It went well they found the problem and they got the part and fixed the problem and now my heater is heating and keeping me warm.

Estimate

Furnace quit working in early morning hours. Called Martin's as soon as they were open. They sent a crew out within a few hours. They patched it together but said it needed replacing. We ordered a new furnace and while it was on our way to our house the old one quit for good.They worked very late installing the new one even though it was almost the Christmas holiday--and didn't charge us overtime. Also walked us through the tax break for the furnace, and the rebate.

The company did a great job. We had no problems with him what so ever.

I received an estimate with several options as to what would be included with various prices. The system was installed as scheduled and as according to the estimate. The workers were efficient and polite. They made an effort to keep the house clean and were willing to work with me as to the placement of the vents. However, they did not tape the joints. They placed one duct around a water line; we later had to call a plumber to move the water line. They did not want to come back to start the system after the gas line was installed; however, they did eventually come back and start the system as required. The system works well. We did tape the joints ourselves to increase efficiency.

Installers came at appointed time. The furnace was installed in a couple hours. When they finished they left the area clean. Appreciated their professionalism. I don't know if I overpaid for this furnace or not, however, being Clare County and finding reputable contractors I would use Martin Heating and Cooling again.

They did a very good job. They have been in the area for a very long time probably since the early 1980s. They have just always done good work for us. Whenever we have called, they have been right there available immediately. It is good comparative pricing. Overall, it is a good local company with good people. They seem to understand that they need to be a good company in a small area in order to survive, so they do really well and strive to do good work to keep that. We would use them again in the future.
