Bos Moving & Service

Mark Bos himself came out to do the estimate and the guys that did the moving did a great job. They were friendly and courteous, worked quickly, handled our furniture with care and treated everything as if it was their own. I don't plan on ever moving again, but if I do I would use them and I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

All 4 men were very polite and professional, great teamwork. They utilized every minute as if they were paying for the job themselves.

I want to thank you for your excellent service. Your men are a great asset to your company. Our move was completed efficiently, our furniture was treated respectfully and they were very careful with our stairs and walls. I would highly recommend you company. Excellent service from the time I spoke to Nettie who answered all my questions, set up appointment for move, went over items and approx. cost as well as the two great guys Don Z & Terry who took great care of the furniture. No floors were scratched nor were any walls marred. They were very professional & friendly. I highly recommend BOS. Great service & a job well done.

I would recommend Bos Moving to anyone who is looking for a moving company. I have used several company's in the past and have not had a bad experience with them but the guys( Bruce and Dan) that came to move me from Bos Moving were so fast and efficient they had me loaded and on the road to Grand Rapids in one hour. The final price moving that far was the least expensive out of all the company's I called half of what I was quoted from 2 men and their truck ;). Bruce even called after leaving to thank me for the tip I gave them. They were great not one thing damaged going that far.

From the first phone call to the end of the job, it was an absolute pleasure to work with Bos. We had used them 11 years ago for our own move and they've maintained their high quality. Scheduling was simple. The crew (Don & Terry) showed up on time. They were professional, friendly, fast, efficient and provided a great experience. They were very careful with the items being moved. The price was very reasonable. We had gotten a quote from another local company that came in at twice what Bos charged. We disregarded the few poor reviews and don't agree with the B rating for this company. We'd give them an A+ if we could. We would hire them again and highly recommend them to anyone planning a move of any type.

It went great! The guys did a wonderful job. They moved all of our heaviest furniture and boxes in less than two hours, and did not intentionally run the clock out on us. They were on time and set right to work, no time wasted.

These are not piano movers. I have had two different movers over the years. BOS did not have the proper equipment. We were lucky no damage was done. They hit the wallpaper on the way up. The dolly was just a common dolly. It put a lot of stress on the one side of the piano.

It went really well. They were on time and efficient. I obtained a couple of quotes and their pricing was very competitive. They dropped off a set of mattresses at a nearby location as well. Nothing was damaged. I would recommend Bos to people.

Everything went great moving my wife's belongings from her house to the house we are living in and also to a storage unit. We mostly had large furniture and boxes we couldn't easily move ourselves. Three people were quoted, but only two were available that day... but they had no problem getting everything done in a timely manner.

Moving went very well. Can't say enough GOOD about Don and A.J. - they were awesome! Worked hard - very pleasant and respectful! I would ask for these two again!!

Better than expected. They were not only punctual, they worked so quickly and efficiently, I only had to pay the minimum fee.

Had the most lovely movers today... who sadly are employed by a company who puts its own interest above that of their customer. Had a previous experience with Bos Moving when I moved up to Michigan and they unloaded my Penske truck. Could not have been more pleased, so when this move came up, of course I went right back to them. Asked Mark Bos to come out and do an estimate so I could determine if I could use a Pod or needed a larger truck. He did an in-person estimate, and assured me a 16' pod would be plenty. You can see where this is going. When Mark was here, I specifically asked if any of his men might be interested in my hiring them to drive a larger truck to Florida, and he quickly replied that none would. Fast forward to loading day. Don and Chino arrived and were absolute perfection. Fast, friendly, helpful, cheerful and GOOD! I've never seen such a tight pack before. I know my belongings will arrive across country in good condition. Sadly, the 16' Pod is several feet too small. So now, instead of an easy drive in my car down to Florida with my furbabies in comfortable seats and nicely separated, I'm going to be in a rental truck with my car towed behind and both my cat and dog in the cab with me - less than ideal is not even close to a proper description of that situation for all three of us in that truck. We will all arrive more fatigued, stressed, and emotional. Then there's the cost. I could see under-estimating if it meant more money to Mr. Bos, but it doesn't It was labor only, no equipment included. Instead, I'm out almost $2K more to rental companies than if he had estimated correctly in the first place. Not to mention both Don and Chino would have LOVED to drive my belongings in the proper-sized vehicle. So for Don and Chino 5 enthusiastic stars, but for Bos Moving and Service 1 star, as there is no excuse for such an experienced professional to so grossly underestimate space. I'm beyond disappointed. He is a great judge of employees, not so much of equipment space needs.

The team of guys we had moving us were awesome (3 guys for 9 hours to move an 1800 sq ft house)! They showed up on time with the truck specified during the estimate. They did a quick walk through and then got right to work. They took very minimal breaks and the breaks they took were short and they never left the premises. They showed up at 9am and worked straight through until the entire house was loaded at 2pm. They only took lunch once the truck was loaded and we were heading to the new house (and it was a short lunch break). They were polite, pointed out deficiencies in our furniture before moving them and were careful with everything they touched (nothing was damaged during the move). When unloading in the new house, they never put anything up against a wall (something my husband really respected) and took care to protect the carpet from foot traffic. The price was very reasonable and matched up to what was quoted. We would hire them again and recommend them to anyone looking for movers.

Excellent-The question would you hire them again - You Bet and I did and I would recommend them to family and friends and even strangers if they asked. I had Kevin and Jeff handle one move for me and when I needed help moving other items I called asked for Kevin and Danny. Kevin is great he takes a solid look at what needs to be done and then it's done. Efficient, mindful of your property and never a complaint or whine. Great guys and the office staff is helpful and customer orientated

It was a total nightmare. We had two days to turn over our keys. I was originally told that there would be a two-man crew. The morning of the move, I received a call from the driver asking if they could bring a third person to help. The rate would go up, but the move would be faster, and it would come out about the same. I agreed. When the crew showed up and introduced themselves, I asked them if they were going to remove their shoes after waking through my nasty garage--they said they don't do that. I then asked if they had any shoe protectors--again, no. They said they would wipe their shoes off on my mat. I told them that I wasn't crazy about that, but they could go ahead anyway. At this point, I felt I had no choice. After they did their walk through (with their shoes on) they disappeared. They walked off the job and never gave any explanation whatsoever. Not even any indication they were leaving. I contacted their dispatcher, in a panic. She called the driver and then the owner. When she called me back the last time she simply said that we had gotten off on the wrong foot and that the crew was not coming back. They left us hanging--I was livid--totally panicked about the move after spending the whole weekend packing. It was a complete nightmare. I contacted Two Men and a Truck; the dispatcher at the Waterford office was able to arrange a crew with less than 24 hours' notice. Their people asked if I would prefer that they remove their shoes before doing their walk-through. They then explained how we could protect our very light-colored carpeting during the move. Bos did none of this. My recommendation is go with ANYONE other than Bos. They left us hanging--in the worst-possible situation, and the owner did not care at all.

We hired a team of three movers for our cross town move. The team showed up on time, were friendly, quick, and courteous, and were incredibly careful with all of our furniture. They did an excellent and safe job moving our spinet piano.

Everything went well. Bruce and Joe were great. Very professenal. They took great care of my belongings. They both have great since of humor. This was a pleasure to use this company.

Moving is always a pain but these guys made it much easier. The guys were very pleasant and professional.

They did a horrible job packing the truck. When the arrived 1000 cds fell out as well as other items. They did not put things where they were labeled to put and one worker complained nonstop and kept "reminding" me that he deserved a tip. Some of the workers were very good, a couple were not. They also added 1 more to the crew, so it cost me 25% more. They informed me when they arrived. I thought that was unprofessional.
