Stop reading the reviews and just CALL STEVEN! After buying a 100+ year old home with sagging floors, I scoured the internet for reviews of a great engineer. Steven is so much more than that! He was able to analyze all of our structural issues AND design and create Architectural Drawings for a large dormer! He's not only a one-stop shop for any needs you may have for your renovation - he develops MULTIPLE SOLUTIONS for your unique situation. Specifically he was able to design a dormer and internal support which all tied together and essentially fixed two issues with one design! Then to make things even better, he was able to communicate directly with my contractor and offer him multiple ways to address each issue - allowing my contractor to pick the most cost effective route. Steven has a unique blend of the ability to see the big picture, design really creative solutions, and at the same time not 'over-engineer' a solution which some others tend to do! If we ever need anything structural or architectural again we will be calling Steven!

While doing the walkthrough, he was very porfessional and kept a good, open dialogue about what he noticed as concerns and things that were positive. He did a great job of assessing and inspecting all of the areas I had a concern with and made sure to point out and make me aware of the things that I wasn't aware of. Between addressing concerns, he was able to give insight about how the issues should best be repaired. I would and will happily contact Steve again for future structural and inspection issues.

Steven Whitican, answered all our questions and concerns plus gave us more information and resources that was so helpful. He was professional and very through.
