It was fine. He did a good job. He did what he was suppose to do.

AC went out and I'm stuck at home sick with family coming to stay with us. Was able to get a technician insure same day as the call. The person showing up was very professional, helpful, showed up on time, and even wore show coverings going through the house. Was able to quickly discover the issue and fixed the problem along with other maintenance. Price overall was good, but it was everything else that made this a great company to work with.

I was surprised to see the high price given the service call took only 20 minutes so I Iooked up the cost of the part on line. Given it was detailed I found the actual part which retails (most likely more than they pay) for $39.95. They had charged me $250 for the part and another $100 for the 20 minute service call ($350 total). When I called Matheson and called them out on it I was told that's our pirce, and oh yeah you get a year of warranty. I had hired them earlier to install the AC/Heating unit in both my home and rental unit as I wanted to support a local business. Now I am wondering how much I overpaid for that as well.

I called on Friday for an appointment. They offered an after hours appointment for Friday evening, but to save myself money, I opted for a Monday, after noon, appointment. Jared called around 315 to let me know he'd be there within about 30 minutes. When he got here, I showed him the water softener, explained my issues & left him to check things out. He came up & told me the unit seemed to be working fine (water in & out, processing, etc.) & that there could be a salt bridging situation. He did a water test to check the hardness level, too. We had a little more conversation about some work I'd had a family member do & he excused himself & ran back down to the basement. Upon a little more investigation (based on our conversation), he discovered that a bypass valve had been opened, allowing hard water to flow freely into the house lines and NOT be diverted into the softener. He closed the valve & our issue seems to be solved. Before he left, I asked him about the banging of my pipes that happened when the washer filled. He looked at the connections & said there was an easy fix. He told me about the water hammer arrestors, said he had some in his truck & he could take care of that for me. He went out to his truck, worked up an estimate for me & brought the arrestors & the estimate back in for me to sign. He took care of that little project in about 20 minutes. Jared was friendly, helpful, knowledgeable & courteous. I've used Matheson's for trouble with our furnace but I won't hesitate to call them again should other plumbing needs arise.

I bought his Angies list deal for plumbing inspection and water heater flush on 5/9. I am writing this review on 6/17. The vendor hasn't established any contact with us in the past 6 weeks either to acknowledge the purchase or schedule an appointment. I can understand if they are busy and want to schedule an appointment later in the year, but to not even get back after repeated attempts at getting in touch with them directly and through angieslist is simply unprofessional and unacceptable. This was also my first purchase with Angieslist and needless to say that it hasn't gone well thus far. On 6/4 I got in touch with Angies list support to seek help in scheduling an appointment. As of 6/17, no meaningful help has been provided. it's sad that one gets this level of service for a paid subscription. I am going back to HomeAdvisor. I will not recommend them to anyone.

I was out of the country when my renter called to say they had no heat (and what a cold winter MI had!). My usual heating/cooling company was not able to make an emergency call (of course this was after hours). I live by Angie's List so quickly got on line and found Matheson's. Made one phone call, explained the situation and they were there within an hour. They were life savers!!!

The team showed up on a Friday and removed the old and replaced it with new high efficiency model. They worked hard and did a fine job the only negative would have been a lack of an apparent team lead to be responsible for the entire install. Overall I am happy with the vendor and would recommend them. They were not the cheapest but had a very good overall plan and it was done professionally installed. My home was clean save a few small screws and a few details that were handled with in the next few days.

My first contact with Matheson was to get a bid to convert 6 furnaces, a generator, 2 water heaters and a fireplace from propane to natural gas. The salesman "Buck" came out on time and gave me a detailed quote. As we talked, I asked about relocating one of the garage furnaces, turning another 90 degrees and adding spiral vents. Buck said this work would be no problem and could be done before or after the conversion so I scheduled it. A technician named Aaron arrived today with his helper/student Josh. They were punctual and very professional. Aaron took the time to understand what my goals were regarding the relocation of the furnace and did a very good job of meeting my expectations. All HVAC work is expensive, but Matheson was inline with or better priced than their competitors but I feel that I got more than I paid for the work performed. I look forward to Matheson returning later this summer to convert the furnaces and replace the water heaters.

It went very well. From my observation from start to finish every item on the furnace check list was performed. Every one of my questions was answered politely and in detail. The employee was very knowledgeable and professional.

Everything went well, and we'll probably use them again. The technicians were very knowledgeable, very conscientious in the work that they did, and did a quality job in all respects. Furthermore, they arrived right on time and called ahead of their arrival which we appreciated.

Never having been a customer of Matheson previously, we called for service on our air conditioning unit on a Friday morning, and they scheduled a service appointment the same day. Travis was a rock star. He quickly determined that a rodent had taken up residence in our air conditining unit over the winter and had chewed through some wires. He made the necessary repairs, and was on his way. I had been expecting to hear that the unit needed to be replaced (what do we know about air conditioners?). I can't recall when I've been so happy to spend $158.

This company was nothing but professional from the time of my first call for an estimate throughout the completion of the job. All the workers were polite and competent. They also took great care to protect our home furnishings, and cleaned up after themselves very well. We are happy with their products and customer service, and would highly recommend this company for any heating and cooling needs.

it went perfectly. Rich was professioal. from the time i called the office, within 10 minutes, rich called to say he was on his way. he was here almost 2 hours to make sure my furnace was running properly. would definitly refer them.

The technician came on time and tuned up the furnace. He was friendly and advised us about various HFAC things to do to save on energy.

The 2 man crew arrived on time and were very professional. They removed my old 50 gallon hot water tank and installed a new 50 gallon hot water tank. They kept everything clean and were very careful as they carried the old hot water tank upstairs.

He let us know when he was coming to our house and arrived on time. He checked out our air conditioning unit, told us how he did it and was gone. He was professional - nice guy.
