TEMO warranty is a joke. The first time I tried to make a claim it was denied. First they had no record of my registration. I have been told that they are just now developing an electronic storage for registrations and they are dealing with issues for anything built prior to 2023. I was told I was not registered. So I am penalized for their in ability to track and maintain customers registrations. Secondly, anything you try to make a claim on they will refuse stating "installation error". Evidently they have no intentions of fulfilling any claims on with their warranty, even when provided proper documentation. Steer clear and find a mfg that stands behind their products. TEMO isn't it.

I was told they would be able to install the patio cover around September. It's 2/9/2022 and I still do not have an install date. It took weeks and phone calls to get the renderings. All I've had was one excuse after another. In December (after I finally rcvd my final renderings) I was told they are finishing up a project and "I was the next job in line". They would start on mine the first week in January. Over the past 9 phone calls, Jan-Feb, I have been told several things. Now there are 5 jobs, will contact foremen to see when they can schedule me. 5 JOBS!! I thought I was next. Seems like me being next was just another excuse to delay me even longer. Then they were out at the Suburban Show trying to get additional business. Why? You have business, you can't keep your current customer happy, why disappoint others? I'm debating if I should look into cancelling my order or continue begging and contacting them several times a week. I use to think they were the greatest company around. At this time, I don't think I'll ever do business with them again. So sad!

Very pleasant experience from start to finish. The staff were all very pleasant to work with, knowledgeable, and wanted to ensure we were pleased with the results. They always answered emails and phone messages promptly. The installation crews were friendly and always made time to answer any questions we had. They were competent and did an excellent job.

We are so happy that Funspace Direct/Temo Sun Rooms did the addition to our home. From the moment we placed our first inquiry call to this, the final inspection day, every interaction has met or exceeded our expectations. This is the third time we have added an extra room to our homes; the other two were done by other companies. Temo has far exceeded the competition in quality and professionalism. Our sales representative Ryan and designer Race took the time to explain the product and choices in careful detail, answering our questions and offering suggestions to assure we would have the room designed the way we wanted it. Jeff Anderman, Temo’s construction manager offered his experience and insights as we discussed what changes to our previously existing exterior should be done to best accommodate the new addition. Our 12x22 room was erected from mid-December to early March, and we insisted that work only be done when the weather permitted. Our carpenters Bill, Tony and Brian built our room as if it were being built onto their own home. Every aspect of our room attests to their attention to detail. Any materials found to be less than perfect were replaced before being used on our room. When the wind blew open the access doors in the foundation, Tony responded the next day with a modification that works. The electricians Denny. Craig and Joe were prompt, efficient, and took extra steps to be sure previously existing and new service worked flawlessly and was what we wanted. When we realized traffic flow in the room would be a problem the way the exterior doors were designed to function, Jeff Anderman had the doors and electrical service changed over at no additional cost to be sure everything about our room was right. We give our highest endorsement to these very hard working and professional group and have suggested them to our family and friends. Phil C. Abbott

TEMO was referred to us by one of the pool companies that we bid for our pool and patio project. I called on a Tuesday and the salesperson was there on Wednesday. The initial bid was provided on the spot, in a very well laid out and detailed format, which I like. Within a few days, a measure and design person came to the house to do all of the exact measures, as ours was a custom job. Shortly thereafter, we got a full set of drawings, including a 3D rendering, which helped us visualize the project. We paid our deposit and got a commitment for installation within 3 weeks, which happened (I wish we had the same performance from the company we chose to do our pool!). The workmanship and quality of materials is excellent. We could not be happier with our experience with TEMO. We work with a lot of contractor companies. TEMO is one of the best.

Brian Johnson came out and gave me estimate, he was very helpful and explained everything in detail. They completed when promised. I was very happy with install until, after a cold winter, the posts that are cemented in, raised up and made the brick pavers around the posts uneven. I called Temo and they sent out someone out right away to check it out. It was repaired within a week! I received follow up call the next day to make sure I was happy with it. Great service! I am very happy with the Pergola and the repair job.

Description of Work: It sounded great but then things started to go off-schedule. The hot tub was delivered before the floor went in and had to sit in the yard for a couple weeks. There were supposed to be two skylights and we ended up with one. And when the hot tub finally went in and was filled it was obvious that the whole room was on a slant. Never again with these people!

Description of Work: Fun Space Direct (through Temo) tore down our 60 yr. old florida room and replaced it with a 10 x 14 sunroom with treated glass windows and screens, electrical outlets, a security door and an outdoor light. The teardown was completed in just a couple days and footings were expertly and quickly completed as was adding the sunroom onto the existing home, which involved much additional carpentry work. All workers worked efficiently and courteously, and we're most satisfied with the sunroom thus far.

Description of Work: Let me say, up front, that we think we are going to be very happy with our 3 seasons room and deck. We were much less than delighted with the process of construction. | | We contracted with Temo to build a 3 seasons room and a deck. We talked to a couple of other companies, and chose Temo, swayed by some warranties available if we purchased through Home Depot. It was represented to be an 8 week project. | |Temo fouled up the permits, in the beginning, so the start of project was delayed. | |The next surprise was that the folks doing the actual room installation was one of the companies we chose NOT to use, subcontracting to Temo. | |Things went ok for a bit, then there was a lack of communication, and as a result, no work was done for over a week, until we tracked down folks from Temo to ask where they were. They seemed surprised that work had stopped. | |We had a couple of huge issues with extremely rainy weather which resulted in water in our basement and inside our home, which required some repair work to be required. Temo did fix it, but these things shouldn't have happened in the first place. | |There were quite a few cosmetic issues which we pushed to have repaired, which Temo did repair, but did add time to the project. | |We were fairly happy with the concrete company, the room construction, and the electrical work. We were NOT satisfied with the deck construction sub-contractor. Finish detail work on the deck is not good. | |We could have done something more regarding the deck, but our 8 week project had turned into over 3 months, and we wanted to be DONE. | |We spent a lot more effort chasing down Temo than should be required, and we had a lot more stress due to rain issues, and items we had to push to have reworked. At this price point, we expected better. | |To summarize: you will like your room, but stay on top of them. |

Installers were efficient and professional. Had to return a few days after major installation to install final trim piece. Cleaned up all scrap materials, and final payment was not due until job was 100 percent completed satisfactorily. An additional downstanding flange was requested by me and added at no additional cost. I would definitely recommend them for this type of work.

After years of dreaming and researching other sunroom companies to replace our 1969 screened sunroom with an upscale extended sunroom, Temo presented the product, quality and expectations we had in mind. Rob, the salesman worked thoroughly to draft a proposal of our expectations. Within days, we met with Jim and Dale to review the installer layout sketch, take final measurements and discuss any concerns/issues of both parties. Later than night, my husband and I changed our mind about some details. Temo worked smoothly with us as we changed our minds (twice) and transitioned from a Hybrid 3 season (single paned window) sunroom to an Ultimate extended season (double paned window with glass transoms and other upgrades) sunroom with additional upgrades: ceiling fan, electrical outlets, doorwall and another entry door. Immediately, Jim returned with the revised plans for our approval and proceeded to get the necessary permits. The permits were approved immediately since their plans were so detailed. The work crew (father and son) were efficient, conscientious, thorough in their workmanship. I was and remain so impressed with how they smoothed the transition of joining the cathedral roof line onto the house, both externally and internally. The shingles perfectly match and blend with the regular roof. The cathedral ceiling and interior of the room blend perfectly against the side of the house. Additionally they were thoughtful and considerate of our needs and expectations. Both Jim and Dale were on site during many stages of the process and oversaw any issues immediately. They facilitated a wonderful work crew and electrician. Temo exceeded my expectations! They deserve an A+ rating with both the Better Business Bureau and Angie’s List. Everyday, I smile as I walk by my new sunroom! Thank you, Rob, Jim, Dale, work crew and electrician!

On 3/21/2011 we gave TEMO SUNROOMS $913.22 as a deposit on a bedroom & full bath first floor addition. The quoted cost was $26,913.22. After 31/2 months and many unreturned phone calls we were given a new price of $32,611.84. That's when we told them we wanted to cancel the job and asked for our deposit back. There was a big lack of communication, calls they were to make to me were never made , It was difficult to get a hold of our salesperson. We felt uneasy going any further and asked them to return our $913.22. We did get our money back but I would never do business with them again.

The sales staff will quote one price and may promiss you deals, only to change it when the work is due to start.
Description of Work: My husband requested a quote for an four season porch to be installed with a wall break-thru, They agreed on a price, He signed there contract and paid the requested deposit to start the work. Four week later my husband was told that the project had been canceled and this information came from a totally different contractor wanting my business. When he contacted Fun Space he was told that they could not honor there agreements because there senior sales person did not quote the job correctly although he visited our home three times for measurements. We are awaiting the return of our deposit as of 4/17/11.

I originally went to the Temo showroom because I was pricing the cost of replacing an old aluminum porch enclosure. I was also getting quotes from various window replacement businesses for 2 windows and a sliding patio door. When I walked into the showroom, I discovered that Temo also installed windows and patio doors, so I spoke with a salesman about having them do all of the work I wanted done. The original salesman, Bryan, made arrangements to come to my home the next day to take measurements. Bryan arrived right when he said he would and he gave me a written estimate of $7853 for all of the work I wanted done, including blinds between the glass of the sliding patio door. I told Bryan I had to get approval from my condo association before I could give him a definite answer. Long story short, I erred on the timing of the association meeting and it would be just over 30 days before the next meeting. I called Bryan to explain this and he told me there was no problem and he extended the period the original estimate was good for. The day I learned I was approved for the work from my condo association, I called Bryan to get started an was advised that Bryan had been "relocated" and I would now be dealing with Ryan. When I went to the showroom to fill out the paperwork, Ryan tried to tell me that Bryan and not included the cost of the blinds in the patio door and the work would cost "around" $1,000 more than originally quoted. I showed Ryan the error of his statement and the contract was written up for the original price. I was told that there would be one crew who would install the windows and patio door and a separate crew who would remove the old porch enclosure and install the new one. This was the first of May and I was told it would take 4-6 weeks to get the products made. On June 8, the windows crew supervisor called me to tell me the windows and door had come in and they could install them the next day or else it would be "weeks" before it could get done because they were very busy. I was a little miffed at the short notice and the ultimatum but agreed. The two man crew arrived right at the scheduled time the next morning and it only took them 4 hours to replace the 2 windows and patio door. They were polite and professional and took care to cover my floor where they needed to walk and work. Early the next morning the supervisor for the porch enclosure called to say his crew would be out that day. Again, I was upset at the extremely short notice, but was told that I didn't have to be home for this part of the work. Two men driving two trucks appeared about an hour later with one unloading the parts, then driving off leaving one older man to work by himself. This guy worked alone for over 9 hours, taking down the original enclosure and installing the new one. Someone did show up about 6 hours into the work to take away the old aluminum parts and partially clean up but he didn't help with the installation. Over all, I am very pleased with the quality of the products. My sliding patio door is white on the outside and cherry on the inside and it looks better than I'd hoped it would. I am very satisfied with the look of the new porch enclosure. I am also pleased the the demeanor and professionalism of the three guys who did the installations. They were all respectful of me and my belongings and all of them made sure they cleaned up after themselves before they left. My only complaint, and the reason for the "C" rating in professionalism is for the salesman I dealt with. Ryan is smarmy and fast talking. I financed half of the cost of the work and Ryan called me twice to tell me I had to re-sign the forms because the ones I had signed before were outdated and had been rejected by the bank. Both times, I arranged a specific time to meet him at the showroom, and both times he couldn't be bothered to be there, but had left the papers with a secretary. I did get all of the original papers back that I had signed, but I told Ryan it wasn't very business like of him not to have the correct paperwork given the nature of his job was to assist with financing projects. Once you get past the obnoxious sales people, the quality of the work done by Temo is very good.
