First of all I am so sorry to Cody for this being so late. Cody came to our house to look at our driveway to see if it was possible to level some of the areas out as we had some standing water and a big piece that was broken and sloped toward our house (the concrete was right up against the brick). Cody is wonderful! He is professional, helpful and HONEST. By honest I mean he told us what he was going to do, how much it was going to cost and what time he would be here and delivered on all. He was very honest too when he told us what he and his equipment were not able to do. He explained how the process works prior to and on the day they were here. It is a pretty amazing process. I did feel bad because the piece they had to break out was much thicker and more of a job than I thought it would be and think it took much longer than he thought. They all smiled through it though and worked until it was done. The driveway is much more level now, the piece that was cut out is now filled in with pavers. Cody immediately responded to my request for a quote and came out the same day. He was professional, knowledgeable, and explained the materials and process he would use. Although we had intended to get another quote, we decided to go with him on the spot. His price may be lower than some and higher than others but I gave him an "A" on price because it seemed reasonable and my husband and I were impressed with everything else. Cody scheduled us within a week and he and two others did the work. They were efficient and cleaned up after themselves. I would use Detroit Concrete Leveling again, if necessary, and would absolutely recommend this company.

Cody responded to my request for a quote within 24hrs and explained everything that would need to be done, as well as the difference between the limestone they do and foam leveling other companies offer. The team was doing the work within days of my call to move forward. It was all done in a few hours and they had everything cleaned up nicely too. A few weeks later we had a crazy chipmunk chew a hole in the caulk between two slabs and called. Cody's team was out to repair it within days and treated it to make it more repellent as well. Chipmunk left it alone and everything still looks great months later. Several people have commented on how nice our walk looks now and our trip area is now even with the drive to be nice & safe.

Cody was outstanding to work with. During the estimate he walked the entire property with me and we discussed each panel of concrete. He made recommendations that I hadn't noticed and steered me away from leveling that wasn't necessary. I always ask a million questions and he was very patient and thorough answering them. His crew was prompt and Cody was on-sight working along side them. The work he did was outstanding and the clean up was so thorough it didn't even appear they were there. alleI highly recommend Detroit Concrete Leveling and would use them again.

When I got my estimate, he responded to my message within 24 hours and was on time for our appointment. He negotiated fully with me, and was willing to break down the aspects of the job by price. We worked out a very specific agreement: In one instance he had to tell me that he could not level a high point in the slab, but gave me his reasons, and offered an alternative which I accepted. I feel he fulfilled both the letter and spirit of our contract He was present on the day of work, as promised, on time, and was done on time. He got my approval before he finished the job. I took before and after pictures, but don't know how to get them from camera to this computer. There is a substantial difference showing the cement incline is now away from the house, the slabs and cracks are fully sealed. Cody informed me from the outset that I would need to avoid driving on the cement and seal to avoid tearing up the work. While this is not convenient, it is reasonable considering it takes time for fillers to settle and set up. I give Cody and Detroit Concrete Leveling high marks in all alreas. The only reason I gave them a B in price is that I had not expected to have to do the work, and went through a kind of sticker shock. However, I feel I got good value for my work and have already recommended him to a friend who saw the driveway and asked about the work.

Cody and his team were excellent! We were so impressed with his response time and estimate compared to other companies that we had contacted that we referred his services to our neighbors before he had actually completed the work. The workmanship is excellent and Cody and his crew did a great job with clean-up.

Cody and his crew were ahead of schedule and were very professional. Part way through completion, they had my husband and me come outside to explain what they had completed and also what they would do to complete the job. They cleaned up and power washed everything. We did not have to give a deposit before their work. I would definitely use them again!

The team did a nice job. The end result of my walkway and driveway being lifted looks better and is safer. They removed tripping points in my driveway as well. They power-washed the area to clean it up which I appreciated. i would use them again.

Cody Snare and his crew are the VERY RARE blend of extreme value, knowledge, meticulousness and professionalism. They showed up on time, and raised the concrete on the interior of my 1065 sq ft house. The concrete did crack in a few spots, but this is to be expected when raising such a large slab. During the job, between the drilling and the pumping of concrete, it did get very messy, so you can only do this on a house that is vacant with no floor coverings. I removed all carpet and baseboard, and had a plumber come in and spray painted the floor to mark plumbing drain locations. Job was completed in one long day. All other estimates came in much higher, so hire someone else only if these guys are not available. One more thing, Cody was not only the salesman who I initially talked to, but he also came to the job site and led the crew.

Purchase a home that had un-level concrete at the garage entrance and a sunken, tilted porch and trip hazards. Cody estimated the job and was confident he could resolve the problem. He came out about a week later with his equipment, drilled some holes and to my amazement I watched the concrete level out as he pumped material under the slabs. Even more amazing was watching the porch steps and the sidewalk leading to the porch level out as he artfully pumped material underneath. Quicker, easier and less expensive than tearing out the sunken pieces and pouring new concrete. Very satisfied.

They answered my first call and we made an appointment for an estimate. They arrived at the appointed time and we discussed options of what could be done and gave a written estimate. There was no pressure and no up-sell. Later I called to accept the proposal (and they answered my first call in person) and arranged a time for the service. They arrived at the scheduled time and did exactly what they proposed for the quoted price. They were friendly and courteous in every interaction. I would definitely hire them again.

I called, left a message to schedule an estimate. Cody called within an appropriate amount of time and I schedule my appointment. When Cody did the walk through (?), he noticed a slab of concrete in my front walk way that needed to be leveled and said they would do it at "No Charge". They called an hour before they arrived, were prompt, and professional. Cleaned up after themselves. I am very happy with my service.

Update: Cody and I worked out an arrangement whereby the caulking was completely re-done. All the original caulk and mortar was removed, and this time they did the job with backer rod instead of mortar. The results are 100% better, and I am now a satisfied customer. Given the hassle, I'm only giving them an overall "B" score, but you shouldn't hesitate to use them. As long as they use the backer rod instead of the mortar, I have every confidence the concrete joint seals will be long-lasting. And, as I said in the original post (below), they do a fine job with concrete leveling. Recommended. Original post: In many ways, the experience was good. Cody was prompt and professional, and I have no complaints with the concrete leveling part of the job. The joint caulking part of the job is another story -- the seals are failing in less than a year. I think the problem is the process they use. After they clean out the joints, they put in mortar to partially fill the joint. The mortar is pushed into place with their fingers, and this results in a U-shaped channel. Then on top of the mortar they put the actual sealant (Sikaflex SL Self Leveling Sealant). The problem is that the sealant material is thinnest where it actually touches the concrete because of the channel they create. The channel is deepest in the middle between the concrete slabs, so that's where the sealant pools ("self-leveling"). The edges, where the adhesion needs to be strongest are already pulling away. Cody has been out once to try and fix the problem areas, but now there are more. The system they use fails way too fast. I've had this done by other companies before, and the sealant has lasted 5-8 years. This time it lasted less than 1 year. So, while I'd give him an "A" for concrete leveling, he gets an "F" for joint sealing. I've averaged that out to a "C".

6/15/13 Our garage floor had sunk six inches lower in the middle than at the side. DCL successfully raised it, raised the driveway to meet it, and also brought up a sidewalk running alongside the garage. Cody was prompt and courteous when he estimated the job and he explained it thoroughly. Their price was fair, the work was well done and we are well satisfied.

From estimate to actual work everything went smoothly. With the final results perfect. They kept me informed during the process, making sure that I was happy with everything. The people were very professional, and did a through cleaning afterwards. I am writing this review about a week after the work has been doing and everything is still looking good. the patches that were put in place to fill in the holes that had to be made in the concrete to level it is starting to more match the shade of the concrete (which I was informed would take some time), I am still happy with the work, and no buyers remorse ( which is always good ). If I need leveling again, I will be using them.

We set a date for two weeks out. Today Cody and another young man arrived promptly and got down to business. I was fascinated by the process. The job was completed in about 5 hours and looks great! I highly recommend this company.
