My chimney had rotted boards on it that were in dire need of replacement. I hired MZK because of their knowledge of the situation and their high rating on Angie's list. MZK recommended using PVC trim so that I would never have a rot problem again. MZK took care of everything including getting matching paint, purchasing and installing the boards and painting.

Excellent. Mr. Kash came by, identified what needed to be done, did it in a timely fashion and was excellent. Quick, to the point and properly done. What more can you ask

they did a good job and cleaned up their mess when they were done. They also provided other suggestions for long term gutter guards. I would use them again.

Made appointment with office, appointment had to be rescheduled. Stated repeatedly that I wanted to be home when the roof was inspected so I could point out the problem. Was given a definite time when inspection would be done and arranged to be home at that time. However, the inspector finished another job early and showed up several hours before appointment time. I was contacted by phone but was on the other side of town and could not get home immediately. Inspector went ahead, apparently put some roofing tar on areas which I had already tarred (without fixing the problem) and left. Unprofessional and unsatisfactory.

Scheduling went really well, the receptionist was good to work with. They came out, looked over the roof and told my husband that nothing was wrong with the roof. We are still having problems with water intrusion.

The original flashing on our roof didn't go up high enough. When MZK left, he told us to give him a call after a rain if there were any remaining leaks. There was some leaking after a heavy rain and we called him back out. He came right back out and did some touch up work. He didn't charge for the second visit. It's been about 3 months since his work, and it's been working perfectly!

My experience did not go well. The gutter cleaning portion left a mess behind and I had to call them to have them clean up their mess. I also had to call them back to follow up about the roof inspection and to see the pictures they took. They missed the opportunity to present a roofing bid knowing the condition of my roof, I had to ask them about that. If they were being proactive, they would have done it without me asking.

I haven't responded, because the roof work has not yet been started/completed.

He went on the roof and said the roof was fine. It was not fine is why I called him. He said it would last another year, it did not. I think he did not not want to do the roof and it was fall so cooler weather. I called a roofing company who thoroughly inspected my roof, had to replace wood and did a great job with the new roof, professionalism and promptness all with a great price. I have not been impressed with my dealings with Angies list at all. I have had much better luck just picking a number out of the phone book. Please cancel my membership. My husband and I were not impressed with this company, but that would not stop me from using somebody else from Angies list.

That turned out fine. The guy came out and I was impressed. He stayed for about 20 minutes to half an hour. He patched a shingle and patched a hole in my chimney. He was very informative too.

He came out and looked at my roof. I told him that the flashing around my chimney was leaking and I would need that sealed. He told me he would send me a estimate. The estimate was for $575.00. I had another roofer come out and give me a free estimate of less than $300.00 for the same repair. The reason I bought the "BIG DEAL" was because they would do minor repairs when they were on the roof. It was a complete waste of money!

Do not believe gutters were cleaned. Think someone was on roof for less than 15 minutes. No contact made.

They were on time, neat and efficient. There were no spills or splashes that weren't dealt with and they even took care of some nail pops which they found as they progressed. The house has beautiful hardwood floors on the main level and I was nervous about getting paint on them, but it didn't happen. The house is relatively new, but needed some cosmetic updating. Looks great now!

They came out on November 3rd and told me I didn't need nail pops or caulking, but 2 patches on my roof needed to be repaired and I needed a new roof. Their estimate was around 2K. I know I need a new roof... I was just hoping to get a few repairs to help hold it over til spring, but I do not wish to spend 2K on roof that needs to be replaced anyway. I contacted the company and explained... they told me to contact Angie's List for a refund. I thanked them. Sorry I was so slow in doing contacting you. With the holidays, this issue got swept up in everything. I appreciate the help from Angie's List in correcting this matter. I have a couple of e-mails from them regarding the estimate. The rest of my interaction with MZK was via phone.

It was very good. They were very quick to contact us to set up an appointment. They were flexible with the time they could come. My husband actually dealt with them but he had only good things to say. They were really helpful. They explained everything about the assessment really well to him so that he was comfortable about what he wanted to do moving forward.

I signed up for the service through AngiesList on December 2. I called them and they said they would inspect our roof on December 7 or 14. I have not heard from them. Update: April 21, 2014. We had signed up through Angie's List and somehow it was lost at one end or the other. Once we had made connection and the snow had melted off the roof, the inspection was completed. The shingle that had blown off in late November, was repaired as part of the inspection. Eave trough was installed to reduce the wear on a portion of the roof that experiences significant runoff. The seal around a vent pipe had deteriorated and was replaced. We will need a new roof in a couple of years, and they will definitely be invited for a bid.

I purchased the Big deal for $149 on 11/23/2013, hoping that they would fix two to three missing shingles on my roof. I sent them an e-mail telling them that I have two or three shingles need to be fixed and Terry Kash told me that they will do any minor repairs as part of the big deal and fixing shingles will not be a problem. The owner of the company came to my home after a week on 11/30/2013. I told him before he climbed the roof that I have two or three shingles missing and I need them fixed. The reason I bought this big deal is to fix these two to three shingles. I also told him that I have plenty of new shingles in spare and all he needs to do is replace these three shingles. He told me he don't have time to fix anything at this time and will let me know later what will be done. He told me he is very busy today and been visiting lots of homes for inspection only. After about few minutes on the roof he left. Then next day I sent them an e-mail to ask when they will fix the roof. The weather was getting cold and I wanted this to be done quickly before winter snow. Then they sent me a quote for $525. They wanted to rebuild section instead of fixing two to three shingles. I was not happy with the quote so I called another company. They came immediately and replace those three shingles for $200. I could have actually got it done for less than $200 but I wanted it to be done quickly before snow arrives. So basically I got nothing out of the big deal purchase. It was a major disappointment. I will never buy a big deal or prepay again. As far as I am concerned service is not performed, only quote is provided. I already knew few shingles needed to be fixed. This big deal was worthless for me. Many companies will provide free quotes and I wish that's what I should have done in the first place.

Inspected the roof and made minor repairs. Took pictures of a few other items that needed to be taken care of and provided the pictures by email. Very pleased with service.

They were punctual, very friendly yet professional, they eased her mind regarding any concerns she had and when they were done she had them back again to get rid of any mold in her attic. I would definitely use them again when the need arises.

I asked for an estimate on another repair and I am expecting that and all other work to be performed and completed by December 15th. Service provider was prompt and professional at job site as well as getting back to me with a job quote and day to schedule the work. So far I am pleased with the interactions thus far.

I have mixed feelings about it. They came out and did the inspection. He gave me a quote on how much it would cost to fix it. He gave me a quote of $175 and I told him to come on out and do the repair. When he got out here he changed it to $350. He said that it was $175 per piece and I had two. Then he said that he should charge me travel time because this is the second time that I have come out. He did an okay job, the communication was not right. The quality was fine and he was punctual once I gave him a time. He was a nice guy and I am not sure if I would use him again.

We had purchased a big deal for the service. They came out and they did fine. They were punctual, they called ahead, and they explained everything. They didn't try to sell us anything.We didn't pay anything more than the big deal.
