As a first time home buyer, I really appreciated having an experienced and helpful agent to guide me through the process from what to look for when purchasing a home, managing setting up the first offer, connecting with all the other professionals needed in the process (both the mortgage broker and home inspector he recommended was thorough and helpful), to setting up/coordinating the closing. I would definitively recommend him to friends or family.

Russ helped us to find our Lakefront Home. He is very knowledgeable and always has your best interest in mind. We looked for almost 1 year viewing over 40 homes. Russ never pressured us or tried to “sell” us a home, he is a very patient real estate agent. What I also appreciated was the fact that he responded usually within a couple of hours by phone or text and tries to set up a showing as soon as possible, which is the key in a seller’s market. Having an agent with many years of experience and knowing the local market is key in the negotiation process. Having Russ on your side makes this foreign process (for first time home buyers) a very smooth and and enjoyable experience. We definitely recommend Russ, if you plan to buy a home in SE Michigan! I also highly recommend visiting one of his internet homepages to do some research on the local lakes. Lots and lots of information that you couldn’t get anywhere else.

Russ provided me with good market data related to recent market sales. He walked through my Dad's condo and provided me his verbal assessment of the condo after considering its condition and comparable sales. I would consult Russ again in a similar situation or to sell my own home.

Russ was incredibly helpful and very responsive. He scheduled showings, got comparables when we were interested in making an offer and made sure that everything went smoothly. Even though I know we weren't his only client, he made us feel that way and was very knowledgeable about the areas that we were looking at homes in, which was very helpful. Russ even went out of his way to look at a foreclosure that we were interested in looking at beforehand and saved us the trip.

Not able to get comparable type homes to evaluate

He met me at the home, and walked through it with me. Later he sent me information about recent sales. He was very professional and friendly.

Russ did perform his job, but was not able to help in my situation.

After meeting Russ on the lake, he called me when he saw lakefront homes that he thought we would like. After a showings we found our Dream home!. Its very impressive to find an agent today that doesn't just send links and hope you call them. He didn't rush me or push me to by a house. We talked about what we really wanted. No we have a lake home with a big lot, great view, with lots of storage.

I am so lucky to find this service. Russ visited my home and gathered my detailed factors of the house. He came up a report couple days later. The report was so detailed, I don't even have time to read it all. Russ followed up the report and gave my couple calls and explained the conclusion he made. It was so educational to me. Went very well. Russ always returned calls, showed up on time. Always answered our questions (did not always get the answer we wanted but he was right) when selling You always want the highest price , Russ said it will sell at this price and it did.

Russ was an excellent real estate agent. I really wanted to be near a downtown area. In either Plymouth or Northville and I had a budget I didn't want to go over. I knew what I wanted so we saw houses that were not what fit me. We found a great house with lots of room and that was updated too. It was a good price too. Now 8 years later it is gone up tremendously in value. I would recommend Russ to anybody that is looking to buy in the Metro Detroit area.

Russ was very helpful during the entire process. He went through our home with us and told us how we should arrange things and what to remove so that it would show well. He had a frank discussion of pricing with us and made suggestions, but always did as we asked and was never pushy. Having never sold a house before, he walked us through what we should expect and explained fees and processes with us. He took very clear and flattering pictures of our house for the listing. He was always very prompt with communication and answered any questions we had. We had to move out of the state before closing, and Russ kept us in the loop very well. He advised us and guided us during the whole process and made the entire thing much less stressful on us than it could have been. We really appreciated Russ's knowledge and experience, and I would recommend him as a seller's agent.

Russ Ravary went above and beyond in handling the listing and sale of our property. It was a very tiny lot and there was very little money to be made, but you would never have known that from his service. He showed up when he said he would, made inquiries on our behalf, and followed up with us on a regular basis. I can only imagine how happy his customers must be who are shopping for a home. I wish that he worked in the Fenton area because I would absolutely refer him to everyone I know. I highly recommend him.

Russ did an excellent job in marketing the vacant lot to builders and to the general public. We sold it in less time than the average time it takes to sell vacant lots here in Metro Detroit. Plus I got the price I wanted. The transition and closing went smooth. I would use Russ again for all my real estate transactions.

Selling my home. He met with me at my old home to review the paper work and decide on a good selling price. He put my home on the market the Following Monday and but Friday I had an offer. But the following Friday I was signing the papers to sell my home. Purchasing new home. He met with my family and we discuss what price arrange, footage, type of home and other wants we were looking for. By the evening he begun sending us homes to view and rank on his website. By the next day using our ranking he was able to arranged multiple home viewings. No luck but Russ never let up. Even through we could have been a little picky. No matter how many home we want to see he was always able to schedule viewing around my family busy schedule. A few weeks went pass, and one day Russ call up and said I have a home for you to view. We went to view the home and I am proud to say that we been living is this home since August. I think Russ is very professional and responsive. And I will refer him to friends & family.

Russ was an exceptional realtor. We were not sure we really wanted to move so Russ took us around to several Oakland County Lakes and explained about the different lakes. We found a lakefront home we really loved and had put in an offer. The sellers got another offer and tried to get out of the deal. Russ was able to negotiate and keep the deal together. He held the seller's feet to the fire and we got the home we wanted.
