I was contacted within a couple hours of requesting an estimate and the gentleman on the phone was able to give me a competitive quote. With a holiday coming up, he was able to schedule us for 3 days out. I was able to find another company to do the job the next day, so we went with that company instead. The gentleman on the phone was very knowledgeable and I was impressed that he called me back on a Sunday afternoon.

Well, I first called for an appointment on Tuesday. I spoke with Julie on the phone I thought she had said that they had an opening that same day from 2-4pm. She asked if there was a possibility that they could come any earlier at 1:30pm. At first I didn't think I could be there, but I then got the approval to take the afternoon off from work so I could be there. I even called her back to let her know that I would be home that afternoon, in case they could come earlier. I waited all afternoon until 4:30pm and called them back to say that didn't show up.A different girl had answered the phone and said Julie had scheduled me for the following day on Wednesday!! I could not make the appointment for that day. There was a break down in communication there and was asked if I would consider rescheduling. I was hesitant, but I did reschedule for Friday the 24th from 12-2pm. The 2 guys did show up on time and within 10 minutes, located the source of the gas leak. It was coming from one of the elbows in the gas line about half way from the main and the furnace. After turning off the gas, they removed the piping up to the joint. It was in an awkward spot between the floor joist and the basement bathroom wall. It took a lot of hard muscle to remove the elbow and then tighten back up so that it wouldn't leak anymore. Those guys worked so hard at it. They did an awesome job!! After the job was completed and payment was made, I had asked for a receipt via email, but it didn't go thru. They had phoned the office and asked Julie to send me a receipt from her computer. She said she would send it. I assumed it would have been that day. Well by Monday the 29th, I still had received one. I had to call back again to get one. I would have given all straight A's except I am not very impressed with Julie who answers phones, schedules appointments and sending out email receipts. So because of that I am rating them a C for Responsiveness. There was no communication from them after the scheduling mishap and email receipt.

We have used them for 20 years and will always use them. They are amazing. I do not know if their price is fair because I would never use anyone else.

We hired Haisma to inspect, service and tune up our AC in June 2017. We were told the system was good. There was a minor issue with capacitor but nothing urgent we were told. Then AC broke down in July, capacitor was out of spec and all leads were burnt. We called them back, they came and repaired it, and charged us $589 for something that was their oversight . The price quoted was $339 on the phone. We contacted them many times after we saw the credit card charge, never got a response. Finally disputed the extra $200 with credit card company. They even charged service cost twice.

He did a great job. I'm sure he charged me for that piece he put on there. I think that they did a fantastic job. Very knowledgeable, efficient, got the job done right. I will call him again next year, to check over my unit. There was just one guy. Very nicely, cleaned up after himself. Did everything just the way I wanted.

The service men showed up shortly after placing the call for service. They were very professional and explained everything and why it went wrong. I have used Haisma in the past and will continue to do so.

Perfect - I called and left a message at 1am, and they had a crew out at 3pm the next day. Fixed it in 15 minutes, great experience, very pleasant folks. Highly recommended.

Haisma did an excellent job from start to finish. Dave returned my call promptly and was able to work with my schedule when arranging a time to come out to the house. He measured its actual dimensions to propose a furnace that would be properly sized for the space. During that time, he explained my different options in an informative manner without resorting to any hard-nosed sales tactics. The estimate he emailed me gave me several levels of options. The day of the install, the crew cleaned up after themselves so well that the new furnace looked like it'd been there all this time. I found Haisma very responsive and easy to work throughout the entire process. I'm enjoying having heat again and appreciate Haisma's job well done!

Jill was very courteous and professional on the phone. My AC went out on the hottest week of the year (isn't it funny how it always works that way) when I called them the following Monday they were out early the very next day! They got my air conditioner running again and had the parts needed to fix it on the truck for a very reasonable price. Highly recommend

These folks are fabulous! We previously called another local HVAC company to diagnose a complaint from a tenant that there was a gurgling noise whenever the boiler fired up for the in-floor hot water heating system. We paid that company $133 for a service call to tell us that we needed to replace the 20 year old air relief on the system and the cost would be around $1,000! Because we believed we had been over-charged in the past by this company, we did some internet research to discover that we probably did not need the "Lamborghini valve" we had been quoted. Further research led us to Haisma Heating & Cooling, with whom we had no prior experience but who has excellent ratings on Angie's List. Now we know why! From our first contact with the receptionist Jill, our experience was outstanding. We received a prompt appointment, the service man showed up on time as scheduled, and within an hour or two he had replaced the failed air relief valve with one that is more than adequate for our system. The total cost, including the valve? $176! Go to these people first. You will be treated fairly and with excellent quality service at a reasonable price. If you don't go to these people first, then at least go second and get a quote before you proceed with your project. If you have an experience like ours, you will save money! Haisma is now our first choice for HVAC service, both at our own home and for our rental properties. We only wish we had discovered them years ago.

It went great. They called to let us know when they would be arriving and they were right on time. The young man who showed up knew exactly what the problem was with our furnace. He didn't have the part he needed on his truck to repair the furnace, but he left and returned within the next half hour with the part. He was very professional and very nice to work with.

We have used this company for over 22yrs. They installed the furnace when the house was built. We have used them twice for repair and several times for maintenance work. They are always on time,neat, clean, never pushy or try to up sell, . When we called they took the time to talk us through "fixing" it before saying we would need a service call. I would use Haisma H/C for all heating/cooling needs. Luke was so helpful. Explained the new thermostat and how to work it. Learning curves are always stressful but he made it easy and smooth (always a good thing).

Overall I was very impressed with their service. They were very thorough and honest about what needed to be done. The response time was excellent and I didn't feel they only charged me a minimal amount for a good amount of time spent at the house.

Fantastic experience. The technician demonstrated to me not only what he was doing, but also how a furnace works, and what are signs of breakage. An educational experience as well as a tune-up. Would absolutely recommend to others.

Getting the appointment set up through Angie's List did not go very well. Once I had a direct contact with Haisma everything went smoothly.

Dave came out to give an estimate, and he showed up on time. He was so great! He explained things in such a great easy way to understand, and even drew pictures to show how things worked! He was by far the best sales guy I've ever met! Any time I had a question after he left, he answered the phone, or promptly called me right back. He never tired of my calls when I thought of a new question either. When the AC was installed, the installers were very professional and completed the work in a reasonable amount of time for the job. They were very accommodating in working around my kids nap schedules! They answered all of my questions as well, and were also very good at explaining things. The next day, I received a call from their office that one of the installers had forgotten something and was going to come out to fix it, and when he arrived, he said he realized later that night that he had forgotten to do something with the electrical panel. I thought that was great of him to realize he had made a mistake and came back and fixed it promptly the next morning! I very highly recommend Haisma Heating and Cooling! I only wish the previous homeowners chose them for the furnace, but ohwell. I will be calling Haisma for all of our future cooling AND heating needs! Also, when one of the air returns was moved, part of the wall surrounding the original return was damaged. I paid the installers the full price, but then I called the company and explained what had happened and sent a few pictures to show the damage, and we were reimbursed for that portion of the installation. The installer felt really bad about messing up the wall, but it was still nice that we were sent a check to cover the cost of moving that air return!

The owner, Gary Haisma is a wonderful Christian man who is very caring about not only his work, but also his customers. He asks how you are and treats you as part of his family.

It went not very well because I don't know if it's faulty or not. When they were here, they turned on our heater and they thought it was running okay but it ends up leaking to our furnace and tried to called them for our problem. I don't have much to say but they are perfectly nice. I tried to call them but they seemed to be a small company and we're going to charge a lot to come out so I ended up calling someone else. The price was fine.
