Rick Drinkard is the contact for the company. He did a fine job. He was pretty professional and quick to finish. He also cleaned up very well. I would definitely use him in the future.

We called the company and did not get a response, so we called again. The second call was responded to quickly. Rick came the next day to give us an estimate on removing some large dead limbs on our oak tree that we were afraid might fall down and cause serious damage. He pointed out that the tree next to it also had some large branches that might also cause for concern. He gave us an estimate for $500 for doing both trees. His workers came the next morning and got right to work. They were very professional and did a very good job. They cleaned up the area very well and were careful not to damage any grounds around the trees. We would hire them again.

Called Independence Tree Care on 11/6 requesting a free estimate to remove the trees and stumps. Rick Dinkard came out to the house on 11/7 and gave us a estimate in writing. He estimated 2 weeks before the service could be performed. Rick called on 11/10 that he had an unexpected opening in his schedule for 11/11. We agreed to have the trees removed on that date. The work crew arrived on time at 8:30am and removed the 3 trees (a 30 foot mulberry, a 35 foot spruce, and a 25 foot crab) in about 3 hours, including clean up. The stump removal machine was not available until 11/16. We were not home on that date, but the stumps were removed and the yard was cleaned up.

They came right out to give me an estimate. They were the third company that I received estimates from and they told me a whole bunch of things that the other companies did not. They were very honest about what work actually needed to be done and what work could be postponed. They did not try to sell me a whole bunch of unnecessary work. I give them all A's. They did great.

They did excellent work. They gave me free estimates and a senior citizen discount. They raked up everything, even the scraps and things, and blew the sidewalk clean. They charged a very reasonable price. I had estimates as high as $2,000 for the same work.
