Description of Work: I used Woodbrook Painting to do some of our outdoor painting and wood repair on our house. They power washed, painted the exterior trim on my house and replaced trim on the exterior of the house.

Description of Work: Eric painted the master bedroom and bath. Great job, very clean, timely. Actually I have nothing negative to say about Woodbrook Painting. I would absolutely call them again for any other paint job I will have. On a scale of 1 to 10 & 10 being the best.....they would get a 10.

Description of Work: Stripped wall paper in bathroom & bedroom. Did not remove intake vent cover or light switch to remove paper from behind it.

Description of Work: Painted a full sized deck and house trim. Very nice work and paint surface prep with great follow-up and making sure every part of the job was done to my satisfaction.

Description of Work: On 4/29/14 I called this company to set up an appointment for a 5/13/14 estimate for painting and other work. Timing in getting this estimate was important to me. On 5/13/14 when I called to verify appointment, I was told that the company did not service Detroit or North Rosesale Park, to be precise, and could not recommend anyone else. Two weeks had passed and I was told today what I should have been informed about on the initial call to Woodbrook Painting..

Description of Work: Came gave an estimate 3.000.00. Higher than any other estimate wanted half of money in front even though I was providing material. Gave some c***-bull story about starting in a couple of weeks. I told him why should I pay him in front. You get paid for services when services are rendered. If you want I will pay you daily for work performed. Once you pay a large amount of money in front to a contractor you have provided him with no incentive to do your job. He basically has received all of his profit up front. Very unprofessional. Never heard from him again.

Description of Work: They hired out the job to someone else who were not professional. They then had to come back and fix a lot of mistakes. I still have tape on my windows from a job that was done over six months ago. Very expensive for what they did. Would never use them again.

Description of Work: Wallpaper was removed in a bathroom which had wallpaper applied directly to the wallboard, with no sizing at all. My husband and I had attempted to do the work ourselves, but after hours of digging and gouging, we had little to show for our efforts but a mess. The chap from Woodbrook arrived when he said he would, and completed the job in under the time he'd estimated. But....the fellow who did the work said it was ready to be painted, which it definitely was not. He also had replaced the bathroom mirror with a large, heavy wooden dresser mirror from the same room in which we'd placed the bathroom mirror. To hang this (obviously) dresser mirror he put huge molly screws in the bathroom drywall. It took a lot of work from a professional painter to remove the mirror, repair the holes in the wall, and get the walls ready for painting.
