Love this man and the people he has working with him. After 3 separate attempts to repair the cause of water damage occurring to the facing of the brick work on the front of our beautiful home, Thomas Robert Constrution was the only company that was able to find the problem, divert the water and replace the roofing. Three years and a couple thousand dollars and no one was able to stop the water damage to the front of our house. Thomas Robert Construction was the last and only company that didn't even want to talk about replacing bricks until he found where the problem was coming from. What a relief! Our brick front has been bone dry since he completed the repairs... no more brick facing popping off this winter and we are looking forward to Thomas Robert Construction coming back in the spring to begin the brick replacement. Thomas Robert Construction did several other repairs on our home and we could not be more pleased with results and pricing, but his professionalism and his genuine concern over doing what was right for our water damaged brick was the ultimate in caring for our home as if it were his. We will keep his number on file as our home is 13 years old and we want to keep it looking as beautiful as the day we bought it.

I couldn't ask for a better job. Thomas was professional from the start. We plan on using Thomas for other projects we have. It's nice to see there is still contractors that care about their customers. Great job guys. We will be calling you when we're ready for our next home repair/remodel. The job went very well. They were able to do the repairs without disturbing my stamped concrete step. They kept me informed every step of the way. The job cost was a little bit more, but that's because Tom used materials that will not rot out again. Very friendly and personable. I definitely will use them again for other projects.

I am a woodworker myself, but decided to hire the job out due to lack of time to do it myself. So I called Tom based on reviews here. He's very pleasant, communicates well, and does quality work. Before the job, he pointed out a couple areas where the joints might not turn out perfect (e.g. curved corners). All I can say is that Tom is fussier than I am, and the results were better than I had expected, even in the tough areas. My only complaint is that he underestimated the duration of the installation. He originally told me 3-4 hours total, but it turned into 10 hours spanning 2 days. Nevertheless, he completed the work on back-to-back days and didn't leave me hanging until he could find time to finish up. I would definitely hire him again.

We found Tom through Angie's List. We met and we clicked immediately. He was like family. We told him what we wanted and he showed us all the available options. Because we live out of state, he kept in touch with us and even texted us pictures of the work in progress. All in all, a pleasant experience and we will be calling him for any future work that we may have done.

Can we say Holmes from the Home Improvement channel! Tom and his crew are excellent ! They were pleasant as working men to tenants. They were thorough on the phone and in their work! They don't short dime you at all when it comes to their plumbing, if its not done right in the first place, they correct it and make it work! The guys doing the work were on time, and very good. Got right down to business. The whole job was completed in a couple days. What I wasnt aware of and not terribly thrilled about was the dumping of leftover cement ( after cleaning out of machine used to dump cement , it was a little rig that you drove on) in the easement in our backyard, you cant see it...but I didnt care for that. I dont mind dumping rocks, dirt, or the like, back there, but not cement. But, it wasnt much and you cant really see it. Not a huge deal in the bigger scheme of things... Also, there was some new cement tracked onto the exsisting sidewalk that probably wouldnt be as noticeable now had they tried to rinse some of it off before it dried too much. I assumed it would wash off or blend in over the next weeks, but its still very noticeable. All in all. I really like Tom alot....hes a good guy, very informative and very fair. Very giving of his advice and knowledge. We have some work on our kitchen coming up that Tom will be working on, we are looking forward to it, and I have already passed his name on to some neighbors who have asked about the porch. Now everyone wants one! Haha. This is a good company that I highly recommend, and will continue to use.

I called and asked Tom when he had time to install laminate flooring. He has done work for me previously and I was very happy with the work done then. Tom was able to get me into his schedule. I explained to Tom what I was looking for. We met at a building supply store so we could discuss trim pieces. The scheduled installation date arrived and Tom was there on time and went to work right away. I added a little work so the installation took a few hours longer. Over all, the employee's were professional, worked hard and took good care of my floor and house. Thanks Tom

The first time I contacted Tom I left a message. My call was promptly returned. I told him what I needed done and agreed on a date and time for him to come by. Tom came over right on time and we discussed the job. He shared with me several good ideas and provided estimates for the job. My cupboard took longer than anticipated to come in but Tom kept me updated. The cupboard the slider basket would go in was narrow and it took a couple of tries to find one that would fit. Tom sent me pictures of various sliders he found and sent them to me. I found one that I liked and he ordered and installed it. I felt very comfortable calling Tom to ask any question that I had and if I was unable to reach him every call was quickly returned. When the job was finished everything was cleaned up and the amount I was charged was exactly what I was quoted. Thomas Robert Construction will be the company I call when I need more work done!!

The quote was $650. His quote was way too high. He was going to quote my drywall, but when I got that high price, I didn’t even entertain the thought of going with him on the drywall. He was very congenial and very prompt. But his prices were too high, that was the only issue. I fixed it myself.

I called later in the evening and left a message, I got a return call from Tom a short time later. An appointment was made for an estimate. Tom arrived on time during a moderate snow. He gave an honest evaluation and gave me additional information about doorwall and what to look for that I had not received from anyone else. I elected to use Tom for the installation. A date was set to commence work and Tom & John arrived on time again. Through the week,they arrived on time and kept in contact as the job progressed. The job consisting of bypassing and removing a baseboard hot water register, cutting and removing a portion of exterior brick,removing the interior wall, moving a gutter downspout and moving an electrical outlet where the doorwall was to be installed. There was also some drywall repair as well as replacing some brick on the exterior. The job went well with Tom making some good suggestions. In the end, the work appears to be done very well. The drywall looks good and the exterior masonry work looks good. They cleaned up the work area very well and removed al the debris. Overall I am very happy with work and the finished product.

Tom did a great job with everything the project threw at him and with a 100+ year old building there were plenty of surprises. They were flexible, thought on their feet and creative at tackling the curve balls the old building threw at them. I appreciate that they worked to maintain the integrity of the historical nature of the carriage house. They worked quickly and communication from Tom throughout the project was great. The project also came in on budget. I would definitely use them for future jobs and highly recommend them to anyone. This was not an easy job to tackle and I could not be happier with how the project turned out.

The repairs were great and timely. All of our doors and windows are as good as new and the paint looks great on the house.
