This company sub contracts it's crews? and seems to have little or no control over the hours worked. I can see why they are so far behind. The two guys working do a good job and are very nice, however, they are not here enough of the time to get this job done in a timely manner. At this point I am totally frustrated and annoyed. It is very hard to get a call back from those in the office and the supervisor has yet to show up to make sure things are going smoothly. Frankly, I don't know what their job is? I feel as a single woman that I am being discriminated against and that they feel they can fool me. I am greatly insulted by their lack of respect for me and my money. I want this job complete and will probably be hiring a lawyer. I think at this point they should be bending over backwards to get this job completed to the highest degree of workmanship and compensate me for wasted time and anxiety. This is my home, my biggest investment and I am fearful of their quality of work and their work ethics. I would not recommend this company to anyone. I am sorry I went with them as it has been a hassle from the salesman all the way down. My bad!!!

The salesperson made multiple trips to my residence to accommodate my schedule with regard to paper work, down payment etc. When the tech came out to measure and look everything over he explained everything in great detail and even offer some suggestions for insulation etc. (No pressure to get those services from them, just comments with regards to what he saw in the attic.) The installation crew was one day behind schedule as they were finishing up another job, but on the other end worked on a Saturday to finish up my roof rather than making me wait til Monday. I think they had another job scheduled but it worked out well for me. The staff was very professional, no excess noise above and beyond that made when tearing off and replacing a roof. I was impressed that they made multiple trips a day around the house to pick up any and all loose scraps and debris that had fallen up to and including using a magnet to grab any nails. After they left the only piece of debris I found was a small piece of shingle that was pretty well hidden in our tomato plants. We have a small dog run in the back yard near the house and they were very good at making sure nothing fell there, and as far as I could tell they were successful. The only thing I can criticize in the entire process is that I had to agree to the initial quote before the tech measure. In my case the results of the tech measure affected my final price after I had gained financing from my credit union for the initial quote so I had to come up with the difference out of pocket. Had the tech measure occurred prior to my gaining outside financing it would have saved me a bit of grief. While not a major issue, and I understand why it is done that way, it would have saved me a bit of a financial pinch at the end of the month. Fortunately I was able to make up the difference. Everything else about the process exceeded my expectations. I am very happy with the overall level of communication, detail and professionalism I experienced when C&L Ward re-roofed my house. They went out of their way to accommodate my schedule, kept a clean workspace during the installation and left me with a great looking roof. I would not hesitate to call them for future jobs.

They did an okay job and I think they're in a middle range. The quality was good but I had to call them to get them out of here. They were on time on their appointment and the guys were very good. They hire subcontractors to do the work.

From the initial visit to price and order the windows in April to the installation in June, all of their staff were friendly and professional. They kept me informed every step of the way with emails and phone calls. They showed up for all of their appointments for measurements and installation right on time as promised and worked around my schedule. There was no pressure sale. I was very happy with the price. In fact, I got an estimate from another company for the exact same windows just to compare and that company tried to charge me thousands more than C and L Ward did. So I'm confident I got a good deal. I love my windows. They are a breeze to open and shut and clean and look great. The ones they installed for me a couple of years ago still look and function just as great as the new ones. I think the quality of the installation is just as important as the quality of the windows themselves and I'm very impressed with the quality of their work. I would definitely recommend C and L Ward to anyone looking for new replacement windows.

Our experience with them has been very good. They installed the door very quickly even though the weather was not very warm. They cleaned up after themselves. The door looks fabulous both on the inside and outside. There was no damage to the interior wall. They placed a new wood back up on the wall. Everything looks like the door has always been there. It's very nice job. Their work was pretty perfect.

Job was finished within one day. Cleaned up as it was before. They came in with a large number of people, found that some of the decking had split and needed to be replaced. Ordered the wood and installed it in time to install the shingles and flashing. I was kept appraised throughout the day. Everyone from the salesman to the installation crew was professional and friendly.

The sale associate was on the phone in her office. We waited patiently for her to finish. After 15 minutes we asked another Ward employee to check on how long she would be. We were told she was speaking to a supplier and couldn't say how long it would be. We asked if someone else could help us but we were told she was the only person who was familiar with the product. We waited another five minutes and left. We did not feel like our business was appreciated.

They were very good. I was also contacted by a manager about the dates and times they would be coming out. If there was a delay to weather, they were always in contact with me letting me know.

It did not go well. They did not put the correct amount of vents in which caused condensation in the attic. However, they did come back and correct the situation.

They came the next day to look at the broken window and gave an estimate. It took a month to get the window, but there was a lot of damage to windows due to the ice storm. They did a great job reinstalling a new window.

They offer a lifetime warranty on all their work. The windows have been leaking air since they were installed and caused the window treaments to blow off. We had a windstorm in December and the cold air was blowing the curtains off the window. We have also had ants come in through the window. They told me "it was all in my head." We were told the windows weren't caulked to seal the window completely, and they haven't shown up to any appointments and they now haven't been returning my calls. If the window job was $5,000 I would still be upset, but not nearly as upset as spending $15,000. We bought top-of-the-line windows, and were told our heating and AC bills would go down and we wouldn't be able to hear road noise. Nothing we were promised with the windows has been delivered.

Everything went very well. We met with the consultant after Thanksgiving, signed a contract, and were provided a date of installation. With all of the cold weather and snow the area had in January we were concerned that the installation date was going to be delayed, but there was no delay. The provider did the installation on the date scheduled, arriving each morning at the promised time. They assured us that when their work was complete, there would be no additional work for us (i.e., caulk trim, plugging nail holes, using touch up paint, etc.) to do and they were right. The installation is weather tight. Our installers did a fantastic job of sealing off any leaks. We immediately noticed that all drafts that we previously had were eliminated and the rooms no longer have that noticeable drop in temperature they used to have when compared with the rest of the house. Overall, this company was attentive to our concerns, all of the staff we worked with were very professional, they did an outstanding job with the installation and, as a result, we will use them again...possibly for more than just windows.

Provided a great roof at a good price. We paid a bit more but got a great service and great job. Everyone was very professional. The clean up was awesome!

Beyond my expectations. High quality windows. Expensive, but done right. Had 9 windows installed.

This provider's estimate was significantly higher than another estimate we received. They work has since been done and we are extremely pleased with our other provider and the services they provided.

The meeting was scheduled promptly and our salesman arrived at the appointed time. He was a really nice guy and we enjoyed meeting him. He was very professional and pointed out the benefits of his products without running down the competition. He was very thorough and gave us a detailed bid in writing. He followed up by phone at a later date to see if we had any additional questions. We decided to go with another product and contractor but would be open to considering this company if future needs warrant it. I have kept the salesman's card on file for reference.

We spent roughly $25000 to replace our windows and doors. The installation went fine (probabaly because we paid the final 50% of the cost AFTER the job was finished). Since then we have had a problem with our fron door ock (which they installed). We have been calling their office for nearly 2 months to try an get someone to come out and replace the lock with no success. They have claimed everything from having "our name mis-spelled in their system" (so they couldn't locate us to return our calls), to have "personnel changes" (so they couldn't return our calls), to just not returning our calls. Funny how they knew how to contact us when we still owed them money. Think about it - you want to spend $25000 and not have an organization come out to fix a defective part that they installed? AVOID THEM. Go elsewhere if you want quality customer service.

Actually they did quite well. The workmanship was good. They wer quick. They cleaned up. They could have done better, I am not really sure, maybe time frame. They could have got to the job sooner. There was a little wait for them to come get the job done. But you know what are you going to do, they got jobs to do elsewhere too. Their pricing was a little bit more expensive than most.

They were on time, reliable and performed a through clean-up. We were happy with the product and content with the results.

CL Ward Brothers ran a $199.00 monthly special for minor repairs. The repair task was scheduled for a certain date and time. The service technician called ahead of time as requested. The job was performed as estimated with no hidden surprises. The technician was very professional and cleaned-up the area upon completing the job.

We have two houses that need window services They are about one mile away. One house has a vinyl window that is hard to lock, but very easy to open and close. Another house has four all wood windows that were hard to open and close, because windows and their frames are lightly touched. My wife called the C and L to setup one trip appointment for both houses. Since they are two locations, Cand L charged us for the trip fee $75 + $50 (discount for the 2nd one). It is OK so far, because it was pre-agreement. My wife explicityly asked for the windows repair dept. The repair guy came on time for the first house, opened and closed the window that is hard to lock, tried couple times. He concluded he can't fix it and it can be only replaced. I was sure the window is fine, because it looked like new. so I did not take his suggestion and moved on to the 2nd house. Hope he could do some repairs. For the second house, he tried to open and close all four windows, again concluded he can do nothing other than replacing them for new ones. I told him the windows are fine but window and its frame light touched. He said he can't repair it, because he can't do anything that is a part of the frame. So, he left with $125 and had nothing done. I ended up fixing them myself by resurfacing bottom boards, so they will not touch the windows.

The price was very reasonable. The price was very comparable if not better than the others. They were very good. They were very efficient. They did good work and cleaned up after themselves. They were very personable.

The salesman was more than accomodating and friendly. Great service

Everything was as requested. A great job all around.

Service person arrived later than scheduled. He did a thorough job of evaluating the windows that need repair or replacing. Supposed to get back to us in 2 or 3 days. 10 days later and we are still waiting. Tried calling the company, but got tired of waiting to talk to someone.
