Description of Work: They leveled 7 portions of our driveway and it looks great. They arrived on time, got right to work and cleaned up nicely afterwards. Nice group of guys.

Description of Work: Lifted the walkway, step stair to front door and one sidewalk. Work was done promptly and professionally.

Description of Work: Detroit Concrete Leveling was hired to level and even the aprons on our driveway and 2 slabs nears the street and 2 slabs near the garage door. They also leveled and lifted the front side walk leading to the front door and the sidewalk on the side of the house from front to back patio. We were impressed the promptness in response and explanation of work to be done and how it was to be done. On the scheduled day for the work to be done, the workmen were here a little earlier than scheduled and described what they were doing and how long it should take. They explained about care of the driveway after the project was finished. We were very pleased with the promptness, courtesy and professionalism of the owner who priced the job and the workmen who performed the job. We would use this company again.

Description of Work: I was very impressed with Chad when he gave me the quote, very professional and knowledgeable. Answered all of my questions and explained the process. I was a little nervous because I was not able to be at home when the work was being done, but I have to say I was completed satisfied with the results. I would definitely recommend Detroit Concrete Leveling company.

Description of Work: They raised the concrete in my garage and also around the garage. They also filled some cracks around the garage. They did a great job and I will definitely refer them to anyone who needs this type of service.

Description of Work: Came out and reviewed our concrete for leveling however it was not able to be done. Per sales person the whole concrete slab would need to be replaced and said they would send out someone else to give us a quote but they never called.

Description of Work: In August the Detroit Concrete Leveling company leveled some narrow panels that were tilted toward the house and causing dampness issues. At the same time they raised the side door concrete step back to its original level.It had sunk 3" since the time it was installed circa 1926. | |It was a difficult job because the step was bonded to two concrete rectangles of the drive (designed by original owners circa 1826 with two strips of concrete slabs on the edge and grass down the middle of the drive). The step had sunk about 3" and turned out to be 18" deep. It was quite complemented and could not be dug up without damaging the original slabs or perhaps the house bricks at that point because it was wedged into the house and the surrounding space was very narrow. They solved the problem by raising the slabs connected to the slabs and the house at the same time. They leveled the slabs with the large apron slabs in front of the garage. | |Please note: they did this as requested when we were out of state. A neighbor helped with access to water and electricity (she had our house keys) and we had telephone contact twice that day. The neighbor was so impressed by the work ethic and the artistry and the professionalism of the owner and his crew that they have hired him to level the large concrete slabs in front of their garage next week. | |Upon our return home we were delighted and then contracted to have all the smaller rectangular driveway slabs and the side walk slabs that were leveled caulked with a product that expands and contracts with weather and lasts longer then regular caulk. | |We then scheduled to have the large rectangular slabs of the apron in front of the garage to be replaced September 27, 2014. They were able to cut the concrete slabs in front of the garage from the continuous connection to the concrete slab floor of our garage. | |The original design, for some reason waste have water rain out the back of the garage- there were old drain holes in the back of the garage to confirm that this was the in ten of the original design in 1926. It had become a nightmare for ice control last winter. | |The owner and his crew removed old concrete and found only sand as a foundation. We had requested a gravel foundation as well. They brought it in and graded the slope in an excellent manner. On Tuesday afternoon, September 30th. they laid the concrete and "babysat it" until it was set well enough that the opossums, squirrels, etc in the neighborhood would not leave paw prints. | |The owner, Cody, and his crew have been very trustworthy. They are knowledgable and efficient workers. Once the new concrete is dried we will have the joints caulked and also have a cement sealer applied (not requested or included in the original new concrete bid). | |I highly recommend the Detroit Concrete Leveling company. Their price was in the ballpark of other quotes. I live inside the city of Detroit and everyone was comfortable working in our neighborhood- The University District (UDCA) in Detroit Michigan. I highly recommend this company and their crew. I just found out tonight that a friend that lives in Birmingham Michigan has just contracted with the Detroit Cement Leveling to do some work on his driveway. In addition, they cleaned up after the job and powered washed the sidewalk, driveway and porch. Dean took time to walk us through the project in order to make sure that we were happy with the work.
