 + -1 moreThey were quick to get my appointment scheduled and reminded me of the appointment both by email and phone. John was on-time and made sure to answer all of the questions I had. He is very knowledgeable and explained what he was doing. John was able to get the work done quickly and did good work. I would call them again for any electrical work I had and I'd recommend them to other members.
Description of Work: John Brennan from Mr. Electric put in a new outlet that had gone bad. John also advised me on several carbon monoxide monitors that weren't working. He advised that since the monitors were something that needed to continuously work that I should use lithium batteries instead of regular batteries.

 + -1 moreThe plugs that were switched out were a combination of black and white so I ended up hiring a different company to switch out all the plugs to match. They were also 1/4 of the cost of Mr. Electric for all the work.
Description of Work: First and foremost we wanted to make sure we were up to code on our 1960's home in preparation for our first child. We had Mr. Electric come out and give us an estimate. We then discussed further work and they came out again. I was under the impression our fuse box would be reorganized but that never happened. The second time they came out we got a few plugs grounded and another estimate for a job that would be close to $5000. We paid in total over $2000 for that days service and I am still unsure what actually was completed.

The technician inspected my house and gave me an itemized list of changes that I should make, in addition to some product estimates that I requested. He was very thorough and informative!
