike our last contractor) but the workmanship and detail was perfect. We have a siding and roofing project this spring - they will be our first call!

The window looks great and provides a great view of the outdoors. The installation was fast and everything inside our home stayed neat and clean.

C+L Ward was an excellent company to work with. The estimator did a very good job of explaining the options and offering suggestions. The installation crew was punctual each day and cleaned up all debris before leaving for the day. I was contacted each day by the project coordinator to ensure that we were happy with the work and progress. Our next project will be window replacement and there is no doubt that we will employ C+L Ward again.

Copied below my experience which I submitted through their web page to the company, received a call back from Pat Ward (I think the name was Pat) who left a message but then after I returned his call he never called again. * * * * * I am writing to inform you of a recent experience with your company. Using your web form, my wife asked for a free in-home estimate. She indicated several times that (I believe) your site suggested was available and we waited to hear from you. Your people didn’t call for days, in fact two of the three times indicated had already passed and the woman I spoke with apologized for the inconvenience and got us scheduled for an in-home estimate. Keep in mind at this point no one had asked what would prove to be a very important question that being, “Are you going to install these or are we?” When your man showed up, and he showed up an hour early before I was home. Once I arrived he went up to the room and looked at the windows (there are 3). As he was preparing to do his estimate he asked several questions. Finally the question of installers came out and when I indicated that I would be installing them myself he immediately packed up his stuff and told me he didn't handle that and I would need to call back and speak with a couple of your other employees about self-installed windows. At that point he left. So today I call and talk with your guys about self-installed windows and much to my surprise I learn that you won’t do an in-house estimate – I can only assume because you don’t make as much money. Let me be clear now, this is fine with me, or it would be rather if not for a few key points. #1- Your website pushes your “free in-home” estimate but doesn’t seem to indicate this only applies when you will be installing them. #2- Because you both failed to ask me if I would be installing the windows you wasted both my time and your time and forced me to leave work early. This could all have been avoided with a simple question. #3- And really this is the one that matters the most. You ALREADY had a man standing in my house who is no doubt fully capable of looking at my windows and giving me an idea of cost (not to mention measuring them). Instead of doing this however he just packed up and walked out, still providing no indication that an in-home estimate would not be an option.

Tony and his crew showed up right on time. They started by covering my counters and floors to reduce the chance of damage. They worked until 5pm and then spent another hour cleaning everything up inside and out. They took all the old windows and doors away along with the scrap. They vacuumed the floors and counters and swept the driveway. They took the time to explain how my new windows work.

The contractor they send to my house was very unprofessional. He made rude comments to my family and guests such as: "It must be nice to loaf around all day" and "oh here you are sitting on your fanny". He made my guests so uncomfortable that they left a day early. He told me the job would be done before I needed to leave; but when that time came I found him in his truck with his feet up, job was not finished. One of the screens had a hole in it and another window was missing a handle. He put in the windows the end of June or beginning of July and someone finally came out to fix the problems in September. It was horrible trying to get ahold of anyone over the phone. The customer service is extremely lacking.

Our experience with this company has been absolutely horrible. The originaly installation date was April 18th, 2011. The French doors grids didn't line up with the grids in the sidelights. This was finally resolved, but it took around two months for them to order the new doors and change them out. The kitchen window has been another matter entirely. The two side units bottom windows were not square. Two new bottom windows were ordered (after debating what to do for over a month) and then another month before they came in. When installed, they still were not square. The installer measured, and decided the entire unit wasn't square. So another month before the second complete window unit came in, and when it arrived, it didn't have any grids, and it wasn't even the right size unit! Again, another unit was ordered, and the replacement was finally installed Oct. 22nd, 2011. Lo and behold, the grids still aren't square in this unit! Now, another bottom window to the double hung window is being ordered, but we discovered (in the afternoon light) that we can't get the windows clean due to some kind of markings (fingerprints and such) on the inside of the double window panes. We've decided to tell then that we want a refund for the kitchen window, and they can have it back. I'll order one and install it myself. Delay after delay, screw-up after screw-up. Very poor response times when calling them, often wouldn't call us back. Very unprofessional. The one bright spot was our installer, but even his above-and-beyond performance couldn't make up for the company he represents.

They said we would not be able to hear the traffic ... we still can. They said that it would significantly lower our energy costs... they were only slightly lowered. Further, we have had ants come in the house through more than one window. We are not sure if this was avoidable but still .... The men were cordial, but they listened to inappropriate music while they were here. While Bennett Sevack seemed to be a God-fearing man, many of his statements were proven false as listed above. Further, we have tried to call them back on multiple occasions, but they only responded to us once... very unprofessional. On 8/9/11, we called Marvin home office to report that the ants were coming in but they have not called us back in ten days. Was it worth the money? No. Are we better off than we were without the windows? Yes, but it was 13000 bucks later.

The ordering and purchasing was done at our home in less than an hour. All of our questions were answered. A few days later we received a call to confirm the specifics of our order (staining etc). A couple of weeks later we received another call letting us know the door was built and was being shipped to their warehouse where it would be stained and finished. About 10 days after that we received a call to schedule installation. The installers (two brothers) were on time, friendly, organized and cleaned up well after they were finished. DO: If you will be painting or staining your door, have them do it. We did our own when the windows were installed, never again. The entire door and frame look great.

We received three bids to replace two exterior doors. We were very impressed with the quality of Cand L Ward's product (Therma Tru doors) based on what we had read on the Internet, and we were equally impressed with what two neighbors had said about Cand L Ward's professionalism and work ethic. We also liked the fact that the door would come factory painted with any colors we selected from Sherwin-William's huge fan deck, insuring a smooth coat and no odor in the house. On top of that we were sold by Ward's and quot;Peace of Mind Guarantee.and quot; If at any time the doors do not perform as promised Cand L Ward will come out without any charge and fix the problem. Period. After we picked out the style of doors we wanted our sales rep. measured for the doors. He showed us the Sherwin-Williams fan deck and we chose the paint colors (one color for both interiors and different colors for the exteriors) that would be factory applied. Everything went exactly as we were told by our sales representative: A technician scheduled an appointment to re-measure the doors (measure twice, cut once) and we were called a couple of times to keep us posted on their progress. When the doors were ready we were called again to set up an appointment. On installation day, because the installers were running just a little late, we were called yet again to let us know their time-line. The installers worked straight-through without any breaks; they were polite, but were all business. When the job was complete we checked out the keys that were keyed to the rest of the house, and everything worked well. When the installers left, the work areas were picked up and free of debris. In the future if we need to replace our windows we would not hesitate to use Cand L Ward.

They did a good job. I liked working with them. They were very professional and did a good job with following up after the job was completed.

They are a very good company. They are excellent. They were competitive for the kind of windows we were getting. We got Anderson windows. It was definitely worth the aggravation because we have had no problems with them. The pricing was fair and it worked out well for us. The quality was excellent. They dealt with any concerns that we had very well. They were very punctual. They were definitely professional. Nobody could get hurt using them. I think the windows are going to last longer than I do.

They were excellent. They are very informative and clean. They were efficient and professional. They followed up very well and communicated well. They cleaned up after themselves and did what they were going to do. I would tell others that you can’t find a better contractor than them. I rate them triple A overall.

On July 1, 2010, two installers arrived with two replacement windows and the front door unit. The windows were installed without problems, although the plantings under my window were trampled. One of the installers told me they would grow back even stronger, when I pointed this out to him. The story with the front door unit was different. First, the unit did not fit the opening. Consequently, the installers had to expand the opening by sawing through my wood siding. This made a huge mess in my house. Although they used drop cloths on the floor, the saw dust went everywhere. They had brought nothing to mask the front door, so the summer breezes blew the sawdust throughout the house. Once the door finally fit, I noticed that the door itself was cracked. I was told they would reorder the door and swap it out once it arrived in their shop. They were also unable to finish the trim on the interior of my entry because they didn't have enough molding due to the error in the measurement. This effort took an entire day. I called the office and complained about the door and was assured I would be called back the next day with a remedy. After two weeks passed without hearing from them, I called again and spoke with the project supervisor. He said he did not recall ever speaking to me, but that he saw the replacement door had been ordered. He offered no solution to my unfinished interior. I took photos of the unfinished door and sent them to the company president with a request for a solution. He passed me off to the project supervisor's supervisor, who assured me he would see that the situation was resolved. I should add that the installer had asked for the full amount of my balance for the project (50%), but I declined to pay with the unfinished state of the doorway. On October 12, the door was replaced and the opening was trimmed out. No one contacted me in the intervening months with an offer to finish the trim. Once again I was asked for the full balance, which I again declined to pay. I withheld about $600 of the amount left on the balance. After receiving a phone call about the balance I owed, I forcefully told the customer service operator that I had no intention of paying the full amount of the contract and complained about the service. It was then that I received a call from the president of the company, Pat Ward, who apologized, told me this had never happened before. He did not offer a price concession until I raised the issue. I had used up two full days of my vacation time and now had to hire someone to repair the torn wallboard that my dogs had chewed while it was unfinished. We settled on a 10% concession. While I was not particularly satisfied with that, I wanted to be done with the company. Needless to say, I will never use them again.

They were adequate with their bidding.

We spent about $13245. They replaced the windows of the whole house. The earlier windows were very old. They were excellent. The only complaint we have is that they played their radio a little bit too loud. We wouldn’t have complained if we liked the music, but we don’t like heavy metal. We were completely satisfied. They were very professional and courteous. They explained things very well and cleaned up after themselves. They were extremely thorough. They seemed to be the most competent in installation from all the companies we had interviewed. They have a lifetime warranty on the installation. So, should anything go wrong, they will take care of it. Their salesman was the most knowledgeable salesman that we spoke to. He wasn’t just aware of his products, but he was knowledgeable about the products of other companies. They have the best product for the price at which it is offered. We will use them again in the future.

They seem to do a good job. They were very efficient. They were easy to deal with. They were very informative. They were very polite and cleaned up after themselves.

THEY DID A FANTASTIC JOB. WHEN I CALLED THEM, THEY RESPONDED RIGHT AWAY AND GOT RIGHT TO WORK. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE MY NEW PICTURE WINDOW. I PLAN TO USE THIS COMPANY IN THE FUTURE.

I AM VERY SATISFIED WITH THEM. I HAVE USED THEM IN THE PAST AND THEY ALWAYS DO EXCELLENT WORK. THEY ALWAYS CHECK THEIR WORK TO MAKE SURE ITS DONE CORRECTLY. THEY ARE A POLITE AND PROFESSIONAL COMPANY TO USE.

I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM, BECAUSE I WAS SATISFIED WITH THE WORK THAT THEY DID. THEY CAME ON TIME AND GOT THE WORK ALL DONE IN ONE OR TWO DAYS. THEY CLEANED UP ALL THE MESS WHEN THEY WERE DONE, TOO.
