HEAVEN SCENT CARPET & UPHLSTRY

I've used Heavenscent for the last several years and have always been satisfied until last Friday. I came home to soaking wet carpets 4 hours after they left. My husband had 3 fans blowing on the carpet and the heat turned up to 80 degrees and it took over 20 hours to dry. My carpets didn't look any cleaner after they were serviced by Heavenscent. I called Keith and he gave me several reasons as to why my carpet still looked the same as before they started. He even asked me to send pictures of my carpets, so I did. The indents from the furniture didn't even fluff back up....Keith told me that was normal but I know its not. He said he would give me a deal to come back and clean them again. WHAT???? I called Mr. Clean's Cleaning & Restoration to clean them again. They came yesterday and my carpets look so much better and were dry in a few hours. Not only are my carpets cleaner, the furniture marks came out. I'm out a $110 for Heavenscent's poor service and so disappointed in how Keith (Heavenscent owner) and Scott (his employs) treated me during this entire situation.

I had a small leak in my basement and contacted Heaven Scent which came into my home and did such a poor job and damaged my personal property. Heaven Scent came to do a very small job and ended up damaging personal property and then upon showing the owner Keith Polasky he became beligerent. His employee that was there said in front of me confirmed that it was not damaged when they came here but in from of Keith then of course changed his story. I have numerous pictures of how the rooms looked before from photos and how they look after they were there after just 4 hours of working just throwing everything around. Not caring for personal belonging, precious, breakable items. I had to hire another company that not only had to clean up their mess and damage but to do the job they not only didn't do because they walked off the job. But to do it the right way and take proper care of my belongings. It is truly sad, I have hired them in the past for carpet cleaning and bed cleaning. They did ok. My husband and I had been doing some of the clean up down stairs after we noticed the problem after we contacted the insurance company while we were looking for a contractor and found out we could get a company to clean up. Now I know why he was available and the others were booked. When I tried to contact him to settle things civilly and ask for his insurance information he threatened to take me to court knowing my insurance would pay him for the crappy unfinished work he did. For the 4 hours his company did on and off 2 employees which 1 left which then left one here for most of the time, pretty much throwing my belongings around and even dropped items in front of me. My home looked like a tornado hit it after they left. My carpet from them going in and out was wet and dirty and they left it like that and he even made the comment that there Was dog **** on it, I'm sure they walked through some since they were coming in and out through the back door (which no one uses) so if it was tracked in it was by them. He said he has been in business for over 17 years but negative comments get deleted off his page and people have to try to repost them. I had been blocked from posting my review until I had made comments to that affect and then was able to post finally. There was something that was submitted to my insurance company that I had signed and after Keith had left he had added a side note which I was not aware of which my agent sent me a copy of which I consider fraudulent. Adding comments or anything after a document is signed I do believe is illegal unless initialed. I wonder how many other documents he has done this to that other people have not caught or insurance companies? I have mailed the payment in full to Keith/Heaven Scent on Tuesday November 25, 2018 but his business should not be taking advantage of people and people be aware of what his and his company do. They also track dog poop onto my carpet and other debris and they were suppose to clean it up. Keith thought it was funny to send me his “new ad” recently of his carpet cleaning of a dog peeing on carpet and his ad for him to clean it. That’s so professional. Grow up already.

Heaven Scent is the ONLY company I'll ever use for both my business and my home. They are always on time and always under budget.

Quality exceeded expectations Very pleased with professionalism and knowledge of employees

Company unplugged sump pump resulting in overflow: the sump pump was unplugged as an outlet was needed for their air duct cleaning equipment. The sump pump was not plugged back in resulting in an overflow (see pictures). The reason they were called in the first place was because we had mold/mildew issues from a faulty sump pump which was replaced prior to their visit. Their actions almost caused a repeat of the same problem. Did not honor valid, non-expired superbook coupon: we called the company because they advertised a discount in the local superbook but they refused to honor this coupon, which was only a $50 discount on several hundred dollars worth of work. Did not clean up: left furniture pushed away from the wall and ducts. Some dirt and dust from ducts left around the duct. Took 2X longer than stated: Was supposed to take a half day but they were there for 8 hours instead. The two kids that came out were nice enough, made them coffee in the morning and bought them lunch, the issue is the owner is not committed to customer service. After a few phone calls the day of the service and multiple phone calls after, he still does not seem to believe what I'm telling him nor does he care. Twice he has agreed to send a check for $50 and has not done so either time. His reasoning seems to be that if he's already lost me as a customer, why give me money? No sense of responsibility to make it right - I would not recommend Keith and I would not trust him either.

They were great. There was a power outage here so there were a lot of requests for carpet cleaning restoration. They came out on short notice and got things set up. They came in and took care of what they needed to do and it was just a great overall experience with them in terms of timing, professionalism and response. They priced appropriately.

I had a coupon for this service. They have done my carpet several times and I have always been happy with the price.
