The well was installed as promised and is working great. Went with a 4 in well instead of 5 in. Bill explained to me that he prefers to use galvanized 4in pipe instead of 5 in PVC and that the same pump is used reguardless of size. He said he could get more accurate samples drilling with the galvanized and find cleaner sand. Not sure if this was just a sales line but the water quality in the new well seems to be good so far. My only markdowns were because they tore up my sprinkler lines running the wel pipe to my cottage. I understand it is hard to avoid hitting these pipes but I wish they could have left them exposed so I could fix them easier. They just filled the trench in and left. I had to spend an extra $325 to have the pipes fixed. When I explained this problem to Bill he told me to deduct the ammount I consider fair off his invoice.That is the way I like to be treated by a service company. I thanked him for the gesture but because I am also a small business man I only deducted $100 from the invoice.
