Custom Temperature Control

I called Custom to take a look at our old furnace and air conditioner. Tony came out a few days after my initial call and spent about 30 minutes with my wife and talking about options we had. He educated us on the different furnace models, A/C equipment, Aprilaire humidifier and electronic air cleaner. After the meeting, he emailed us a quote within 24 hours with a breakdown of costs and rebates. By far this was the best turn around of information we received based on 2 other HVAC companies we had called; so far we were impressed. A few weeks had gone by and at this point our furnace had actually died, we wanted Custom to handle our job. So I called them on a Friday and they were installing the agreed upon equipment by Wednesday. The installers arrived at exactly the time they had said they would and began working. The installers worked quickly and the job was completed the following day. The paperwork and manuals were left behind so I could review them. I had a question about the installation and called Tony on a Friday. He was able to answer my question regarding our AirCleaner by Monday. I inspected the joints and they had puttied and sealed each one. I'm also impressed that we receive 2 complimentary maintenance checks with our purchase. All in all, the experience was positive. We have highly rated equipment and the installation was done correctly.

They were very good. They did say that if we had any questions at all for us to call. They were very open to assisting any of our concerns.

This was the second time I used Custom Temperature Control. Tony provided the quote with two options in a timely manner and answered all my questions. He recommended the lower priced option. The installers were here two full days and were professional and made sure they did not track mud in the house. When the work was finished the directions for operating the unit was thoroughly reviewed. All of the packaging material and scrap material was removed. I would highly recommend this business.

For over two years, we endured an annoying furnace vibration that carried throughout the house through the duct system. We called another furnace service last season and the only solution offered was to buy a new furnace. We continued suffering through the noise until last week when we called Custom Temperature Control. They came to the house promptly and diagnosed the problem to be worn out mounts on the inducer motor. Further inspection revealed some cracks in the heat exchanger which was still under a 20 year Bryant warranty. Replacing the furnace was also an option, but we elected to pay the labor for the motor mounts and heat exchanger replacement. The work was completed in two hours and the vibration is gone.

The team was very professional. They arrived on time, knew what they were doing and left with things running better then ever.

Tony and Mo did an excellent job in tuning up the furnace, repairing the humidifier and installing the PVC pipe. First class company.

The service man that came out was extremely knowledgeable, and took the time to explain everything he did. At first, the price looks a bit high compared to lower coupon pricing out there, but considering I get 2 visits (one in the spring as well for the A/C), it was worth it. They came out the same day as I called - actually within a few hours. It was a pleasure dealing with this company, and I would HIGHLY recommend them based on my experience. Thank you!

Everything went well. They were on time. We even purchased a service agreement from this company.

When I called for service, I was told that their service call was $89.95 and included labor for repairs. They cleaned the furnace without using any parts. The Technician was there less than an hour. I was billed for the service call and the cleaning, an additional $79.95. The next day I called for an explanation of the bill as I was not home during the service. I was told someone would call. No one called me. I called again the next day, again getting no response. I called a third time and left a message. I still have not heard from them. They were very responsive in setting the appointment, but are completely incompetent when it comes to customer service. I will never use them again.

Unbelievably fast turnaround despite all the many people I am sure are having furnace issues this time of year. Cam on time, Knew what the problem was with little analysis. Got it fixed. No effort to sell any extra stuff. Will use again. Gladly took on-line coupon from Angie's List.

I've been using them for years. Tune up the furnace in the fall and the AC in the spring. Punctual, informative, reasonably priced, and most of all, great service. I get the spring/fall package.

My neighbor went over and opened the house for them to let them in, but it seemed to go alright.

Technician was professional, knowledgeable, clean, and friendly. Although he arrived late in the afternoon (through no fault of his own), he quickly began the process of diagnosing our trouble, then got busy fixing the problem. What I thought may have been a faulty air handling unit turned out to be a clogged condensation pump. "Terry" took it apart, washed the slime out, and blew out the condensation line with air to make sure all was operating as designed. With a new air filter in place, our HVAC system is now working well. As luck would have it, the flood waters did not infiltrate the electronics of our air handling system, so the repair was not as expensive as it could have been. And the tech could have tried to upsell some parts or services, which he didn't. We got just what we needed at a fair price. I only gave them a "B" rating for punctuality because I had to call the office to confirm my appointment, not the other way around. They were supposed to call ahead to let us know the tech was enroute, but he just pulled up in front of the house - a minor annoyance that does not reflect the overall satisfaction with the services performed. If needed, we'll definitely use them again the future !

Technician Ron was great and was extremely timely, honest and reasonable with price and I called Memorial Day weekend. The owner was also very honest and helpful with advice on future improvements I am considering.

They were good and they did what I had asked them to. I checked Angie’s List and I saw good reviews, there were comments that said they use people without experience but it I did take a try and there was an experienced person who was also there with them who did most of the work. They took extra time than usual but it was fine; at the end of the day they did a good job so I am happy. They can do better with the quality but it is okay.
