Description of Work: Tried to rip me off by alleging problem was thermostat. Removed thermostat to replace with a 29.00 item at cost of 234.00. Work was horrific. They did not reinstall the thermostat, when I did I found out why, it worked. Initially pilot was out, whatever they did in that regard worked.

Description of Work: I purchased a Angie's List coupon for the furnace checkup. When I called the company I mentioned that the furnace was working sporadically. When the tech arrived I was informed that they had this appointment as a furnace problem and charged me a service call and parts. I could not use my furnace check coupon but as it never expires, I will use next fall. The tech was great. Explained the problem showed me the parts and was done in a short time.

Description of Work: I called on a Tuesday, had an estimate on Wednesday, and a new A/C system was installed on Thursday morning. The salesman was informative and listened to what I wanted. He looked the system over and suggested adding a Carrier humidifier to our heating system and a Carrier A/C unit to replace our 25-year-old Payne A/C. Total cost was approx. $3800. Installation was quick (3 hours) and professional. The installers thoroughly explained the new unit and ran it through several cycles until they were confident it was ready to go. We've been using it for a week and it works like a charm. This is the second time I've called on Matheson for A/C installation (two different homes and 10 years between) and I have been very pleased both times. I would recommend them to anyone looking for service or a new heating or cooling system.

I have friends in Commerce area that just swear by these guys because they are always good. That was my experience as well

Description of Work: Had a new furnace installed. Not the cheapest estimate out there, but not the worse. Guys seem to have done a good job. Had 2 zones and didn't work properly at first, but they were happy to come back and fix what needed to be fixed. Estimated at 2 days, took 6. Other than the hassle of having to be home to let them in for an extra 4 days, the process was pretty painless. Aron was very knowledgeable, helpful, and I would have him come back for when I need another furnace replaced.

Both occasions they were professional in every aspect and reasonably priced. They were referred to me from someone that used them as her source for a new furnace.
