Grand Rapids Air Duct & Chimney Cleaning

I had a 1PM appointment scheduled. I took a half day off work so I would be there at the scheduled time. I moved all the furniture so they would have easy access to the 22+ ducts they were to clean. After waiting an hour for them to show up, I called and asked the receptionist when they would be there. She put me on hold and said came back on the phone & said I am sorry but they will not make it out. I explained that I took the day off (a cost to me, not them) and I had moved all the furniture. I asked for the owner. She said he was not there. I asked for his phone number, she would not give it to me. I asked for a return call and now after 4 days, no return call. So in my review, unprofessional, unreliable, not punctual and I will never do business with them or recommend them. I also read reviews of other customers that had a negative experience with them.

My experience with Grand Rapids Air Duct & Chimney Cleaning could not have been better! Wilbert did a phenomenal job and put my fears at ease! (I've had 2 other terrible experiences in 2 different states so was starting out from scratch researching and trusting a new company.) We just moved into a 45 year old home, we did a ton of remodeling and have allergies/asthma so we needed the job done with great excellence and care and those hopes were exceeded! I'm so amazed at the quality and time spent to do this job right! There was so much debris (flying through the ducts) and thick clumps of accumulated dust (seen because a couple of our basement ducts were unhooked) that he spent extra time going back and forth and cutting new holes for better removal until he and I were certain the system was clear of debris. He also cleaned up all debris and left my basement cleaner than when he started. He spent longer than the allotted time to be sure they were cleaned well, answered my many questions, showed video of the ducts when I asked, wore boot covers in the home and used the basement window to not track snow and dirt through my home and went above and beyond all my expectations. The price was great, they had a special discount this month, gave us a military discount and even without those it was a great price! I expected my allergies to be a problem the first couple days with all the agitation in the vents but was pleasantly surprised to have zero issues! I felt like a giant weight was lifted from my shoulders as I heard 45 years worth of dust, debris and allergen accumulation leaving our home. I highly recommend this company and urge you to ask for Wilbert he will treat your home like it's his own grandmothers!

Great. Big compressor on the truck, huge hoses into the house. When the system was turned on, you could HEAR the power. Last time we had duct work cleaned, another company brought a unit inside that looked like a glorified vaccuum cleaner!

Steve and Will were great! They called before arrival, performed their job professionally. Both gentlemen were very kind an polite. Answered all my questions!

Office is hard to get in touch with via email or phone, took 3 times. Appt time didn't match. Those doing the cleaning were professional and thorough. They cleaned up at end, great job. Office needs work.

During the cleaning they were respectful of my home and furnishings. After the cleaning they made sure that everything was back in it's place and that there was no mess left behind. I can notice a big difference in the reduction of dust in my home after the cleaning and I wake up in the morning without a stuffy head. I am truly happy with the service I got from Grand Rapids Air Duct, thanks for the great job.
