Description of Work: I have used Don for several jobs on the recommendation of two friends. He never disappoints with his service. He has replaced a water heater, outdoor spigots and a pedestal sink. All the work was done within the estimate quoted, and the areas were cleaner than when he started. When the spigots started t leak the following year, Don showed up and replaced them without a charge to me, explaining that the spigots were faulty and he stands behind his work and his products. He is an affable "old-time" service provider - the kind who takes pride in his work - a lost art among repairmen today.

+ -1 moreThey charge us an hourly service charge, which is about $90 or maybe a little bit less. Then we pay for the cost of the part whenever something has to be replaced. I noted that their prices for the parts are fair compared to other places. Don does not try to do more than what we ask him to do. He doesn’t try to sell me something we don’t need. So when we ask him to fix something, he fixes it and if he sees something else, he gives me advice but doesn’t force me to get it done. We have used him several times and we are happy with his services.
Description of Work: We used Don's Plumbing Inc about a week ago for general plumbing services.

+ -1 moreDon's was really excellent. I liked the fact they were so prompt and they fulfilled their promises to us. I think they did a good job. Their work was very neat and they pay attention to details. They are personable when interfacing with them and I'd give them all high marks.

+ 0 moreDon returned my call very promptly and came that afternoon. He arrived on time, explained everything he did, and checked the whole system out before he left. He was very pleasant, informative, neat and tidy, had all the materials he needed with him, and cleaned up everything. We will definitely use him again.
Description of Work: Don installed a new three year warranty Stevens sump pump complete with a new cinch valve. He also replaced the vacuum breaker on the water powered pump and relocated it so that the switch could work freely.

+ -1 moreDon was on time, very polite, and very clean. For the amount of time he spent and the materials he used, he was very reasonably priced. I would highly recommend him.
Description of Work: Had a leak in the basement ceiling that turned out to be coming from an upstairs toilet. Don found the leak, removed the toilet and replaced wax seals which had failed. I also had a broken hose bib on the outside that had frozen. Don replaced the bib.

+ -1 moreDon called back as promised, we agreed on a mutually satisfactory appointment time and date, he showed up on time, and he explained the process of ruling out the problems. He answered all my questions, explained his rationale for replacing the toilet, gave me alternatives and explained the guarantee, did the work well, and left the bathroom clean and in good working order. Rather than tearing up the floor to replace a part, he repaired the flange himself. He was friendly, polite and professional.
Description of Work: Checked for reason for toilet overflow. Viewed plumbing for 44 feet to determine there was no blockage. Repaired flange and installed new toilet.

Description of Work: THIS COMPANY CHECKED ALL OF THE WATER PIPES IN THE HOUSE. HE CHANGED ONE PIPE AND PUT IN NEW CONNECTORS IN THE LAUNDRY ROOM.
