They were great, hardworking guys.

The 2 men were very professional and helpful. No damage was done to any item, many of them heavy and awkward. They placed everything were requested, in a 1920's 2-story house, including Michigan basement and somewhat-narrow stairways. This was the best moving experience I have had. The staff were intelligent, diligent and careful. The whole load and move, which filled about 1/2 of the largest-size moving van, and covered a distance of 25 miles, took about 6 hours.

The family packed mother's belongings while she was in hospital, recovering from surgery. Moving from a condo to assisted living meant considerable "downsizing", but she did not want to part with many possessions so some furniture and boxes were moved to a rented storage facility. The BOS two-man crew arrived on time, and packed the truck with the understanding they would be unloading at two locations. The assisted living home had only a small elevator to move furniture and boxes to the second floor, which required many trips. No articles were damaged. The job was completed on time and at the quoted price. Overall a good experience and we would use their services again.

I don?t remember the price exactly but I remember not having a problem with it. They took very good care of my things but one inexperienced guy dropped a bed on his finger. They got him to a hospital and got another guy to take over so it took all day. I would use more experienced people next time.

I am so pleased that we selected Bos Moving for our move. They were recommended to me by another moving company, but I still had reservations. I have had REALLY bad experiences with movers in the past (broken items, "missing" items, damage to furniture and walls). I called Bos and spoke with Marsha. She was very friendly and very helpful. She assured me that if anything was damaged, Bos would take care of it for me. If any damage occurred to my house, Marsha told me that the actual owner would come out and handle it for me personally. We had a relatively small move. Bos sent out two men - Steve and Josh. They were on time, prompt, and moved quickly. They did not take any breaks, and they worked really well together as a team. They were extremely professional and even helped put felt "protector feet" on my new furniture "off the clock." Josh and Steve were really good sports even though it was a 90 degree day with 100% humidity. There was no damage to my fiance's old house, and they left my new house in perfect condition. The furniture arrived in perfect shape, and they assembled it and re-assembled it perfectly. I am extremely pleased, and I recommend Bos Moving. Bos gives estimates based on how many hours the move takes. Marsha estimated that I needed 4 hours, but the guys were done in 2 hours. I am so pleased that I am going to use Bos again this Fall when I need to move some items from storage into my new home. And, I am going to request Josh and Steve. I highly recommend!

I originally contacted BOS just to have them move a 57 inch projection TV which weighs about 270 pounds. Since stairs were involved 3 men were required @ $115/hr. There was a $90 charge for the truck and a $10/man "stair charge." Since BOS charges for a least 1 hour and I didn't think it would take 3 men an hour to move just the TV, I decided to have them move some additional items (an elliptical machine and about 20 - 25 boxes.) Since it was a short drive to the house and there were 3 guys, I guessed they could complete the job in 1 hour and 15 minutes. (I had already moved most of my stuff myself so this was an educated guess.) The 3 men were polite and professional and worked at a decent pace. One guy spent a fair amount of time wrapping the TV in furniture pads and shrink wrap so most of the items were loaded into the truck by 2 people. The 3 of them got the TV safely down the stairs. After I saw them all get into their truck, I drove over to the house. They arrived at the house a few minutes later than I expected. The unloading of the truck went pretty quickly. Afterwards there were a few minutes where we all waited while one guy finished doing something in the truck. At least part of the time he was sweeping. Ultimately the job took an hour and a half. Based on what saw I think it probably could have been done in an hour and 15 so I'm giving them a 'B' rather than an 'A'. I would use them again.

I used BOS Moving 11 years ago and was extremely satisfied so I called them again for this move. This time I found Mark and the crew he sent professional, punctual and willing to do whatever necessary to accomplish the move. On the positive side, the crew was friendly and helpful and all three spent time at the end locating the shelves for a garage unit that ended up being found in the basement. They were knowledgeable and knew what items would break if placed on certain edges and took the care not to break furniture. On the negative side, moving is a young man's game and 11 years ago I had a crew of 3 young, strong men. This time, I only had one young guy on the crew and it impacted my move in two ways. It took longer than expected which caused me to go over the estimated cost. Part of this overage was that my new home was more difficult to move into but a large portion of it was the stamina of my crew and the breaks they needed to take. In addition, almost everything was "dollied" instead of hand carried. Although I don't have the nicest furniture, most of the heaviest items show scuff marks from being dollied instead of hand carried. Nothing broken or even that needs repair but just scuffs. I think this company provides good service but in hindsight, I would ask them to use two people to hand carry in my heavier wood furniture to avoid this issue. They took a lot of care (without me asking) with my antique kitchen table and it was hand carried both in and out as well as covered and it had no issues.

Bos Moving moved an apartment of furniture to a home that already had furniture in it. My friend was moving in with me and we were rather worried about the moving. There are so many horror stories about dishonest movers. So we checked on Angie?s List and found this company highly rated. It was the only company he called. When he called the company he was delighted that he actually got a person. At no time did he have to go through a telephone tree or leave a message. They asked about his move and then called the company that he hired to pack his things. Apparently both companies knew what they were doing, because Bos used the information they got from the packing company and called him back with an estimate. The estimate was between $400 and $480 dollars. The bill was $480. We were impressed. Steve and Josh showed up on time, were extremely polite and knew what they were doing. When they came to unload the furniture and boxes at my house they were very willing to move things around and then move them again when I changed my mind about something. They moved a piano (among other things) and needed to go upstairs, main level and the basement to put everything where it belonged. When I was stumped about some things Steve offered some good suggestions. They never made me feel as if we were asking too much. When we move again we will definitely use them again.

I had a ton of stuff to move. The morning of the move they called and added a third mover to make things move along faster. They were friendly and efficient and managed to get things done as it was specified on the estimate I got in advance. I was shocked that they were able to fit all of my things in one truck (last time I moved it took 2). When we got to my new residence there were a few bumps, as the girl upstairs was trying to move out at the same time we were moving in (after promising me she'd be done by time we got there) and they didn't hesitate to make sure that I got priority and they worked around her and got me moved in in record time. Other than one piece of art that got packed into storage that I still haven't found, there wasn't a single thing damaged or scratched. I would use this company again and highly recommend them.

We didn?t like BOS Moving & Service at all. They weren?t professional at all. They left scuff marks all of our furniture. When we did the contract with them, we did it for both packing and moving. However, initially while they came out, they didn?t do the packing at all. We had to remind them what they had come out to do. They came unprepared. The supervisor, who was packing our room, threw our things into a garbage bag instead of packing them in boxes. If they had done the job well, they would have been worth the price we had paid for. We will not be using them again.

Pleasant, careful, on time. Second time I've used Bos for moving.

Went fine. They arrived on time. Only a couple of minor scuff marks because the pieces were so large to move up and down the stairwell to and from the basement, which was to be expected.

Bos Moving & Service will do whatever you need, such as storing things, rearranging furniture, storing things and moving whole households. They are very reliable and will be where you want them, when you want them. I'm very satisfied with this company. Their prices are fine.

The crew of three were professional and had good attitudes. It was a pleasure working with Rafael, Bill and Wayne.

Two movers arrived on time at 10 am in East Lansing. They arrived at my home at 1 pm. They were professional, careful, and seemed to enjoy their job. I asked them to move a few extra things and they did so willingly, even though it was 99 degrees outside. The only thing that I was not told by the office was a separate fee for moving a big screen tv down to the basement. Although it was nominal, I would have liked to know. I received a reminder call the day before the move. All in all, it was a good experience and they were priced well below the other companies I contacted. I would use them again.

THE EXPERIENCE WAS GREAT. THE MOVE WENT SMOOTHLY WITH NO SLIP UPS. THE COMPANY HAS A GOOD REPUTATION AND THEY WERE HIGHLY RECOMMENDED TO ME. THE THREE GUYS MOVING US WERE CAREFUL WITH THE FURNITURE AND NOTHING WAS BROKEN.

WE DID NOT HAVE A PROBLEM WITH THE PRICE. HOWEVER, THEY BROKE SOME OF OUR PERSONAL BELONGINGS AND DID NOT REPORT ANYTHING. IT DID NOT SHOW ANY PROFESSIONALISM AT ALL. WE WERE VERY UNHAPPY.

THIS COMPANY WAS VERY CAREFUL WITH ALL OF MY FURNITURE. THEY MADE SURE ALL OF MY BREAKABLES WERE WRAPPED UP. THEIR PROFESSIONALISM WAS THE BEST AND THEY DID A GREAT JOB.
