BDRY overall did a good job. The job took slightly longer than I expected but I don't blame the workers for that. It is a time consuming process to lay concrete. The booking agent on the phone should've factored that in. They really did an excellent job on the concrete. As far as the actual system, time will tell. It hasn't rained a whole lot since then but my basement has been DRY! The only thing I was displeased with is that when they put back the washer/dryer and sink, the plumbing was leaky. I called them back asking them to fix that, and they were very responsive to my request. . I would give them an A-

Experienced and polite crew of three. Informed me what they were going to do each day - all three days. Cleaned up and left entire area spotless. Explained lifetime warranty and gave me a number to call if I encountered any problems at any time. No problems to date. Basement completely dry. Have peace of mind and no more fear of emergency calls about water in the basement. Well worth the investment!

The job took longer than planned but they did have a lot of items in the way. They had to remove the hot water heater, washer/dryer, and unhook the utility sink. They did a good job with the cement work. It hasn't really rained since I had it done so I cannot determine how well the system actually works!

We were very satisfied with B-Dry's work. Bob Krzemenski came to our house and we explained that we had water leaking on 2 of our 4 walls, and needed a new sump pump to replace our torpedo pump. We had initially said that we wanted all 4 walls waterproofed. Bob had asked us why we wanted all 4 walls done when we only have ever had leaking issues on 2 walls. The answer was only that we didn't know NOT waterproofing all 4 walls was an option. Bob said he could do all 4 walls but it was a waste of money for us. His honesty went a long way for us. In the end the B-Dry team came in and installed their system. They dug out our existing basement floor, laid the track and gravel and re-cemented what was torn out. They also dug out the area where our existing torpedo pump was and installed a sump that is level with the ground. Besides having to move any items we had in the basement away from the walls, which included our washer/dryer and laundry tub, we also removed the bottom platform to our basement stairs so they could access the floor in that area to waterproof it. The team that did the work was at our house when they said they would be, and the time we were quoted that they would need to be at our house was accurate. The clean up was great, hardly any dust left behind. If I could change one thing it would be where one of the clean out drains were installed. We had to remove our steps to install the system, and one of the clean outs was installed where the steps are. If we ever need to clean out that side of the track we would have to remove the stairs again.

My experience via Wayne from B Dry Basement was very good. Don't worry about my foundation it's in good shape. Just deal with the cracks in the concrete floor by filling them in with an epoxy product. I was very relieved after speaking with Wayne form B Dry Basement. There was no charge for his services.

The sales representative was informative and very low pressure. There was no "sign now and we'll give you a special price." Several days later when I decided to go with this company and called, I was assigned the days for this work. The crew showed up on time and were very nice and professional. Jack hammering wasn't fun, but the sales representative had prepared me for this. This part took about 5 hours. The crew put down drop cloths from my basement to the garage and even covered my car with plastic! They took out all of the concrete they broke up - took up the clay that was blocking the old drainage tiles, carried down gravel and concrete and still didn't make a mess. :) They took all of this waste away on their truck. The crew was responsive to my questions and took me to the basement to explain everything before they left. I have intentionally waited almost two weeks to write a review to see what happened when the snow melted - we live in Michigan. Well, the snow has all melted and we've had almost two days of rain, and not a drop of water in my basement. What a welcome relief. I am very pleased with this company, their representative, and the crew who really, really worked hard.

Waterproofing a basement is a loud and dirty process. B-Dry prepared us for this, but also did their best to keep the mess at a minimum, and cleaned up after the job was completed. Very polite, efficient crew!

They have been great so far. They have been around for a long time. The guy that came out was quite experienced and price wise they were really low. They are going to give us a lifetime warranty. They have been punctual and starting the work today.

They did a good job fixing the water damage and getting the water to flow towards the pump. They ruined the steps going to the basement. They were also supposed to put a wood plank in to wedge the cover in place and they didn't do that, meaning they charged me for work they didn't even do. Tried calling the office but the phone was out of order.

They were the most reasonably priced company I found. Since they installed the system for me I have not had one drop of water in my basement in over two years. Their service really works. It is a lifetime system.

Our overall experience was good except for the salesperson who wrote up the order. We wanted the entire basement waterproofed but he said it wasn't necessary and was saving us money. I showed him where moisture formed at the base of the walls in the back part of the house he said the problem could be repaired from the outside by digging out some of the soil and lay heavy plastics then top with pea gravel. I did all of that but 2 years later and the problem has worsened. It would have saved us money in the long run to of had the entire basement done 2 years ago within our original contract because the price is cheaper per linear foot. For the reason noted here, I will check out other waterproofing companies in Angie's list to get estimates. From the time we got the estimate it took over a month before installation. B-Dry claimed the city of Dearborn was slow with granting the permit and that this was the norm. Workers were punctual, friendly and very profession. Our overall experience was good but could have been excellent if not for above note. We would still recommend them for quality work.

They did a nice job. They do a job, and its forever. We sold that house, and whoever bought it will still have that warranty. We haven't had any problems since 1970 when they last did the work. We just had them come before we sold the house. They were very good and they cleaned up very nicely, which was really a plus for us.

They did a pretty good job. It was pretty painless. They were very pleasant. They did what they had to do and got out. I am very happy with them.

We called B-Dry because our home had an existing warranty from the previous owners. They were called on a Monday and were out on that Thursday to assess the situation and schedule the repairs. They were informative as to what the problem was and how it was going to be fixed and what we could expect. They were efficient in their work on the day of the actual repair. My only complaint is that he left behind chunks of cement in the yard where he mixed it together. Very satisfied with the way the warranty was not questioned and the problem was promptly fixed.

B-Dry was efficient and punctual. They diagnosed our problem and designed a solution tailored to our needs. They didn't try to sell us a "package" or more than we needed. Later, when we still had some issues with leakage after their initial work was completed, they quickly came back out, determined what needed to be done, and fixed it. They stayed with the job until the problem was resolved. They also dealt with the city, getting the permits and inspections, and very thoroughly cleaned up after themselves. We got estimated from many companies. B-Dry's overall cost was not the lowest nor was it the highest. We did not feel pressured to buy anything from them. We believe that we got our money's worth with B-Dry and would absolutely recommend them to others with similar waterproofing issues.

The job went very well. B-Dry knows what they are doing when it comes to basement water leaks.

They did a good job. I don’t remember how much I spent but I know it was quite a bit. As they were doing the job I had to add on sections. I told them what walls I wanted done and as they were going there was another room that I added on. I didn’t do the whole basement but I did the majority of it. As they went, they said that this area has a lot of water coming out of it and they asked me if they could do the rest of the wall because of the amount of water that would leak in. So they gave me a price and they did a couple of extra things for me that they didn’t charge me for. When they were doing the extra room, they said it was good that I decided to do it because it had retained a lot of water in the bricks. It goes by footage. The more footage, the less it costs. I will use their services again in the future.

B-Dry came to our rescue after our original (inept) contractor botched the job and then bailed on us. The owner, Mr. Showler came out, saw what a fix we were in and worked with us to get the job finished correctly. We are very happy with the job that George and the guys did and we highly recommend B-Dry Systems of Michigan. They were the BEST!!!!

Everything went well. They did an amazing job. The company is extremely thorough and stands by its work.

Some time after a heavy rain, perhaps a year to six months later, there was leakage on the basement floor. We considered it a relatively small amount and thought we'd wait to see if it would become the kind of profuse leaking we experienced prior to the waterproofing, and which prompted us to call B-Dry. When it didn't, we thought no more of it, having accepted for many years (prior to purchasing the B-Dry product) the accumulation of much heavier leakage following rains. Now it seems that after every particularly heavy rain we can expect to see some water accumulation coming from the same source that B-Dry assured us their service would eliminate. After the most recent heavy rain, we decided to ask B-Dry to come out and inspect. The B-Dry representative came out and examined exactly the same situation as was examined by their representative prior to our purchasing the service in 2007, however, this rep said we would need extensive foundation work to stop the same leakage that B-Dry service purported and contracted to quell with their service of January, 2007. He did note that he would speak with his superiors regarding the situation, we have yet to hear from him or the company.

B-Dry did all the things I would expect of the skilled trades. They explained the system and the work to be done. They provided documentation. The provided advance notice. They were timely and prompt. They did enough setup to minimize the disruption and mess in the rest of the home. They cleaned up the area better than how they found it. They provided follow-up. They were courteous. The system is in. I would give them A- on install--only because the repair cement is not perfectly level with the rest of the floor, which in our basement is not a problem. I am sure they would have smoothed to perfection if we needed it.

Till now everything is going fine and I will be using them to do this work. The quote was given some time ago but the weather is not good, so they have been busy. My work was to be done in next week but they have moved it to this week. My overall experience till now is great.

I called to get an estimate on waterproofing my basement. He promptly called me back and spent 1/2 hour discussing my problem with me. He ultimately said he couldn't help me and I shouldn't spend the money (his services would not stop by the problem). He also gave me several referrals for others who could potentially help.

They did a great job. Their prices were reasonable. They responded immediately and arrived on time.

The initial estimate went well. Carl inspected my basement and then explained the B-Dry system. It was not a high pressure sales pitch like Insta-Dry. I called the references of the names they sent and based on those satisfied customers and the reports on Angie's List, I hired B-Dry. The crew was here for 1 1/2 days. I was concerned that the foreman never showed but my questions were answered by the crew and I took pictures to document the process. It's been almost a month since I had the work done and I'm satisfied with the results. There was heavy rain in the week that followed the installation of the drainage system and my basement is dry! That's great peace of mind. I have called the company a few times with questions and they have quickly respond and answered my questions.
