Kenny was very patient and thorough with his work. Price was very reasonable too. He even went up to the attic to inspection and make sure wires were not burnt up there.

Dave was excellent, knowledgeable, and experienced. He evaluated the electrical needs of my house and did some troubleshooting of electrical issues. Another electrician wanted to upgrade my electric panel for a very high price and Dave was honest in telling me that my panel was fine for the size of my house. He did "tune up" the panel (assured connections were tight, no corrosion, etc.), replaced some breakers in the panel, and changed the air conditioner breakers that were incorrect. He did not try to charge me for work I did not need. Dave also priced out additional work that I want to have done in the house and gave me recommendations that would help save energy costs. I am very happy with the service and fair pricing and will be using this company again.

Great, fixed in a few minutes. Needed to reset for one outlet, the other non-working outlets were all wired together, by resetting fixed all outlets. Easy fix, no extra charge, the service person was honest, did not try to charge me for unnecessary repairs, and educated me on how the reset works and wiring of multiple outlets.

Went well. Guy diagnosed the problem and fixed it within the hour time limit.

rough at times, not sure how to install NEST, second installation quick and 1/3 price by another electrician

I was contacted by Megan through e-mail who told me the next available appt. time would be on a Thursday between 2-3 p.m. She asked me to tell her specifically what was needed so the techs could be prepared. I told her that the time would be fine but received no confirmation that I was being scheduled. The techs showed up at my home & did the work I asked for. Upon leaving one asked me did Megan go over the pricing on the phone because my pre-pay fee only covered labor & not supplies. I asked how much more & was told $40. The tech said he didn't feel comfortable writing my credit card info down so Megan would call in the a.m. & I could give her my info to pay. the next day I receive a message saying I had a balance of $110. I disputed that & told the person on the phone what I was told at my home. They excused themselves to pull up my invoice (which I hadn't even seen before the techs left my house) & Don, the owner, came back & got on the phone. Apparently I was being billed for 1 & 1/2 hours of work even though they were there for an hour. After some discussion Don agreed to drop the fee for the 2nd electrician which was $22. I still didn't think I should pay for an extra half hour for an hours worth of work. The total for supplies came out to $47.50 That's what I agreed to pay. This will be my last time using Angie's List. Fee's should be explained up front & not inflated on customers. I do not feel comfortable giving them my credit card info & will be asking them to send me an invoice at which time I will pay for the costs of supplies by check or money order. Honesty is important in dealing with customers so I'm done with this service. Had the tech stayed over an extra half hour he would've stated that when he mentioned the extra fee for supplies, he didn't. Very disappointing.

Don’s Electric is the company to go with if you need any residential electrical work done. From estimate/total cost to knowhow and professionalism, Don’s exceeded my expectations. For me the price was right and the finished job was exactly what I wanted. They are very detailed oriented. If you go with Don’s ask for Kenny. He’s the best.

When I called, the office staff was friendly, helpful and got me scheduled for next day service which was faster than I expected (and appreciated). Dave from Don's Electrical Service provided the service at my home. He was punctual, courteous, friendly, knowledgable, competent and very customer focused. As promised he called in advance to let me know what time he would arrive. I would trust Dave to do any of my electrical work - a seasoned pro. Price was as promised. If I could rate this experience an A+, I would. I purchased an offer for $125 for an hour of electrical work. The company contacted me shortly after and scheduled an appointment. Kenny was right on time, was friendly, knowledgeable and extremely helpful with questions I had. I will definitely use them again!

Working with Don's Electric gave me hope in contractors. Aaron was very fair with respect to prices. He showed up exactly when he was supposed too - something that rarely happens with contractors. He also answered several questions while helping me with the electrical work he completed. He even helped fix a gas line that had a slow leak.. Arrived on time, got right to work. Assembled the new fan/light. Removed the old fixture and installed the new fixture. Replaced a wall socket in Master bedroom. Completed the work on time and on budget.

Don arrived on time, he was attentive, he listened to my issue and gave expert knowledge, everything went well with the actual work, there are no issues and I haven't had to call him back to fix anything!

He came on time...he saw the problem immediately...he fixed everything and was gone within the hour...plus he gave me some excellent education on our generator and how to better utilize it. it was great.

My technician, Aaron, performed the maintenance on my whole-house automatic generator. I was very impressed by his attention to detail on every procedure. For example, changing the oil. He carefully disposed of the old oil and cleaned up any spillage. Despite the below zero wind chill, there were no shortcuts in his performance, he even cleaned the exterior of the unit and applied a sealant wax to protect the exterior from dirt and weather conditions. Also, because of Aaron's professionalism, he gave me a complete oral report on what he completed and adjustments he made to keep the generator in proper working condition. I was so impressed with the service performed today, Don's Electric will be my go-to company for any future household electrical services, as well as for annual maintenance on my generator. One other note: Aaron was also training a new employee on the proper steps to maintain a generator, so I know that the personnel at Don's Electric are receiving great on the job training too.

The electrician was prompt, efficient, and friendly. I had no problem with the him. What I did have a problem with was that when he installed the fan, he vented it into the attic as opposed to outside the roof. This instillation is not up to code which states that the fan should be vented outside and not in the attic. I had another contractor quoting another job and he pointed out the venting issue. When I call the installer he new exactly what he did wrong and is coming to fix the venting at no additional cost... He should have don't it right the first time!!

The installers did an excellent job of unpacking and installing the new fixtures. We communicated well during the process. The appearance of my home has been transformed by the newly installed lighting. The entire experience was so positive that I will consider this company my first choice for future electrical work. Bravo!

After they left I found circuits in a room that worked before and wasn’t working.

That was okay. He came out and did the work but he didn't get to the bottom of anything. It took him awhile to get back to me. It wasn't too good. We should have rescheduled because the problem had resolved itself and it took them too long to come out. The price was good. They really didn't do anything.
