James called me to let me know he was actually running a little earlier than scheduled and to inquire if it was alright to come about 30 minutes before our planned time. Since it worked out for my schedule, I was glad to have them come early. James was thorough and professional and also quoted me on another potential service (duct cleaning for my 3100 sq ft home) that I will be considering in the near future. I enjoyed the experience with Matheson so much, that I had my Mom call them a couple weeks later when her furnace died during one of Michigan's extremely cold snaps. They were just as thorough, professional, and competitively priced with her experience as well.

I bought the tune-up coupon because of my previous experience with Matheson and the very favorable reviews on Angie's list. Making the appointment was easy and the tech came on-time for the appointment. I had a minor issue a few weeks prior with a drain line being blocked and some leakage . I explained this to the tech who listened to the issue and then proceeded to inspect the furnace. He seemed to be very thorough in his inspection and showed me exactly what had occurred with the blocked line. I was happy with his professionalism and the patience he demonstrated in the time he took to review my furnace operation with me. I will use Matheson in the future.

Nothing more could be desired from their service.

The pipe that connects our boiler system to the expansion tank broke, and one of our baseboard radiator pipes broke since water froze inside it. We called Matheson since they have really good reviews but they response was really slow specially when the heat was not working in our house and the temperature outside was under 32 F. At the end they fix everything but It took a while. They came many times (maybe 5 ) because they did not have the right equipment or parts or they sent some body that was not the specialist that could fix our plumbing issues. We also had to call them back when they said they were going to call us to schedule our next appointment since the work they were hired for was not completed Unfortunately after the first visit we thought they did a good job and we bought their annual maintenance plan, but now I regret because we are stuck with them for a year

It went well. We had signed up for a years worth of furnace or a/c service with free (prepaid) labor and pay for parts. This furnace started to work intermittently and they came right out. Though they had to order the part they got it quickly and installed the day it came in.

Since Matheson already had good reviews and was local and family owned, I stopped by their office to get a feel for the operation. The lady at the front desk was friendly and professional and called one of the family members to give me a quote. From prior research, the estimate sounded good. The price with installation and removal of the old unit was minimally more than what websites quoted for the water heater alone. The installation was scheduled just a few days later and everything was completed and cleaned up in a punctual and professional manner. We will keep Matheson as a possibility if/when we have any heating/cooling issues down the road. My only regret was that I forgot to mention the possible senior discount that was shown on their Angie's List page.

It was fine. They came out almost right away. Our interaction with them was positive. They were punctual.

It went well. There was a snafu with the scheduling. They did not come out the first day scheduled, and I had to call for the 2nd day. But the work they did was well done.

Matheson is professional. They show up on time and provide great service. I would not hesitate to recommend them to family and friends.

After I purchased the deal, they never got back to me. I have contacted Angie’s List for a refund on the deal.

Excellent, punctual and professional service. Technician called ahead, arrived on time. He went over all the details with me and patiently discussed the background of the home, the furnace and all that he was going to review. Very helpful and I've seen an improvement in the operation of the unit.

Our furnace went out in the coldest part of winter and we called Matheson Heating and they came out right away and gave us our options. The rep gave us three different furnace options, the low end, mid, and higher cost, more energy efficient model. The rep explained all of the pros and cons of each model, which helped us decide which one we wanted. We decided that morning which furnace we wanted, and he went and picked up the furnace that afternoon and came to the house with a coworker the very first thing the next morning and had the work completed by noon. We have our furnace checked and cleaned every year in the fall, and the reps are always on time and professional. I definitely would recommend them without reservation.

We have used Matheson multiple times in our 28 years in this house. They are always prompt, professional and do the work for a reasonable price. The last time they were out, my husband thought the price to repair was high, the technician advised my husband that if my husband chose to replace the part himself and had difficulty, give Matheson's a call and they would be happy to assist.

They were on time, professional, cleaned up after themselves and were very respectful. I recently referred them to one of my friends who's furnace quit during this cold weather. Their normal company could not come out. Matheson was out within hours and had them fixed immediately. Was very pleased with this company.

They never contacted us after I had purchased the big deal through Angie's List. I had to contact them to schedule an appointment. They are pretty well recommended and have a decent reputation. There was one technician here doing the work and he was punctual.

Technician performed his work as far as we can tell. Suggested a new humidifier which I agree with but overall did not try to sell us something we did not need.

It was all right. It was a bit interesting but we probably could have gotten the same thing out of our insulation guy. They were all right. They also didn’t call me to see if I wanted them to do the work. The guys were really nice. They had the equipment to do the job.

We had had their Angie's list Energy Audit and Furnace tuneup. We knew our furnace was old, but the tech pointed out how much the big, inefficient furnace was wasting, and said the clunking in our hot water heater was mineral rocks circulating, and it was near failure. We got everything done on the same day and had some installation and duct cleaning scheduled for a few weeks later (delayed about a month by an illness on the team.) The hot water heater tech forgot to turn on the new heater after cycling it for testing, That was the only nit to pick. They're not the cheapest around, but they provide high quality equipment (Carrier) and service. I'll be calling their plumbing division for an estimate soon.

It was alright. There are some other companies who offer the same thing for half the price but I don't know if it's the same product that they would install. The experience was fine. The price was kind of high. They had somebody install it and it didn't work so they had to send somebody back out the next day and it ended up being just a small solenoid, something stupid that should have been done right the first time. In the end, it still works fine.

Although arrival time was 2 hrs late, I was totally ok with it as we had been having frigid, windy, below zero weather for an extended period of time & many homes without heat. I also received a 10% senior citizen discount, & the part price was comparable to other vendors. Very professional!!!!

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for this service and it was good. He did a good job and was very neat about it. He said that something broke and he replaced it with a new part free of charge. He did what he was supposed to do. Of the companies that were listed his was a few dollars cheaper. They listed what they were going to do and he seemed to have the most important things listed I needed. I have no complaints and the pricing was very good. They came when they said they were going to come. I had to call back because my call was lost or misplaced somewhere, but he came after he said he was coming that particular day. He really was very nice and professional.

even though the warranty had expired, the repairs were mostly covered by warranty. did a great job totally rebuilding carrier gas furnace

Guy was on time. did all the required inspection and clean up to the furnace parts. and left. very professional and very efficient
