Description of Work: I have used Jessee Hurst of Alpine Appliance repair on two occasions to repair a washing machine and an oven. The service is always quick and expedient and his expertise is great. On the first one, washer, he gave me the option of repairing a complicated door control or ordering a new one. He repaired (less$) and the door works perfectly. Second call was for an igniter. I sent model and serial # and he arrived with the correct part. This man really knows his profession and I highly recommend him!

It went very well. They were very professional and even wore footies over his shoes so he would not get my floor dirty, and had mats so that he did not scratch my floors. He arrived right on time and was very respectful of my time in that I had to get to work. He was able to schedule me within a few days of when I called to come out and do the work. He was also able to repair many different appliances. I was very happy with their work.
Description of Work: Examined my broken washing machine, which unfortunately would cost more to repair than it was worth,h he was very honest with me about this. He adjusted the legs on my stove so that it was flush with my countertop. The freezer section of my refrigerator was frosting up, he was able to fix the problem by repairing the lower shelf, and finally he hooked up the water line to my refrigerator.

I called Alpine Appliance and left a message how my 2001 GE side by side refrigerator freezer was performing and my name and phone number. He called me back within a reasonable length of time. We set up a time and day for him to come to my house that worked for both of us. He came, examined the refrigerator, had the new unit on hand, fixed the refrigerator-freezer, installed a new 40 watt light bulb in the freezer for free. Jesse is a nice young man and I enjoyed doing business with him. I sat in the kitchen and visited with Jesse while he worked. Today is one month later and my refrigerator is working great.
Description of Work: Jesse removed the defroster heater and replaced it with a new defroster heater with new OEM in my GE side by side refrigerator freezer which I had bought in 2001.He also examined the refrigerator and defrosted the freezer manually.

Jesse is a total professional. He quoted his hourly labor cost over the phone when I contacted him the first time. Then when he made the appointment to come to my home, he called the day before to make sure I was still available in that time slot, and then on the day of service he contacted me again and told me the exact time he would be there...very much appreciated in this world of people not showing up when they say they will. When he came to my door, he introduced himself, put shoe covers on before going onto my carpet, and went straight into my laundry room to begin the service call. Within minutes we had the washing machine running so he could diagnose the problem, and he found that I had a few things wrong that were creating the issues I had been having. He went out to his truck, got the major parts that he happened to have on hand, and began repairing my washing machine. He didn't waste any time looking for the parts; he seemed to know exactly where they were and how to tear down the machine quickly to get to the broken parts. Jesse didn't mind that I asked him a bunch of questions while he was working so I could better understand what had happened, and he even showed me the broken parts and how the new ones were made so that the same thing didn't happen again. When he had finished putting the major parts in, Jesse said he had to order other parts for the agitator, but they would be in within a few days. He said I could still use the washer with the old ones, and that it would be okay until the new ones came in. When they did, Jesse called and made the follow-up appointment, called to make sure I'd be home in the time we had agreed upon, then again on that day to tell me exactly when he'd be here. Again, he put the shoe covers on, went straight to my laundry room, put the new agitator dogs(?) and retainer ring in, turned the washer on to make sure everything worked properly, and that was that! Jesse carries a small laptop with him to check on parts availability, order parts on the spot, and do billing on the spot. He accepts credit cards and can print out your receipt for you immediately. Jesse also guarantees the parts and labor on the services he provides for one year. As you can see, I'm very impressed with this young man and his way of doing business. It's the way it should be done, and I am so glad I called him. I contacted a few other people for service as well, but none of them returned my call...their loss, my gain. I would recommend Alpine Appliance LLC of Clare, Michigan, to anyone interested in appliance repairs in this area.
Description of Work: The owner of the business (Jesse Hurst) personally came out to my home, analyzed the problems with my washing machine, and serviced it with parts that he had on hand so that I could use my machine immediately. Then Jesse ordered minor parts that would finish the job. He even tightened a loose valve that was leaking a little, something that I was wondering whether it needed to be replaced or not. When he came back on June 15th, Jesse put the minor parts in my agitator so that I wouldn't have to worry about old parts combined with new parts in it. All in all, he did a fantastic job. I'm very pleased.
