All Time Movers

When I got to the storage facility, there were 3 men whom I had not seen in my previous moves. They looked dissheveled and appeared to be under some kind of influence. In addition to me assisting the movers with the move, one took it upon himself to urinate on the side of the moving company. I called the owner about the movers and how I felt uncomfortable as a woman and the owner immediately became irate. When we got to the location of the drop off 15 minutes later the driver stumbled out of the vehcile and said change of plans I needed $300 for my belongings. I told them the agreement was to tip them because it was an emergent move and he was assisting me out of good customer relarions. Well thr owner being on the phone tells them to pull off with my items. They pull off, I call the owner back, he yells all manner of expletives at me, tells me to find someone to "spread my legs" to and come up with the move money plus storage fees. I filed a police report and the owner called me the next day again wanting me now to meet him at a uhaul facility . I forgot to mention this time around, his original truck was not present, it was a uhaul. The owner wanted me to meet him give him money for the retrieval of my items and find someone else to move them. I will be filing suit. I dont want the items back, God knows what those men did to them. God will deal with him.

The service went great. I paid an additional fee for the truck. I feel like the ad could have been clearer about not including the truck. Two movers came out and completed the move in 2 hours. They did a great job and did everything we asked. Nothing was damaged during the move. They moved a lot of heavy items without any complaints. They were able to fit a lot more in the truck than we would have thought. I had no problem scheduling the deal. They were late but they called to let us know. I would definitely use them again.

I have already used them several times actually. They are professional and on time. They are also honest. Great guys, overall.

I ended up not moving so I did not use this deal but the company was professional and responsive in our interactions.

I think the description of the services that was posted on Angie's List was incorrect. The approach was deceptive. It implied that the entire service was available for that price. That price was I believe the same price as what I paid with the other moving company. There were hidden costs. I didn't find them responsive at all. I would tell friends and neighbors not to use them. They should be more responsive and they need to be more transparent about the service they provide. I got my money back.

Got there 3 hours late/ truck they brought was half the size of what was needed/apparently they only have 1 large truck and it broke down. What should have taken 3 hours took 6 because they had to make several trips even though they knew all the furniture that was supposed to be moved...

They were very courteous and efficient.

We used Movers R Us to move into our first home, they were by far the slowest moving crew that I have ever encountered...but they were very careful with all of our things and had a fair price. It took about 3 hours longer than they estimated, and I wouldn't use them again because of that, but they were polite and very careful with all of our things.

Even though Tyrone and Kingston were a few minutes late they were able to move around pieces of furniture in my home, rolled up a rug and moved boxes around in my basement. They even gave me their opinions on pieces of furniture that they had moved as to whether they thought it fit in well in particular areas. They moved my vacuum cleaner around wherever needed. Tyrone and Kingston were very respectful and responsive to everything that needed to be done. They even brought in a dolly to move around many boxes in my basement. They were able to finish everything that I needed and more. I would not hesitate to use them again!

Setting up the appointment was a little messy. They ended up emailing me someone else's invoice, which is a little disturbing, since I am protective of my personal information and would have hated it if anyone else had any information that I gave to a company. However, mistakes happen, and I just kind of brushed it off. The appointment times seemed flexible enough and they were willing to work around my schedule. The move from the other house was fine, but when we got to my house, they started moving the desk in and dinged a big mark on my wall. When I brought it to their attention, they said they were running late and they would need to come back to fix it another time, which is understandable and fine. However, after a few months of emailing them, I received a response that they just needed a time and date for the following week. I responded and they never contact me again since. The email address that I had is now returning a "full mailbox" alert back to me, so I am assuming they are just never coming back to fix my wall. I guess I am giving such low marks because these are the grades that would warn me from using them if I saw them on Angie's List, but not necessarily deter me completely. For movers, I think the main thing I look for is for them not to break anything, and certainly not damage the house in doing so. Since they were not able to provide that level of service, I have to persuade others to look somewhere else. In terms of professionalism, I do not like having to keep going after someone for a response, so be wary. I am pretty laid back and patient with contractors because I know they can be overworked, so if you are that type of person that trusts them to do things without micromanaging and staying on their case, I would recommend looking elsewhere. Otherwise, you might have better luck than me.

The move went very well and within the time allowed by voucher with no overage. Kingsley and Justin were very polite and professional. I had moved a lot of the smaller items and restricted the inventory to be moved to just the larger items. They worked quickly and carefully, covering items in the truck with blankets and strapping items down so they wouldn't bounce around in the truck. They drove directly to my new home, they actually beat me there. They asked where every item should go, set up my bed for me and assembled the dining room table. They were through so quickly and early that they volunteered to help me unload items from my car as well. Very helpful. My only criticism would be with the lack of communication. Once I selected a moving date, I received an email requesting an inventory of items to be moved and some other information. When I did not respond in a timley manner, there was no follow up on the business owner's part. When I did respond with the information requested I did not receive any confirmation of receipt of that data. I actually had to call the day before my scheduled move to verify that it was still on their schedule.

It was a long move from Michigan to Florida. There was no damage and they did a great job packing and moving me. They were on time and I would recommend them. It is a family business.

Great people, Hard workers. I have already recommended to few my friends

The movers arrived on time and were polite and professional. I take no issue with the individuals providing the service. However, I was quoted a price of $368 for my move and ended up being charged over $500, including tip. I admit it did not occur to me at the time, amidst the chaos of moving, that no documents were presented to me and I never signed any paperwork. An individual from the office took my AMEX information over the phone but I was not made aware of the final charges until my AMEX statement arrived. While I hope this was an unfortunate oversight and not representative of how the company conducts itself, the idea makes me rather uncomfortable. In retrospect it was foolish of me to allow my belongings to be loaded on a truck and driven away with no written agreement.

Very hard working, professional, and able to accommodate us and any special requests

They came yesterday morning. We thought they did a really great job! The guys they sent were great! They worked hard. They didn’t waste time. They were very professional. They were very careful with my belongings. They moved me about 3 miles. We were emptying my mother-in-laws apartment. The only negative thing was that they were supposed to arrive at 9. They called and re-scheduled and asked to come at 2, but then they arrived at 11 in the morning. It was a little bit of a mix up, but they still finished on time.

They originally said the move would only take five hours, but ended up taking nine and a half. When they came out to do the move, it wasn’t originally the Movers R Us people we spoke with. They ended up contracting the work out. Some of our furniture was damaged. The only option they gave us was to take the furniture out and have it repaired by them. However, we didn’t want to move the furniture again with having the possibility to damage them again. I felt that the damage could have been avoided had they put furniture cushions on top of our bedroom set. Overall, they arrived on time, but they didn’t follow all of the directions I had advised them of. I would hire them again because they offered to repair the damages.

They were late (but did call) they did not bring the tools promised and borrowed mine. Also they had their girlfriend in the car. They just loaded the truck. We thought we were hiring professional movers but they offered no suggestions and we felt anyone could have done what they did. We paid we thought for professional movers. Just found out this morning that my grandfather clock needs a total repair. It was not moved correctly - the "professional" movers just belted it to the side of the truck instead of removing the mechanism (as required) and now it will cost hundreds of dollars to be repaired. No, I will never recommend this company.

The Courteous young men worked hard. Honest . The company has changed ,from the first time I used them. I was required to make a deposit , via paypal (which I hate) . The owner said I given a discount , because I am a repeat customer. In the end it still cost me $400. Justin was taking calls during the move. He said he couldn't afford to hire someone to do for the company. The trailer had 2 be packed thier way , for stacking or weight purposes. (?) Because I asked that 1 room be done at time, that way it would be easy for me to know what and where everything should go. I said, do it the way that works best for you guys , It wasn't the best thing for me. A few things were in the wrong place. My office chair was left at the old address!! I miss my chair. It was an emotional time for me, I said I wanted the chair to go as well. At the end he asked if we had everything ,I said we did. Justin said I'll meet you there. I sat and waited at the new address about 20 mins, I called the owner , because Justin said he didn't have my number ,nor did I have his. The drive from 1 address to the next should only be 10 or 15 min. Justin stopped for gas. Most of the items were put in the right place. I tipped both gentlemen. On the invoice that was e-mailed to me I was charged $50.00 for Shrink wrap!!! None was used. Justin used packing tape, That was very hard to get off my items. He had to tear it with his teeth , and no end was folded for easy of removal.

I had a bad experience with this company.

Unauthorized credit charges exceeding the estimate by four figures. I have yet to receive a bill. I should not have shared my credit card number when I made my initial deposit. Kingsley has charged about $2700 to my credit card without presenting me a bill or otherwise allowing me to approve the charges. For a job that he "estimated" would cost a little over $1400, Kingsley charged me almost $2600. (He has told me that if the job goes over time and the move is under 40 miles, he can charge for as long as it takes, no matter how far past the estimate he goes.) I did not discover that I had been charged this higher amount until I noticed it on my credit card statement. Later, Kingsley agreed to haul away some trash for me. The night before he picked up the trash, he charged almost $400 to my credit card without asking me to authorize the charge. This included a $90 "tip" that we never discussed, as well as an "equipment charge" relating to who knows what. I learned after Kingsley had left that he had sent me an "invoice" for the $400 as an inconspicuous attachment to an email he sent the night before. By the way, although Kingsley did most of the work, I helped move some of the trash into Kingsley's truck. The work, not counting driving time, took an hour and a half at most. Kingsley will provide some additional details, I'm sure. I encourage you to read them and ask yourself whether they justify the practice of charging a credit card without submitting a bill to the cardholder.

They moved primarily the large furniture and everything else I can't fit in the back of my truck, it's like about 75% of our stuff. They were late to begin with but the owner actually step up and was the one who came over and they didn't send the van they were supposed to send me, he grabbed himself and went in the house and came out and came in and got us moved. I will use them again if I have to move again but I hope I won't have to.

They are very efficent. They were very careful with my items. I would definitely recommend them.

Arrived on a reasonably timely basis, kept me informed while en route, confirmed appointment more than once. Flexible, worked quickly with good effort. Were polite and accommodating.
