SUTHERLAND LAWN SPRINKLERS

Just a heads up to share a pretty bad experience with Southerland Lawn Sprinklers in Commerce Twp. Reliability and rudeness are the issues. About three weeks ago I scheduled an appt for today (Friday) to have a rust prevention system installed. I made it clear that I had already purchased the system, provided the model number, and asked for installation only services. I was told since I was providing the equipment they couldn’t provide a flat rate and would only quote an hourly rate. I was given the rate and was fine with that. Tuesday, three days agp, Southerland called and left a voice mail that they were not able to get the system I wanted. I called back the number they called from within an hour and left a voicemail that I already had purchased the system and only needed the installation service. I asked them to please call back and let me know that they received my message and confirm that we were still on for Friday. I then called the office number a couple of hours later and left the same message. On Wednesday and Thursday I left the same message on both phone numbers again, and did so again Friday morning. Each time I called I left my name, phone number, and explained that I wanted to confirm that they were coming out Friday morning and that I had the equipment. I asked them to call back. They didn’t return any of my calls and, of course, didn’t show up this morning. When I called for initial quotes and scheduling, they always called back within hours, but this time they couldn’t be bothered to call back within days. I suspect someone thought I needed the equipment and when they couldn’t get it, they just cancelled me and scheduled someone else in the time slot. I can understand that, but to not to return any of my calls to tell me that was bothersome. I waited three weeks for this appointment and am now back to square one. Be warned.
