Pleasure to deal with from start to finish, used them at my shop / pole barn, Email to have them to my house this week for an estimate,

Very professional company. They showed up at the appointment time with a full crew and went to town on my insulation. Removed all the old batt insulation in my rim joists and replaced it with spray foam. Took my attic insulation up to R50. The crew was very courteous and housekeeping was excellent. They went above and beyond what they told me they would do. I could not be more pleased with the way everything turned out! They pre and post tested my house and sent in the info for my rebate. Three weeks later I get a check in the mail from Consumers Energy for $975. I fully expect to save at least 20% or more on my power bills in the future, I would highly recommend the Insulation Man to anybody that is looking to have any type of insulation work done.

We pretty much liked their services. In addition to the service that they provided, The Insulation Man also had suggestions as to other energy saving ideas that we might want to consider. They explained exactly what they were going to do, they were clean, they were efficient, and the price was as quoted. Also, importantly, they covered the rebate that was available in the area which cut my costs by half. They handled the whole thing in terms of filling out the application; all I had to do was sign it. They submitted it and maintained contact with the energy company to make sure that all questions were answered and that the rebate was processed. In that aspect, they went above and beyond what they were committed to.

Larry, completed the thermal scan and did a lot of talking. He was supposed to email me the report and ocntact me to schedule a date to complete the audit. The energy audit he performed did not qualify for the rebate of up to $150 that DTE was offering. As of today 5/24/2012 I have not heard back from him or the company nor did I ever receive a report. I contacted the company and spoke to Audrey who informed me that Larry was no longer with the company for reasons similar to what I mentioned above. She promissed to search through their information, attempt to compile a report, and call me back within an hour. I basically threw away $99. I did not receive the service I paid for, could not improve the energy efficiency of my home based on recomendations of a skilled professional, and could not file for the rebate on the energy audit or any of the available home improvement rebates. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

Workers came on time, explained what they were going to do,were in and out in about 3 hours, cleaned up after themselves.
