Not only was the experience bad, but they are also now refusing to reimburse us for damages. This was an out-of-town move from Grand Rapids to Chattanooga. They were supposed to arrive at 9 am but did not get into town until 2:30 pm. This was a corporate move, so we made arrangements ahead of time with Dan that payment would come from the company. The Friday before the move, AFTER they had all of our belongings on the trucks, they called to make arrangements for payment from us. To further frustrate the matter, when the team arrived with our belongings, they were expecting payment from us and had not been told it would be billed. The staff then ARGUED with us over the issue while we were already dealing with issues at the storage facility with the moving team (more on that in a bit). Then, unbeknownst to us, THEY SWITCHED TRUCKS after they loaded it in Michigan. While we understand things break down, the issue is the original truck was packed so the front of the load would go to storage and the remainder to the house we were renting. We ended up with WAY TOO MANY items at the rental house because of this, and we were literally having to crawl over things in order to move around the house. When we then started unpacking, it was stunning how carelessly some of the boxes were packed. In one, a lampshade was packed with books, crushing the lampshade. That lampshade was part of a set of four, so all four needed to be replaced in order to match. They also reused boxes from a previous move, which was nice to see they recycled, however, they did not cross off what was on the box so the stuff was all over the house because we didn't know what was really in the boxes. Then we found out they missed 2 drawers of items from our kitchen that we had to have someone ship to us and they did not bring down the planters that were on our porch. They also damaged our deck box and broke the connectors on the sides so the box would no longer stay together. The most heartbreaking part of this was the damage done to a wine armoire when the team put it in storage. As they were putting it in the storage unit, they dropped it twice, and one of those times it was caught on the netting and they literally ripped the molding off the top of the unit. The unit was so badly damaged that we someone initially tell us it was not repairable. It took us a couple of years to find someone to fix it, and now Scully is refusing to pay, even though we told them at the time it was damaged and send him pictures. When we sent the letter with the photo of the damages, he did not give us a timeline for having to submit for reimbursement, and he also argued that because we later moved it to our new home that someone else may have damaged it. He is also claiming that the damage done to a deck storage box would only be a $90 replacement even though I cannot find a 200 gallon unit anywhere near that price.

Move went very well with no issues. Team was efficient, professional and well coordinated. They packed 2 trucks one day and one went to storage and one to our duplex rental unit the next day. We had some special art and furniture pieces that needed to be packed carefully. They did a great job with no issues.

It took an hour longer than quoted with 3-guys. My team, Ryan, Zac and Jake were outstanding! :) They went right to work and didn't waste time. They kept that up the whole time! The lead guy, Ryan, was very attentive to my requests/questions, and communicated with me consistently, as to the progress and what was or was not happening. He was fantastic! :) The only issue was the glass on a small end table fell and broke, and they immediately replaced the glass within 2-business days. Would highly recommend! ~JC

We were very happy with our Scully Statewide experience. Our team of movers - Dennis, Josh, Cory, Seth, and Lisa - did a great job. They took good care with all of our stuff, and they were very professional and courteous. We also really appreciated our communications with Dan, who gave us an estimate and followed through on critical details. We would definitely work with Scully's team again!

Had an outstanding experience in April 2018 with Scully Statewide Movers. I appreciated their care, attention to details and focused efficiency. They had all the furniture and boxes loaded in the truck faster than I expected, and the load-in to the new home couldn’t have been done better. I was very impressed.

The packers and movers used were Travis, Missy, Devon and Dawn. We could not be happier with this team. They were on time, congenial, professional, and effective. They operated efficiently and quickly. Whenever we encountered challenges or puzzles, they were very good at solving them and making acceptable suggestions. Price was extremely competitive. We were happy with the way that they had packed things. When we started unpacking however we had discovered that things weren't labeled well or organized as well as it could have been, which made unpacking more difficult as it is harder to find everything and we also have realized that we have some missing items that we have yet been able to find.

We were very pleased with the quickness, readiness, and overall service. The vendors in the past would come unprepared without dolly's or pallets. Scully's came prepared and they went right to work moving. They were incredibly fast which is key for our work. They were observant to what was fragile and they made sure they were careful with our inventory. The only item that was an obstacle was setting up the times to come deliver. We felt a little bit of a push to coordinate on Scully's timetable instead of trying to find something that worked for our large event. As an organization we want to definitely keep the business aspect in mind, but at the end of the day we are the client and when planning events we have a sensitive timetable. We do not know how long a job will take and we have pre-communicated with venues in regards to the best time to unload. That sometimes means we ask a little flexibility with the vendor. We were able to work out a time and in the end we were very pleased with the entire service.

My experience with this company exceeded my expectations. I have moved multiple times within Michigan and interstate. Unlike many local movers, Dan came to my home to give me an accurate estimate. I was fortunate to have Missy and Trevor lead my moving and packing team. They were punctual, efficient, and extremely pleasant to work with. They efficiently packed and stored furniture and belongings from a 4200 square foot home into one of the company's climate controlled units. They were extremely conscientious about keeping the moving expense within budget. Another plus was the company's relationship with a local charity; they helped sort and transport items that I wanted to donate.

What all around great honest people. We worked directly with Pat Scully the owner on getting the quote and what a great guy. His movers were also all great. Who likes moving? No one. I am pretty cheap and it pained me to pay someone to do what I can do, but I am never moving myself again. Dan was the team leader on the day of our move and he and his team kept my wife happy which means I not only didn't have to do the work but I did not have to deal with my frantic wife, they did and they did it well. I have recommended them to friends, family and neighbors and everyone was glad that I did.

They went above and beyond what we would have ever expected. 10 hours of hard labor, 2 truck loads full to the top being very careful with everything. Excellent company and staff to work with. Would recommend to everyone.

They were by far the best moving company I have ever worked with. Their movers were very professional, accommodating and worked very hard. The entire process was seamless. They were not only the best moving company I have ever worked with out of almost 7 different movers in my lifetime but they were also one of the best companies I have ever worked with. Pat Scully was very professional, honest and upfront about every aspect of the move. I would recommend them to anyone.

First of all, this ended up costing more than when Two Men and a Truck moved me 40 miles two years earlier with many more belongings. Second, what a mess! I could not believe how they were loading the truck. Most movers are meticulous and carefully plan the load. This looked like (and, indeed, ended up being) a disaster. I looked inside the truck with horror and thought that all I could do at that point with trust the process because what was done was done. However, there was so much damage! I had about eight major claims to file including a hole in my sofa cushion. Getting the repairs completed took over three months of constant follow up. The repairs were all noticeable. The moving company did not offer to provide a refund of any kind. It was really distressing to have items that you have taken care of treated so poorly and then never the same again. Less than a year later, I had to move again. I called Two Men and a Truck and they did a PERFECT job.

Moving the treadmill was tricky, as it had to come up the stairs from my carpeted basement, but they did it. I thought the price was great. It was the first time I had ever used them, and they did a great job. I'd use them again!
